A little crowded with somewhat slow service, but this isn't like fast food. The desk guy did well in handling my job and the whole return took a little less than half an hour.

Scarlett KI was charged over $120 for a $30 truck rental, and this doesn't even include the gas I paid to bring the truck back up to where it was, and I was forced to download and subscribe to U-Haul's app. Had I not had a working or even a working non smart phone, I would have been charged even more because I wouldn't have been able to return the truck. I was not notified of an afterhours returning fee as well. Plus, I also have to do all the checks around the truck when that has always been the U-Haul's employee duties but apparently, I work for U-Haul now and have to do their job.
Robert PI disagree with the rental return policy that you need to download the app. That was frustrating.
Allie CAfter-hours return rigmarole sucks bigtime. I was close to just dropping my key in the dropbox without going through the bullshit, but instead I ended up locking the key in the truck after completing the online garbage. Roadside "Assistance" wanted $200 for a lockout fee, which I am unwilling and unable to pay. Go unlock your own truck on your own time. The oily reason I bothered trying is out of courtesy since the key was turned to show the display. This has nothing to do with the location specifically; it is a systematic problem with the company at large. Be better.

Debbie HThe truck had multiple problems: dash alert about stabilitrack or something. Also it complained of low tire pressure on the passenger front tire (it looked OK to me but the alert was constant). The air conditioning blew warm air so that was a bummer. Also the padlock on the rear door was not attached to the chain, which was kind of irritating. Normally the vehicles I get from this location are great but this one was in rough shape

Chantal WThe people working there definitely hated their lives. The van smelled like cigarettes so bad. I was charged for 13 extra miles when I paid for 100 miles, and only went 94. Also filled the gas tank up (more than what I started with) and was charged for 2 gallons of gas still. Customer service was terrible.

He was knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, professional, answered my questions that I’m sure people ask a zillion times a day with good humor and reassurance. That guy is at a great employee to have. Usually I get somebody who looks like they’re way too busy and doesn’t really want to have to deal with other people. Not this guy, he really made the experience positive and reassuring. Think of it, most people don’t walk in there having driven trucks before, so he was really an asset to the U-Haul experience

ANDRIANA MHonestly everything was great expect the automated check in and check out process. Checking out, I was there during business hours so I didn’t worry about it. But returning? So many damn questions that take forever especially with the requirement for added photos. Seemed especially excessive as I paid for safetrip. In addition, I was charged a fuel surcharge even tho use the fuel level was at the requested level when checked out. I think the calibration of the fuel level through the app isn’t as precise as needed to accurately show why level the vehicle is at.

DIAN MMessed up my online reservation so that when I arrived no truck was ready, then my reservation disappeared while I was talking to person at counter. Reservation was charged and closed While I was still there before the truck was even available. Finally got a truck but when I returned it, my receipt was for the original cancelled/messed up online reservation, which charged me an incorrect amount. I was charged for gas even though I returned it at the same level. Major mess up
JAMES SThis was the worst U-Haul experience I have had. The employees were overworked, under informed, stretched too thin, and had little to no manners which is fair considering the working conditions. I got my vehicle nearly an hour late, and soaking wet and had to go inside to ask for a new van. Granted it was wet because it was cleaned but that’s not okay to have me wait that long then send me out to a wet, unusable vehicle. Hated this experience.

DUSTIN SNo issues with the actual equipment, the customer service was abysmal though. Like truly not good. And the QR code/in app return process did not work so be prepared to struggle if returning after business hours as it’s not as easy as they make it seem.

SUSAN WYour app is terrible. It was incredibly frustrating to try and complete a pick up through the app and get stuck over and over. Additionally, information in the app doesn’t match the real experience. I ended up having to wait in a long line to do my pick up in person. The location was fantastic, but the corporate experience awful.

TERRY FFor the second time in a month we rented a truck and furniture Dollies and the Powell location has forgotten to put the Dollies in the truck BOTH TIMES. Today they also gave us a wet, dirty, smelly truck that we had to clean by hand. The seatbelt didn’t click. Just a hunk of dirty, filthy junk and our move was completely messed up AGAIN because they didn’t give us the equipment we rented and paid for. We will never use this location ever again.
LOGAN LI had an issue with Autoprada, the site I initially had selected as the return drop off. They were very slow to respond to a question regarding drop off then actually cancelled my drop off and put me at another site far, far away, all without notifying me. Luckily I was able to resolve this with customer service by phone the evening before the rental, but Autoprada was awful.

FAUSTO RI love renting a truck from this location. The staff are always super friendly, fast, and efficient. I'm able to get my tasks done with absolutely no hassle!
CARRIE LI didn't receive the text telling me to take a picture of the truck until after I had driven away. The Powell location is in a cell deadzone for many, I used to live near there. You should please have the attendant ask customers to photograph the truck ao this step is not missed.
LANA UThe only issue is: This is a old truck with more than 100,000 miles, The tire warning light is on even though tires seem no problem. It made me worrisome when driving.

Christian Hwe walked in the store NO ONE was in the store. i had to walk out of the store around the back to get someone's attention. so ANYONE could've easily walked in the store and taken w/e they wanted. why the front door wasn't locked is beyond me. very friendly staff, guy was nice, but, business wise? someone would've been fired.
