When I arrived and there was a latino male stuff was asked to help me. He was clearly poorly trained: I was informed when I picked up the truck that with the tow dolly the truck shall not go reverse, but he tried to go reverse to backing to a different spot, not a surprise he failed to move the tow dolly and my car on it. Then I asked for help with disconnecting the tow dolly and remove my car, he said it was not free service and asked me for $15 cash . I said I have no cash and I have paid the whole service and he asked me to disconnect the tow dolly myself. You'd better clarify if his behaviour is acceptable, it is not for me.

DAMION HMy complaint isn't with the service or location. Xavier helped me and they were great. The trailer I rented on the other hand was horrible. The door was jammed. It took two of us to open it every time. The trailer was rusted and beat up. I was afraid the whole time I had it that my stuff was going to get stuck in there because the door was next to impossible to open. It was a crappy trailer and shouldn't be rented.

ZACHARY CThe truck had engine issues, brakes that needed replacement (couldn't stop and squeaked constantly), and shocks that needed replacement. The truck was bouncing around constantly. On top of that, I had terrible costumer service. First, I ordered dollys, but I'm didn't have any available at pick up. The gentleman there added rudely "Well, you shouldn't have reserved the day before rental." I replied I didn't reserve yesterday, but in fact several days prior. His response was, "you can always buy some!" If he did have dollys available to buy, I will be that he would have converted those to rentals so I could fulfill what I ordered. Then on top of that, they charged me for two days even though I only had the truck for one day. It's clear they don't care about repeat service. I'm still trying to get a reply on my ticket of over charging.

EVAN NThe only good thing about my pick up experience was Cheyenne who was extremely nice and helpful. All of the men working that day, were rude, specifically Kenny. It seems he has communication issues because he mostly gestures with his hands instead of using words which made it really challenging for my first time having a trailer attached to my car, the set up, the reservation, etc. He also was very rude when completing my reservation on the computer. He got frustrated with me and walked away, Cheyenne had to take over. I really hope he can get some training in communication and customer service if he is going to be helping people. Also no one showed me how to properly close and secure lock the trailer door, a huge safety precaution. The door ended up flying open when I packed it. Thankfully by a miracle nothing flew out.

DARRELL WEverything was great except when when I arrived to pick up my equipment, they said they didn't have the dolly I reserved. I found that very confusing and they were unapologetic (not one apology just "it happens sometimes, sometimes people keep them.") and started telling me to go somewhere else, but I told him I was on a schedule and couldn't do that. So after I told them that, they found a different type of dolly for me. I feel like with any other business if they couldn't provide you with what you reserved they would at least apologize and drop the charge. Also the system would not properly upload my DL so they had to do it manually. Otherwise, it was great.

Constantino PI had an absolutely horrendous experience with U-Haul that endangered my family and me, destroyed my property, and cost me hundreds of dollars. The equipment they rented me was faulty, leaving us stranded on the side of the road from 8 PM to 5:30 AM—nearly 10 hours! This wasn’t just an inconvenience; it was dangerous and completely avoidable. To make matters worse, a U-Haul employee violated my privacy by cutting my lock and trans-loading my belongings without my consent or presence. When I finally got access to the truck, several items were damaged or missing. On top of all that, I missed my arrival date by over 24 hours, lost $300 for movers I had already paid for, and had to spend extra on a hotel, totaling $500 in additional costs. Their response? A laughable $200 compensation offer. It’s insulting and shows how little they value their customers’ safety, time, and trust. U-Haul failed on every level: providing safe equipment, handling my property with care, and offering any reasonable resolution. I will never use their services again and strongly urge others to think twice before trusting them. Shameful service and complete lack of accountability.

CREIGHTON AOne guy at the counter was stuffing his mouth full of peanuts, attending customers, and taking phone calls on the speaker phone at the same time. The guy that "helped" me asked me to repeat my phone number 4 times because he kept messing up the check in. When I finally got the keys to the truck, I went out to find there was no way out of the lot. I asked the guy and he seemed super annoyed that I asked him about it. The truck smelled horrible (I'm almost sure it was human excrement) and there was sticky stuff on the dashboard.
Kenneth SBoth an office chair and filing cabinet each lost a wheel. The filing cabinet was dented. And my 55" TV won't start so it must have gotten banged up. How do I file for some support?
Margaret BThe trailer was in need of serious maintenance and was not safe to be on the highway. One tire was severely balding on one side and at least one side was extremely out of balance. I have 15 years experience using small to medium trailers and this one was distinctly unsafe. The vibrations and bouncing (empty and under load) could have easily resulted in an accident. Otherwise, staff was fine, cost was fine.

roman mThe 6x12 trailer had an issue with the door to the trailer. The employee checking me out could not get it down. He called another employee for help and he had to use a crow bar to get the door down. He said it was because the previous person to open the door had not put the latch in the correct position. When I got to my pickup location and went to open the door, I had the latch in the correct location and the door went up inside the trailer. Fortunately I was able to reach the bottom of the now hidden latch and was able to get the door down a little. I then had to use a screw driver to keep the door from retracting within the trailer.
CHARLES SI dropped my rental off at 6:50PM just 10 minutes before closing. There were two employees sitting at the desk and I asked them what I needed to do to close out. And they asked me for the Keys and said that was it. I got an email the following day saying that I dropped the vehicle off at 7:30PM and was charged an additional $20 for checkout after hours for not going through the app. To me this is unacceptable and I'll be leaving a bad review unless the charge is removed from my account.
