I would say to remind the customer to check the contract for accuracy before driving away. Upon pick up, the contract indicated that the gasoline tank, upon departure, was 3/4 full. In actuality, the gasoline tank when I took the truck was only at 1/2 tank. I should have reviewed the contract (mileage and gasoline) upon my departure and taken a photograph of the mileage and gasoline indicator, however I did neither. As a result, at the end, I payed an extra $60 on the return of the rental for gasoline since the contract reflected departure gasoline incorrectly. While this is my own fault for not checking or taking a photo of the mileage and indicator, the fact that the contract was not accurate at the outset makes one hesitate for future rentals. Seems like sloppiness and creates a loss of trust with customers. From now on, if I ever rent from Uhaul again, I will check my contract for accuracy and take photos to indicate the actual mileage and gasoline. It was not the amount of money that I overpaid that is disappointing, while I am not happy about that, it is the fact that the booking and contracting appears to be haphazard and sloppy. Again, my fault for not checking before I departed.

This isn’t about any employee in particular but you guys should consider updating your network. The morning of my reservation there was a back up because the “system was being slow”. And I never got the name of the person manning the desk but poor guy! Maybe it’s true that there were so many reservations since it’s the end of the month and everyone and their mom’s are moving but again, you should consider having your IT do some networking wizardry. This goes for your app too! Respectfully, that shit sucks. Delay aside, I didn’t have any other issues. Once the app got its act together I had a seamless process.

Antonio and the guys at the store were great. Courteous and professional during the busy time i picked up my van and checked me out quickly on return. This was a great example of customer service.

I returned the truck with exactly the same amount of gas that it had when I left the lot. I drove 26 miles. I have a receipt for the 2.8 gallons of gas I put in the truck but I was still charged $43 for 6 gallons of gas. If that truck uses 6 gallons for 26 miles I'm not sure how that is legal in California. I hope someone will amend my bill.....this has the appearance of not being completely legit.

Has been from the past to this present time ab “Positive Place to rent equipment numerous times over the past 7 years!” Edwin who Manages this Facility treats customers and his staff through my own experiences and observing his interactions. In a Positive, Fair Way with Professionalism! This way of his doing business nowadays is a Unique experience and a great way in doing business with others! Thank you with appreciation! Rob

I have done business on a semi regular time period of over 7 + Years. I met Edwin who manages this Uhaul facility about 2 years ago. He has a good positive energy and a good crew working with him. It’s great to see him positively shining when I come in to do business with Uhaul. My past experiences with Edwin is that I see him as a fair and Positive minded Manager. I appreciate doing my personal business with this type of positive energy! I wrote past review a few years back! I wanted to recommend anyone reading my comments. This was the BEST truck rental experience I've ever had! The team was great. The truck was great. Dropping off was a piece of cake. It's the only place I'll rent from in L.A.! Well done!

I’ve rented three trucks from this location and so far all of them have had some “play” in the universal joint steering mechanism. Safety concern. On at least one other truck the instrument panel light was not working. Extremely dangerous! Uhaul provides a valuable service, but it would be stellar if routine maintenance work was made a part of its business model.

I picked up this morning (3/29/26) at 9am. The clerk that was there to help everyone with their rentals was by himself due to a staff shortage I unfortunately did not get his name.1 customer in front of me was irritated because of the time it was taking to get his rental but I wanted to write this to commend the clerk that was there. It already was a stressful situation and he was really going above and beyond to take care of the customers, including myself. It was not his fault there was a staff shortage and he kept trying his very best. Please recognize him for his efforts and I hope the management better staffs the store especially on the last sunday of the month.

I am very dissatisfied with the employee who handled my rental. He was unfriendly, did not provide me with any paperwork or any confirmation of the fuel level, and because of this error I was overcharged by about $130. The truck also had a safety issue: the left side mirror would not stay in position, and I had to keep adjusting it the entire time just to maintain visibility on the left side.

The location is not a problem. The app is. I have used the self pickup and drop-off. I have added more gas than I used. The app did not ask me to take pictures when I picked the car. I took pictures when I returned, which shows more gas than when I picked it up, but they still charged me $20 for gas. I will have to dispute on my credit card.

Pick-up a large box truck with nearly 1/8 fuel tank felt uncomfortable. I shouldn't be heading straight to the gas station after picking uo the truck. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The endless upsaling offers while using the online check in felt ecsessive and borderline desperate.

The team is really good. The van acted really weird, many of the sensors and gauges were not operating correctly. As an example, the low tire pressure warning light came on after driving about 15 miles. The air pressure kept going up and down while driving as if the tires were inflating themselves. One tire was quite low, but the way the hub cap was on, the valve stem was not accessible. The fuel gauge never moved, so it was impossible to know how much fuel was in the van. The people working at the facility were apologetic and helpful.

My reservation was transferred to another location that wasn’t very close to my house. They changed my drop off location without telling me. Then they tried to force me to go to the new location even though we were in the middle of a big rain and snow storm. In comparison, the original drop off location was very close and convenient.

1. My reserved 10 foot truck had no been returned and was 45 minutes late at the time I showed up. The attendant said I could take a 15 foot truck and be charged for a 10 foot truck. He lied 🤥. I’m being charged for a 15 foot truck! (false advertising) 2. The side mirrors were not adjustable and made safe driving difficult.(safety hazard) 3. The dashboard does not illuminate! I almost ran out of gas because I couldn’t see the fuel guage. It is highly needed at night. (safety hazard) 4. The steering column has significant “play”. U-haul is playing with 🔥 fire awaiting an accident and potential lawsuit.(safety hazard)

Iva been going to uhaul on Alameda and victory. Threw the years some of them may of left and new people come ALL of them have always help me out, really great People work for Uhaul. I am always renting uhaull threw the years! Great Services always

I just calculated via a Maps app that I did 24 miles in the truck. I had to put $22.00 worth of gas into the truck to get it back to where I started. That does not seem right.

I was going to be late to my pickup, so I called the store 6 times, to which no one picked up. when I got there, the order had been cancelled. they said they cancel the order if you are half an hour late, but I received no email or notice, nor a call. luckily there were vans available and the guys said he didnt pick up the phone because he was 'there alone' and 'sometimes the main line sucks' other than the customer service, sure the van was great.

Service at this U-Haul location is the best! My only issue is when renting a cargo van they do not have enough of the RAM van's.

This was not the location I was told to pick up equipment. I went to the original location and was then told I needed to go to a different location because they didn’t have my equipment. I had reserved an appliance dolly and that wasn’t available either. U-Haul computer systems were very slow so the checkout process took 45 minutes rather than five. Overall, a very crappy experience.

I was not told that the rate would still be the same if I went over the time limit. I received the van 45 minutes later yet I was pressured to still return at the same time. When I returned the vehicle I was ignored while two employees were still talking and I was standing there.

The online/app reservation and pickup system is horrible. When trying to confirm the truck and take photos, the photos wouldn't upload through the app. The worker told me to just take photos and store them on my phone. I won't be using the app to do pickup anymore. It was a waste of time.

I have choose retuen by App, but after the half process, the app quit and I can't continue the process to upload the photo of the car when I retuen it. I parked it in front of the uhaul store, on front of a truck.
