Miguel DI had received no confirmation of pick up as of 4:45 PM the day before rental so I had to call u-Haul to confirm rental. They informed me that the closest 5X8 trailer was 45 minutes away from where i had scheduled it. So, Saturday morning I drive 45 minutes each way to pick up my rental. Freaking rediculous!!! The woman at the counter at the Concord U-Hail could not have been more rude to the customers. It wasn't just me, it was others in from of me as well. What was odd was that she completely changed her attitude when speaking with coworkers and was a sweet as pie. Absolutely terrible customer service! Then they proceeded to supply me a trailer that had two bald tires. When I commented something about the tire wear the attendant said nothing. Needless to say, three quarter of the way home the tire on the trailer blew out. Why would U-Haul ever put a vehicle on the road in such an unsafe state? The only right thing U-Haul did was have the tire repair company replace both of the tires. I then made it home safely.
Thomas KLet’s just say Uhaul of concord saved me lol 😂 I forgot to make a reservation for a truck and I looked around trying to find a truck well I decided to stop by Uhaul of concord and see maybe they have something and the did I even got to meet some wonderful people Ashley Whom help me was so amazing also the lady Monica pulled my truck up help me complete the walk around inspection on the app which is a good idea then as I finish up my move on return side I got to meet the manager Brodee he such a great character wonderful gentleman and I see why it’s overall good service they all provide great service nice and clean environment top tier I know now where to come thank you 🙏…… Mr Cook

WILLIAM VI got what I needed but the clerk who tended to me was terse and not as helpful as she could've been. This was my first time with a trailer and there was no offer to help or demonstrate how to hook it up. As soon as she was done with my transaction she disappeared. I asked a technician who was under another customer's car installing something and he was actually very friendly and helpful. The trailer was functional but paint was peeling off and it didn't look very well maintained.

KYRA KRented a 20 Ft Truck from U-Haul on Monument Blvd in Concord, Ca and could not be happier with the equipment and service at this location. Brodee took great care of us and made moving a snap. The Truck was immaculate, great performance and nicely equipped. I would recommend this location for your moving needs. 5 Stars, see you guys next time! Best, Shawn Brown
SHAWN BThe employees were kind of indifferent to customers. Like they didn’t want to be there. NONE of the equipment I reserved was available and they told me “that’s how it always is”. There were a bunch of workers hassling me for work when I drove onto the lot too. This location is disgusting.

ELVIS CTrucks are pretty old but the big thing was the lady working this am when we picked up. Absolutely fantastic person to have greet a customer. She was GREAT!!!!! Love her attitude and she’s a people person. Just wonderful. Drop off was super easy too. Very happy customers!! Thank you :)
ALAN BThere was trash on the ground, and a lot of trucks in the area. I had to wait a while to turn in my trailer, but the staff was very kind and friendly. I went in the morning, so it was probably a busier time of day.

HARMESH KAll of the people that work, there were fantastic, friendly, and professional. Made me feel like a valued customer from the moment I walked in. The process was simple and they made it easy and the only thing I would suggest is to spend a little bit of money fixing up your Customer waiting area. It’s super outdated and for a few bucks you can put a TV in there a nice new table and shares and it not cost a lot but really make a difference. Besides that, A+ across-the-board for you guys. Well done!

Made the pick up and drop off processes effortless for me, the customer. 5 stars and will definitely rent from them again even if I have to go out of my way to pick up a truck or trailer from this location. I was very impressed with their ability to adapt to whatever was thrown their way. Problem, bam taken care of, next! U- Haul your Crew at Concord Monument are Rental Rockstars for sure. Saturday morning at any U-Haul is crazy, I know I’ve been there. Your Family at the Concord store “Rockstars”Unsung heroes if you ask me! Bottom line, would I rent again from U-Haul? Robbie WActually check equipment before it is checked out. The trailer I rented had one flat tire with a nail in it. Another tire had only 20psi. I returned to this location about an hour after I left with the trailer to get it fixed. I was told that they had no way to fix the tire or exchange it for another tire. I was told that the trailer was checked out before it was rented to me. I was told to call road service. When I called road service an automated voice directed me to the website. On multiple tries, the website could not find my contract number. I gave up and went to a gas station to have the tire repaired.
PETER PHands down the staff at concord Uhaul is the best around walk in great vibes good staff knowledgeable and have a answer and a solution to your moving needs even bbq for the party with as the manager said best tasting propane but overall Uhaul on monument was super amazing and affordable I now know where to come

JAKE OI brought the truck back about 25 minutes before my drop off time. I was asked if I wanted a email receipt so I said sure. The lady I spoke to said there wasn’t anything else I needed to do and can leave and expect the email. When I looked at it they charged me for an extra day because it wasn’t checked back in right away. She waited almost an hour. I dropped it off 11:55am, return time should have been 12:23pm and they say it was returned at 12:50pm. So an extra $34.95 + fees & tax. I would definitely say it’s worth the time to wait and make sure things are done in a timely manner.

LINDA BAll had bad attitudes only one person helped one problem.. i asked one employee if he worked here?? He only pointed to his shirt which said nothing.. i handed the employee a good looking lock for my truck and he rang me up when the one good employee spoke up and said that lock wont work for the truck.. I would of went to Utah without being able to lock the truck at my hotel.. very bad experience glad its over… have a blessed day 🇺🇸

Karen ROne person working counter. Half dozen people in line waiting to pick up. Took at least 30 minutes to get through the line. Reserved one furniture dolly and two hand dollys. Was told only one hand dolly was available and nothing else. Was also told my truck was on empty and I needed to put gas in it, which has never happened in all my uhaul experiences. Upon returning, again, a half dozen people in line, one person working the counter. 40 minutes in line to return the truck and was met with a rude attitude by the employee. Would probably not consider Uhaul for future needs now.
ERIC BThis location was Very understaffed at checkout. 1 guy to help everyone showing up in the morning and it is not enough. Checkout should be no more than a few minutes. I had 1 person in front of me, but waited for at least 25 minutes or more just to get helped and there were 8-10 people behind me in line. It was not the staff members fault. Seems like a lot of miscommunication or mismanagement. Kind of unacceptable. The furniture dolly I booked was not available. Other than that, it was ok. But honestly, it made me think I should try Ryder or Penske next time…

MIN SThere were at least 6-10 "day workers" milling about at the driveway entrance to this facility as I drove in. I saw no one from U-Haul on site until after waiting in my vehicle for 2-4 minutes. I asked about a printed receipt and was told to ask for the receipt in the office. No one was in the office for at least 11 - 14 minutes before someone from U-Haul arrived in the office. When I asked for the receipt, I was told to check my email. When I asked for a "printed copy" of my receipt, I was again referred to "check your email" at which time I asked for "a printed copy" of my receipt. Upon reading the printed copy, I inquired about the amount on the receipt ($0). I was told to call U-Haul for an explanation of the amount. "Customer Service" does not explain what I experienced in Concord CA when returning my rented vehicle.

Andreas BThe service was fine; but the automated ID collection & vehicle preview picture upload did not work at all and it took me 1/2 just to try getting the photos of the truck condition at pickup uploaded. I finally went back in to customer service and asked them what to do so I could get going but also protect myself from damages. They said to just take pictures and keep them in my camera until I receive and agree with the final invoice. Trying to take those pictures used up 1/2 hour of rental time! I was not pleased about that.

LLOYD WI had the worst customer service interaction ever when I came to pick up the truck. Because I was not comfortable with the counter person using their personal phone to scan my ID I was cursed at, yelled at, he left in a fit, refused to help me until I made the link work in my own phone and was in tears. I will NEVER rent from UHaul again and will let everyone I know to go rent from Penske. Absolutely hideous human being that nearly wrecked a school experience for my music students as I needed the truck to move 5 string basses and two cellos from my high school where I teach to a festival. A terrible experience.

Randall TIt was my first time there picking up a truck so I didn’t know the process nor explained the process. We weren’t given the right truck to begin with as we needed a ramp after giving dimensions of the table we were picking up. The employee helping us for our rental seemed distracted as he was helping another customer and was taking a personal call on his air pods so maybe that’s when the truck got switched. It was past 30min of us waiting for the rental so we weren’t sure where the communication fell.

RICHARD MTruck was well maintained. It did wreak of cigarette smoke from previous renter, so some sort of air freshener would be welcomed. You could charge users who smoke for the cost of decon for non-smokers who don’t appreciate the smell.

I wanted to give a shout out to Brodee who went above and beyond to help with our truck rental. Gave us excellent customer service. Will definitely be coming back to this location for future rentals or any of my moving needs
