No one was in the office for several minutes. When she finally came out and directed me to the drop off location behind the facility, her directions on how she wanted me to backup were confusing. When asked for clarification, she would repeat the exact same words. She made the drop off an uncomfortable experience.
Joel CRight front tire kept getting low . I had to stop about 4 times to put air in it and had me worried the whole time .

ROBERT BAlexander, the owner, was surly and behaved as if I was imposing on him just by coming into the store. He didn’t acknowledge me or make eye contact and demanded to know if I had an appointment. All I wanted to do was pay for the hitch install and get my car. He even refused to help me when I asked. The clerk who checked me in in the morning was far nicer even though she had a bunch of customers show up at the same time and was also monitoring the parking lot. Too bad he was so awful. Won’t buy the bike rack I looked at. Definitely won’t recommend that store. What a jerk.
shannon yHORRIBLE customer service -- didn't review any of the contract with me, did not disclose that there is a an additional fee for after hours return, did not mention that there was a link being sent to me that I was supposed to review before using the equipment, and added on several extra charges because of that. What was advertised as a $19.95 in-town rental (I literally drove it a total of six miles) ended up costing $85 after all the extra hidden fees they didn't walk me through. When I called to speak to someone about this, they were unhelpful and just kept repeating that it was in the contract. Do better, do your part in disclosing all of the information with your customers. Not doing so is bad business practice, I will NOT be renting from UHaul again.

ALBERT TI turned in my trailer after hours. It was 4 hours after my 24 hours and I got charged for a second day that I wasn’t happy about and then I got charged a third day because the location didn’t check in until two days later. They have scameras monitoring the lot all of the time. They could easily see it was in the parking lot. I was never instructed to use the app to check in my trailer during drop off. I was told to just drop oit off where I picked it up.

LAUREN JInside of the vehicle was dirty, and smelled like a smoker just used the vehicle. Otherwise, process to rent was easy. I was also surprised how good the fuel mileage was.

ROMAN FI returned the trailer to the Farmington hill store on 3/18/25 approx 12:30pm to a man (did not get his name) who disconnected the trailer from my truck and said he would send me an e-mail receipt within an hour. The next day 3/19/25 @ 10am, still no email I called the office, lady said my trailed was still not checked in and would send e-mail to store to take care of asap.I had to call again at 6pm 3/19/25, trailer was not checked in yet. The man said he would do asap, 10 min later I received confirmation e-mail.

PATRICK RI was given a general area where to find a specific truck& serial number. After searching every 20ft truck on the lot by myself a U-Haul employee offered to help me find the truck. We could not find this truck, it was not located on this lot. I had to return to the front desk and to exchange keys and go find the second truck. Delayed my departure by 30 minutes. Frustrating. I would recommend an employee escort you to the truck location to streamline the process.

REGINA HThe Vehicle was filthy inside and out. I also had a low RR tire pressure light that came on. I was going to put air in the tire but decided to call the store first. Good thing I did. Was informed the sensor was malfunctioning and nothing was wrong with the tire and do not add air. It seems this should have been noted upfront or the vehicle should be taken out of commission until repaired.
SABRENAH LWhen returning my vehicle, it was extremely difficult as I was trying to upload the photos. It was stuck on loop so I was out there in the code, constantly trying to upload the photos. It was very difficult while I watched other people just come in and not take any photos at all and drop their key in the box. This should’ve been explained to me if this was something I did not need to do.
KRISTIN APicking up the equipment was a fast and easy process. Besides the left turn signal not working every time, there were no problems.
CONNOR ATruck full of snow that I had to clean myself and when I returned the truck they MIs- marked my gas mark and charged me extra for gas. I returned it with more gas than when I picked it up!!!!!!!!!

SANDRA HWhen I tried to take picture of the truck with the app it was all black, no picture of the truck. Also the windshield wiper sprayer was aimed towards the front of the truck and not the windshield. Otherwise everything was great. The workers were friendly hand helpful.

SHELIA GTwo major cracks in the windshield, and the rear tires are below 4/32” tire tread. I told the desk when I rented it and they said call the help line. Called the help line twice and nothing ever got repaired. On top of all of this they overcharged me for the rental time. When I called it out at the front desk they told me they don’t do anything with corp. Accounts, told me To call the 800 number and walked away from me and would not talk to me. This is the most poorly run facility I have ever dealt with. I will not ever use this facility again. Please call me to resolve the overcharge on my credit card.
