All the negative reviews on here are from people that just don't have anything better else to do but to complain. In 2 weeks I had to ee t from this location 4 times and all 4 times staff was more then fast, helpful and reliable. Trucks and uhaul where exactly what was promise to me.

Jamie AGreat guys to work with. Quick service. *** Was supposed to drop the trailer in Course Gold, Ca. Called that site at 10:00 am. Their response, we close at 5:00pm re: UHaul etc. “Be here before 5“ I was there at 3:00pm. They informed me that they no longer deal with UHaul trailers, no room etc. I had to drive approximately 45miles back to Fresno, and 50 miles back up the Oakhurst. ( 95 total) Please put them in your data base as no longer dealing with UHaul trailers.

JAVIER DWait time took longer then expected need more help at the front desk for quicker service. Second false information we were told to give how many miles we would use and if we went over it would be the same price. We returned the box truck within a hour and they said we went over and charged us more $ for going over when the lady at the front said it would still be the same price if we go over so that was a lie. Just glad we returned it and are done with these services here.

I accidentally dropped the rental this location and had it switched over to this one but was still charged an extra day fee when in reality the truck rental was in fact dropped off same day. I’m extremely upset with my experience and the lack of customer care. I want a refund ASAP

Dale HThe people here work their butts off, so I appreciate them. However, it’s often understaffed, wait times are super long, and even if you choose the self checkout process, you have to wait in line. My complaint though is with U-Haul in general and their customer service. Today, I received a truck that stated the fuel was 45 miles to Empty. I went and put in some gas right away. After I added fuel, the gauge read 13 miles to empty. I called customer service and reported the issue. They told me to just wait until I needed roadside assistance. I assumed it was a faulty gauge, so I kept going. The fuel gauge eventually read 0 miles to empty, but it kept going. Until, of course, I was almost back, and then it ran out of gas. When I called roadside assistance, they informed me that I would be charged $300 for someone to come help me. That did not seem like the best approach, given that the problem was with U-Haul, not my negligence. There was no attempt to understand my situation and offer solutions. I only received a polite, “I’m sorry,” but that’s the way it is. I found another solution and was able to return it, but not happy with the customer service I was given when I had reported the issue early and then again when it became a problem.
Andrei TBrandon did a great job with my cargo van rental. Huge improvement needed: The location needs on-site parking for customers who will be returning the rental vehicle the same day. It is really inconvenient and hazardous to park on Blackstone Avenue (a very busy street) or to park more than a block away in a declining, unsafe adjacent neighborhood.
THOMAS SStaffing was minimal which resulted in prolonged wait times. It turns out that the key drop was a good option during the day as well as the posted night time hours, but there was no signage to that effect. Staff was friendly and helpful. Reliance on apps and the customer's mobile device was not appreciated.

ROSANNA MNo urgency. They had four people in line and all three lanes were backed up. Only one person in the store and one person outside and neither of them increased their pace to match the situation.
HAROLD WDon’t change the drop off location on the customer after he picked up the rental. You changed it making me drive an extra 3 hours just to drop it off this was insane!! I paid for one way not there no partially back.

I understand that we need to make money to keep a business going, but maybe invest on labor so guest can have a better experience. After moving you don’t won’t to be waiting forever to return equipment . I would definitely take my dollar was it’s valued into their employees.. not the owners pocket. Great, job to those hard working staff. I know you guys are over worked, but definitely really tried to help.

There were only 2 employees who were trying their very best to help everyone as fast as possible, but it was impossible to go any faster than they were without any extra help. Several people inline walked out because the wait was so long.
JUDITH BFront tire was low but the technician fixed it. Also nobody showed me where anything was at so I didn't know how to adjust the mirrors. We were also extremely disappointed to find out after we got home that there was no ramp on the 10-ft trucks so the two motorized mobility scooters that we have we were not able to load since there were only two of us. We called the number provided to us and of course it was for the main customer service number and the representative said they would have somebody from the actual store that we rented from contact us but they didn't call for another hour and a half and by then we already have the truck half loaded.

GERALD LMy sister Diane was with me, and we worked together to rent the van. and deliver it back to this Fresno location. Everything was great until we arrived back to our hometown Fresno location. The appearance of the young lady at the front counter was disturbing: Openly Lgbt, purple/ pink short hair, multiple facial piercings (fangs in her upper lip). We don’t think she belongs at your wonderful company. We would suggest that Uhaul replace her with someone more professional, like the guy Ernesto (at the same location) that greatly assisted us with inspecting the returned van. Thank you for listening.
Deborah PMaybe check the trucks before they leave the yard after being siphoned for gas to make sure all the parts are on right and it won’t leak gas when they fill it up.

WILLIAMROBERT VWorkers were too preoccupied with their phones. I've rented alot of uhauls in the past months and these workers had to idea where the trailer was at. Didn't bother to look at my paperwork. They made me go from one side to the other side of the lot because they were too preoccupied talking to each other and being on their phones. 0/10 honestly.
CESAR RI reserved a 15ft truck and after waiting over 1 1/2hrs they didn't have it. I ended up getting a cargo van which caused extra trips, extra time, extra mileage and gas. What good is it to reserve a truck if they are just going to give it to someone else.

This was my first time renting a trailer and will have no worries if I have to go that route again……….thank you again….take care
KELLY HWe received the 20’ van rental and were advised that it was low on gas. We were offered a $50 discount since they do not have it filled with gas. We headed to the nearest gas station and the truck ran out of gas. We were stranded until we could get a gas canister to fill enough to get to the pump. This cost us an hour time and pushed our move back, causing us to work more in the heat of Fresno, with poor air quality as well. This is unacceptable and the workers there need to ensure there is at minimum a quarter of a tank of gas in every van or truck rented. Disappointing and very frustrating experience. Only in Fresno!

STEVEN JI had to wait in like fo a very long time. The truck was on empty when I picked it up. The store was out of Dollie’s. I won’t use U-Haul again. A huge inconvenience on my time.
DAVID DIt appeared that there was only two people that worked the counter and so people were standing in line in a long long line too long lines as a matter of fact and it takes forever to get through to be able to pick up your vehicle and get all the paperwork done even when you've done it on the app. When you have to take pictures before you leave that's just seems really stupid to me because if you don't want to use the app then apparently you can't rent anything because they want you to do all of their labor for them. I would not recommend U-Haul again if this is the way all U-Hauls are run.
PATRICK HMy only issue is I returned the trailer an hour prior to it being due and the CSR said it would be taken care of and I can go, but never did the turn in after I left, so UHAUL called and messaged me the next day saying I never turned the trailer in. I could not get a CSR on the phone at the 800# they left so the next morning, I called the location I rented from and the rep. said the turn in was never completed and that he would complete it. 2 hours later they emailed me a receipt. I will return because I have one more item to move. Hopefully things will go smooth.

JOHN WMy 1st experience didnt start so well as I stood in line 4 customers back and only 1 employee. He was running around doing the best he could but 2 employees called in sick with this flu thats getting everyone. He was the manager and wasn't scheduled to come in this morning and he was also not feeling great, BUT HE DID!! So good job! But at opening there really needs to be at least 2 employees for the morning rush or just make a little announcement explaining the situation. I wish I knew his name but he's the manager so that shouldn't be to hard to figure out. I apologize for being polite but snippy. I had people waiting on me. The whole experience was Simple, It would have been quick if the flu wasn't taking everyone down.
