She said that it was full. before the return, I bought gas. the total is 7.8 gallon for 70 miles. and the pointer is under the F. so I bought extra gas because of her, because the tank was not full during the reception. and I tried to explain the situation, she was so rude and she ignored my request.

Seth GreenThe installer, Siobhan, persisted and was able to complete the installation in spite of some initial concerns with the vehicle, as it was the first time doing this model car. After I told her that I had gotten assurance from corporate U-Haul that this hitch did in fact fit this car, she got assistance from other more experienced U-Haul employees and was able to complete the installation. I appreciated the team effort and attitude. Ideally there would be some kind of waiting area with chairs.

Boris Furmaneverything was good. people were helpful. first truck was in much better shape than the second truck. they charged me $20 to return the truck at night, $10 to take out a coke can. and wraper that was left from the previous rental. then charged me $23.75 for gas when i drove 76 miles and i added 9.3 gallons of gas. i asked and they told me that the truck got 10 miles per gallon so i paid for 93 miles of driving and should not be charged for fuel at an additional $23.75. i called the store and got a cold too bad for me answer. michael, not sure of name, made the good experience a bad experience. i will wait for a credit to my account, otherwise i will be forced to dispute the charges with my credit card.

regina silvastop renting out 20 year old trucks, like the one I got stuck with on Friday. Also, stop ripping off customers with fraudulant mileage readings at the start of a rental. When the mileage total at the end of the rental is questionable (in my case, about 45 miles based on where I went versus 76 miles according to UHaul) UHaul's Manager's defense is that I should have taken a photo of the odometer reading! Stay away from the Natick location.
robert watjenSatisfactory experience except the rented van was supposed to have a full tank of gas so that when I filled it just before returning I would be paying for the gas I used. Instead I ended up putting in 4 gallons of gas after driving just 15 miles. The dashboard mileage display showed the van was getting 15.3 miles per gallon, meaning I should have used just about 1 gallon, not 4. The initial check of the fuel gauge when first getting in the rental doesn't help when the gauge is a simple "E-1/2-F" dial and the needle is right by the F. It is nowhere near precise enough to gauge whether the tank is truly full, especially when you've been told by the clerk that the tank is full. I did not appreciate comping U-Haul 3 gallons of gas (about $10).
