Failed to discuss ALL charges or even ask if I wanted the insurance for the day, they just added it without my consent and reassured me it was 19.95 plus 89cents per mile when asking about how much I would be charged. So I concluded it would be approximately $30 and he reassured me it would bethe cost per day and milage, plus tax if I didn't go over the milage intended. Then tried to charge me $57 at drop off!! NOPE!!!! From now on, I will always be loyal to the guy on Gonzalez and Oxnard blvd.. I should have gone there and drove the extra 3 miles out of my way!!

Crystal FThe specific trailer I reserved for a 10 am pick up was not on the lot. I arrived at 10:15 to check in. But I had to wait for another 45 minutes to get the trailer I wanted. Though the staff was accommodating, this was an annoyance.
OSVALDO MI was charged for another day, my drop off time was 8 AM and I dropped it off at 7:49AM asked if I was all good when I handed the keys they said yes and I left then it was put that I dropped it off a few minutes after 8AM which they happily used to charge me for another day.
Colton SEasy reservation of truck online. plenty of moving supplies. They always have the bigger 20ft trucks.
Manuel DI wasn’t told how long the install would take and ended up stranded for almost 3 hours which I wasn’t expecting. Then once service was done I left and all of the warning lights were going off. I ended up going back to another location and they tried to figure out what the issue was but couldn’t. Wasted many hours which was frustrating.
Kara JOur reservation was made online for a different location in Oxnard and we pre-purchased some "retail" items. U-Haul changed the location to this location. When we arrived to pick up the truck, we were told that we would have to drive to the originally reserved location to get our "retail" items which we already paid for, AND which this location also had in stock. The purchase should have been automatically refunded by the original pick-up location or transferred to this location when U-Haul switched our pick-up.

Sean NAppreciate the ability to extend reservation and self-return until up to 8:00 on a Sunday! I was able to get two trips instead of just one.
Aaron EThe interior was clean and inviting. For me the exterior felt like I had to maneuver around other vehicles or towing trailers to rent. This made it feel not inviting to me. This could just be from having too much supply at one time. I’m grateful that I could return my vehicle to this location as it was a convenient location for me.
Kristina WMy original rental was from the Newbury Park site and it was VERY DISAPPOINTING to arrive for after-hours pick up and them not having the truck reserved. No one called me from that office to tell me. I learned this by waiting on hold for a company rep to help me figure this out decently late at night. So I had to drive roughly 20 mile FURTHER to pick up from this Oxnard site. Things there were better in that the truck needed was available. I asked the rep who helped me competently and patiently...apologizing for this happening...and she gave me a number to call when I asked for some type of 'compensation' for this. I called that rep the next morning and the 'best' she could do was offer $50 back. She mentioned 79 cents a mile too but felt this was better. Honestly, I have done business with the NP site and unfortunately, will not again...once bitten, twice shy! Also, realizing mistakes happen, but this was moderately unpleasant due to time and inconvenience...I would appreciate even a bit more in the way of 'we are sorry for this' compensation. Not greedy, just a customer that has been consistent. The first nighttime rep was WONDERFUL in every way. The Oxnard site rep was GREAT too! NP, pretty disappointed!

Mayra JI use the trailer and try to leave it in other location and they told me that I had to pay $5502 usd as a fee charges for leaving it in that location so I call to this location in oxnard and they gave another quantity it was $3200 because they state the trailer belongs to this especific location, What’s the point on renting the equipment if they are going to charge me with an a crazy amount. Not good at all.

WESLEY WProbably the best U-haul location around. I've rented from here a couple of times and had a hitch installed. All three times were smooth. I also love that they have so many different types of trailers and trucks to choose from.
