Alfred MI was in the room with 3 other customers for 15 minutes before anyone was even in the center to help (after telling someone outside we were waiting). Two of the service reps went at a very slow pace and looked checked out. Then one woman came in after 30 minutes who looked and acted like she knew what she was doing and things went much faster.

WUNG TI am very disappointed that I was charged an additional $24. When I first picked up the truck, the employee who helped me was very professional and told me the fuel level was at half a tank. However, when I checked the truck before leaving, it actually had only a quarter tank of gas. I took a photo as proof before driving away. When I returned the truck, I filled it back to the same quarter-tank level and took another photo. I showed both pictures to the employee who accepted the return and explained that the truck did not have half a tank when I received it. Unfortunately, he did not pay attention to what I was saying. He simply said, “Okay, okay, just go,” without checking the truck or reviewing the photos I was trying to show him.
ALIIA AThe truck was not clean and not drivable when I got it. The low tire pressure check engine lights were on and giving me an alert that said “low oil pressure, stop engine”. the location was closed so I called support who told me not to drive the truck and set me up with a truck at another location. I returned the truck on the app and did not drive it, but the location charged me for an extra day as well as the mileage I did not drive and for gas.
AMELIA WThe truck had dry wall debris throughout the back that was not cleaned out. Smelled like a dirty mop that was smeared with drywall all over the floor. The customer service and friendliness just isn't there at this location. Ironically I used to work at this exact location. Next time my family will use another company this isn't it.
Huechee YDue to poor quality combination locks I was unable to even open the hatch, making my entire trip a waste of time and money. I tried to call in to the store to verify the code, but as always was completely unable to obtain the quick answer I sought. U-Haul has wasted too much of my time. Every time I use it has been a nightmare full of preventable, easily fixed mistakes, being not fixed due to being unable to get in contact with a real human being
NOAH ZI have pictures, but noticed while towing that the surge brakes DID NOT WORK, and upon inspection, found the piston boot broken and everything inside the boot was seized and rusted meaning it's been like that for a LONG time, tried telling supervisor onsite but they could care less, wrecked the brakes on my personal truck, I think I will be getting state patrol involved and have them investigate this location as this was UNACCEPTABLE.
Vince JDid not get receipt or closure. Yes it is convenient to drop and walk out. But a check in receipt and check of miles should be done promptly.

ETHAN WTire had low air pressure and engine oil was low. I called in to alert customer service before taking the truck. When I returned it and mentioned this, the employee said they knew about the issues with this truck and just poured oil in it a few days ago. Still sent it out like that though… wild choice.

David PThe pick up wasn't great. The clerk (and I) had some issues with getting info for the pick up. As always there was a line to get through as there was only this one clerk and there didn't appear to be anyone helping customers out with getting their trucks and trailers. I was charged the insurance coverage even though I declined it on my re-scheduling and didn't sing or approve for it. The drop off was much better. Closest U-Haul to me so have expected the lines and somewhat poor service.
Jim OLocation was good. Truck had laundry soap all over back that had to be cleaned out before we could put our belongings in. Mopping up soap is a pain. Reservation of truck was a complete nightmare - we were switched to this location very last minute.
CHARITY KJeramiah provided the most excellent help of all. He is a true asset to the company. It was a very busy Monday, so I can understand that patience is thin. My overall experience was positive.
Floyd HOpen on time. Not an hour and a half late. I had to call the customer service who said they would contact the manager and have someone onsite as soon as they could. The truck that I was supposed to use was buried 3 trucks in. And vomit on the steps to the truck. Popcorn on the floor in the cab. I have photos. Staff were rude and one literally tried to stare me down when I made a complaint. Awful. Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner. ~
AMY BDetails online were different than what the location actually offered, such as no 24 hour rentals despite the online site that the location could do so. Unclear communication on what would be charged during and after use of the UHaul

Minh TThe fact that the website was down at 8 am which was my pickup time and caused a major backup. I had to be out of my apartment by 10am and i didn’t even get my truck until 9:15. Then when I got to my destination there was a padlock on the back of the truck causing another delay. My movers had another job to get to so I ended up doing most of my move alone from a third floor apartment. Then when I returned the truck I was charged for insurance that I didn’t ask for and equipment I didn’t rent. I was able to get 45$ back but the entire thing should have been taken care of. I lost money on movers I lost about 2 hours of my time just getting a truck I had RESERVED. And I had to do half by myself I almost passed out and was so nauseous I could hardly make it to the storage facility. What an absolute nightmare thanks uhaul!!
ASHLEE BIt took the gentleman a half hour to get us checked out and I had made reservations online. Training on typing would be very helpful. I also smelled a strong odor of marijuana that made me nauseous. The worst service I received anywhere in many years.

Carla FIt was total chaos. Staff had very poor communication. We had to go back after we drove off in the truck because we didn’t have the code to the padlock. When we went back to get it, the staff person was really rude. And there was no way to get a person on the phone to avoid us driving back. Very poor customer service.
KARI AI want to let you know. When we walked in a guy name Quincey was NOT customer friendly. While setting up for the truck he was laughing and very great time with his co-worker. He would talk to me like a robot. Take a right, Walk down and you will find your truck. WHY are you working with customers and you don't like being around them?! I wouldn't go to rent while he is there. Mean!! And I gone to this location for a long at time.
Marcella NThis location is consistently unprofessional. Service is really slow snd the employees argue in front of the customers. This has been my experience two visits in a row. Equipment has been very dirty on both occasions.
ERROL TThe vehicle provided was in poor condition and appeared to have significant maintenance issues. The engine warning light was illuminated throughout the rental period, the vehicle made unusual noises, and it was difficult to drive safely and comfortably. Additionally, the vehicle was provided with less than a half tank of fuel, yet I was charged for a full tank upon return. I also reserved the vehicle for a 24-hour period but was incorrectly charged for two full days. Furthermore, the overall customer service experience was unsatisfactory. There were unnecessary delays during both the check-in and check-out processes, which caused inconvenience and reflected a lack of professionalism. Given these issues, I believe the charges applied to my rental are unjustified and request a prompt review, correction of the billing errors, and appropriate compensation for the poor condition of the vehicle and the inadequate service provided.
abdi HCar trailer I rented had issues with the turn lights after I was told they were fine when it was hooked up. The tire tie down strap mechanism was so rusted it wouldn’t work so I had to use my own. I will not be rent a trailer again here.
Jordan SI original location for pick up was an absolute disaster. The location was a dump of a gas station with a non English speaking cashier who was of no help. Just awful experience

Dek WStaff at this location are always very friendly and efficient. If the equipment I need is available here it is where I prefer to rent trailers.
David VThe counter staff was nice and tried to help. The person working the yard was not. His attitude was poor and service was worse. Completely unacceptable. It took 30 minutes to leave the location after I finalized the contract and was given the keys. The interior of the truck was also filthy.

Kathleen SI literally just pulled in and the 2 guys lining up the trucks said "just leave the keys in the cup holder and we'll take it from here. Super easy and I wasn't charged for anything extra except the 3 miles I went over (1.10 per mile). Very Happy with the result though.

Kevin CThis may be the system more than the location, but we had trouble setting up a one-way move to Silver Bay without returning equipment to Duluth, an hour away. Silver Bay had no issues taking our equipment from us.

Kevin PI reserved online and when I got to the U-Haul center, I received timely service from the counter and assistance on hooking up the trailer to my vehicle. When I returned the trailer, I also got timely service from the counter. The trailer was in good condition and clean when I received it. The new latching system for towing ball is pretty easy to operate, which was nice because I need to detach and relink the connection a couple of times over the weekend.
David FOur U-Haul U-POD experience was perfect until it arrived at the U-Haul St Paul location. After that it was a disaster. Your 200 character limit makes is impossible to list the screw-ups. NEVER AGAIN!
