La prise en charge du véhicule fut rapide et fluide et les explications claires cependant la remise des clés du camion fut plus compliqué. Ls indications données pour rendre le camion ne fonctionnait pas: application / assistance. Ma réservation était inexistante lorsque je tentais de me connecter. Cela a fait en sorte que j'ai mis plus de temps à rendre mon camion.

I did my rental on May 11 , 2026 for my moving day on July 1st, for a pick up at 5 am with the self pickup service. I arrived at this location Crémazie ouest a 4:50 Am on July 1st and nothing was working (I tried looking on YouTube to see how to do the self pick up, scan QR code on the vans in the parking lot,) .. the app was saying to contact the client assistance which I did, they said the self up was not available since the location was only opening at 7 am .. THAN WHY ALLOWING CLIENTS TO HAVE ACCESS TO PICKUP BEFORE THE OPENING HOURS!? one of the guy on site moving the trucks didn’t want to help us and was super rude! Not only that I wasn’t the only one in that situation. The store manager was not even at the location on the BUSIEST DAY OF THEIR BUSINESS.. MOVING DAY! This is unacceptable as the store manager should be on site early to support his employees and I want a compensation ($$$) refund for not being able to provide the service I paid for!

The costumer service is so bad. The employee are not really answering questions well. I had a U-Haul truck blocking the one I rented and I had to go twice to complaint before one of the employee moved it. Also when I returned it, I asked how to return it and the employee inside were like ask the one outside and the one outside was like ask the one inside. No cohesion

When i reserve equipment with Uhaul, i expect it to be available in the pick up moment. When i show up and your employee tell me in a cold tone that the diablo lift is not available, although i already reserved it, Uhaul betrays me. The trailer is useless to me without the diablo lift (if it wasnt for luck when a customer returned one). Then when i ask your employee to find a solution for me, he tells me rudely to call customer service and refuses to own the problem, refused also to acknowledge he represents the brand. I will no longer rely on you or do business with you. Teach your employees to address the clients properly and with respect. Im not his buddy to address me casually. Teach them to own the problem. And do not sell me an item that wont be available when i show up to pick it up. You waste my time and gas.

There are better priced units of that size available elsewhere. for what I needed it for, it did the job but i'd probably pick somewhere with far less traffic and less mice. I've been picking rodent droppings out of my belongings since i've left the facility

La file d’attente était longue, nous sommes arrivés une demi-heure à l’avance de l’heure de notre réservation, mais le service était excellent, un peu lent mais le personnel répondait aux questions et s’assurait que l’on comprenait bien. Pour ce qui est le camion, La porte du côté conducteur ne pouvait pas s’ouvrir avec la clé, il fallait aller du côté passager pour avoir accès. Aussi, les miroirs bougeaient à chaque fois que le camion roulait sur une bosse et il fallait les recadrer manuellement, ça s’était un peu fatigant.

Rented open trailer. Could have provided used straps to tie down / secure item being transported. You could take a deposit on straps to ensure their return. I had to figure that part out for myself. Cost me unnecessary time & $$.

Have the equipment ready at the time it was rented. We had an 8 hour drive and had rented the truck for 9a.m. I was told the day before moving that it would only be ready at 3p.m. It negatively affected our plans.

Samir on the phone line was excellent was able to find me a truck quickly at this location. The uhaul in Laval on 13 lied to me I reserved a truck 21' over a month ago when I went to pick it up no truck and I had movers from uhaul app coming in an hr. And movers waiting in Ottawa. So stressful.

Customer service was the only thing I would recommand, somewhat. The employees did what they could in the condition they had to work with. Waiting was super long, it wwas hard to know where to go when it was time to return the van. The parking was blocked because there was too many returns at once and nowhere to move them. Van had pieces we had to give the desk before leaving. And overall, we had reserved a 15' truck over a month in advance and Uhaul's policy isnt made clear and we were told our reservation was moved on the 23rd, without being consulted. People plan moves around a truck réservation, we cant just change our plans like that.

Excellent service à la clientèle, autant au téléphone que sur place. Prix très raisonnable. Équipement en bon état et propre, sauf un élément : de l'eau est rentrée dans le devant de la boîte du camion, pendant une nuit de fortes pluies, de sorte que quelques-unes de nos boîtes ont été mouillées. Cela dit, le reste de l'équipement était A1 : camion, rampe, diable à électroménagers, chariot à roulette, couvertures. On retournera assurément chez UHaul pour ce type de location.

L'application pour effectuer le retour seul fonctionne plutôt mal. Il a fallut que je recommence le processus à 5 reprises. J'me suis particulièrement battu avec la prise de photos. Elles étaient refusées pour une raison inconnue. J'ai du recommencer cette étape fastidieuse à 3 reprises. À améliorer!

Ça prenait environs 10 minutes par client) J'ai attendu au moins 45 minutes pour prendre possession d'un trailer réservé bien en avance. L'employé a dû refaire le contrat, etc... Et j'ai eu la chance d'être tôt le matin. Après moi, le temps d'Attente devait être de plus d'une heure. Faites attention à vos employés : ce sont votre plus importante ressource et, de ce que j'ai vu samedi, ils sont tous prêts à quitter votre entreprise...

Very disappointing experience. I booked online for 10:00 AM on May 31st and arrived at 9:50, only to find a line of 15 people. To my astonishment, there was no separate line for reservations — despite completing everything in advance, I waited 90 minutes and didn't get my truck until 11:30. The process was extremely inefficient. Every customer spent 10–15 minutes at the counter, and even my own checkout took 10 minutes just for a signature, even though my entire profile was pre-filled and I used the U-Haul app. On top of that, the dolly I had reserved was no longer available, and the truck itself was a mess, with broken glass in the storage compartment. Worst rental experience I've had. I would not recommend.

Améliorer le contrôle de vos véhicules pour ne pas donner des véhicules avec des dommages à vos clients et ne pas les accuser ensuite d'avoir causé les dommages, ça ressemble à une arnaque. J’ai eu une très mauvaise expérience avec cet établissement. On m’a donné un camion qui était bloqué entre deux autres camions, donc impossible de le sortir. Quand je suis retourné au comptoir pour expliquer le problème, un employé a refusé de me parler correctement et m’a simplement dit de voir avec la personne qui avait fait mon contrat. Cette personne était introuvable. Quand j’ai demandé qui était le responsable, l’employé a d’abord refusé de me le dire, puis il a fini par me l’indiquer. Le responsable a finalement changé mon contrat, mais c’est moi qui ai dû aller vérifier le numéro du camion stationné dehors, comme si je travaillais pour eux. À cause de tout cela, j’ai perdu environ 30 minutes sur ma réservation et je suis arrivé en retard à mon rendez-vous. Je ne reviendrai jamais dans cet établissement et je ne le recommande pas

I reserved a 10x15 online, and when I arrived they had no 10x15s available. The access card I was given didn’t work, and the office was closed for the night. Luckily a staff heard me banging on the office door and came out to help me after hours. He couldn’t get the card to work but gave me a manual code. Overall staff was excellent but management seems terrible.

D’abord les ‘étages étaient listés et affichés comme suit: Rez de chaussée,1er étage, 2ème étage et 3ème étage tant au niveau de l’ascenseur que celui des étages. J’étais au 2ème étage et en voulant payer ils me chargent 10$ de plus me disant qu’à partir du 3ème étage on charge les frais de climatisation et qu’en réalité le 2ème étage est en fait le 3ème étant donné que c’est le système américain. Somme nous au Québec ou aux USA? Et ces frais n’étaient même pas affichés sur les unités en question. Je trouve ça déplorable et je vais faire suite.

La cour était difficile à circuler. Stationnement des véhicules qui bloquent la circulation et mal stationnés. J'ai terminé ma location 5 jours avant la date et aucune remise pour le temps non utilisé. Comme je l'ai laissé libre vous pouvez le relouer immédiatement, donc une double location. Je trouve que ce n'est pas du bon service à la clientèle et de l'abus de votre part. En agissant de cette façon vous contrevenez à la protection du consommateur.

Seul bémol : le box est vraiment loin de l'ascenseur. Mais c'était le seul box disponible et je me considère comme chanceux. Et il n'y avait pas de chariot disponible à notre arrivée. My only constructive criticism is about the limited access at times to park in front of storage doors and the lack of carts and/or respect from other tenants not returning the carts where they belong so someone else can use them. The storage staff is not friendly. Have to wait long times to get things resolved. Secondly some people who take the storage they put big appliances in the corridors and never move them. It become very hard to move your stuff. There was another junkee next to my storage who always blocked my way, and for that reason i had to change my storage to another level. J'ai réservé un espace 15 jours à l'avance pour être certain d'avoir celui-ci lors du déménagement, mais celui-ci n'était pas disponible. On m'a proposé un espace similaire, mais plus cher. J'avais pourtant ma facture de la réservation, mais le préposé a refusé d'honorer le prix de l'unité que j'avais réservé. Il s'agit de publicité trompeuse. N'utilisez pas le service de réservation par internet. Assurez-vous de voir le casier avant de le louer, car il font du surbooking, vous vous retrouvez coincé et devez accepter de payer plus cher pour avoir une supposée bonification de l'espace de rangement.

Staff was rude and unhelpful. I asked if I could see the size of the locker before renting it and they refused. Then they wanted to charge me extra and said it’s because their prices changed and then when i showed them the reservation I made online they made me do the process on my phone instead. It was a waste of time. Location is dirty and not well maintained. An outhouse is cleaner than their bathrooms.

For using this storage facility for over 2 years.. the price increase is outrages.. I was forced to take a bigger unit after making a reservation online which has not been respected by the employees and blamed the system when I had my proof. Ended up costing me way more on the long run. I could not change for a smaller unit later because it would be time consuming and i had heavy stuff. At least if there was a price adjustments offered for all those months but no, many increases of course.. if I ever need a storage again I will not go back there nor recommend to anyone.

Overall good experience over the past 7 years. However in the past year there seemed to be strange activities happening in my account. I didn't live in Montréal which made it difficult to resolve as I would call there wasn't English staff available who could fully understand me. Move out was very smooth and it's a great location as it's near a metro station.

The particular rental unit I had has a giant fan / air exchanger type machine blocking the space up above about 6 ft. The wall showed the signs that there was water damage in the past. For me there was no issue but if I wanted to rent longer with more belongings to store, I wouldn't be comfortable with that unit. Otherwise I cannot complain about the employees or services.

L’employé Mamoudou Diallo était plus qu’incompétent. Il nous a fait perdre plus de 45 minutes avec ses bêtises. Il ne savait aucunement ce qu’il faisait. Jamais ne s’est-il même excusé. Sincèrement dans le top 3 de mes pires expériences de service À VIE. Ca me fait tout de même de très bonnes histoires à raconter qui sont maintenant hilarantes ; bien que sur place, c’était loin d’être drôle.

On a réservé un espace de location un mois et demi à l’avance. Lorsqu’on est arrivé, on s’est fait dire qu’il n’y avait aucun espace de cette taille. On a donc du payé plus cher pour un espace plus grand. Votre compagnie est très décevante. Je ne la recommanderais pas à personne. D’ailleurs, on a aussi eu des problèmes pour la location du camion. Sans nous prévenir, ils nous ont changé le lieu où il fallait récupérer le camion et le nouveau était à 1h15 de distance. La compagnie n’a rien fait pour nous dédommager dans les 2 cas. C’était la pire expérience de déménagement.

This is my second time getting storage in Uhaul. Staff not trained at all. Front desk very non professional. They dont have knowledge about what they are doing. Not friendly and not customer oriented. I expect much better service from a company who is leader in this business. But unfortunately customer service is below standards.

Thé website for online reservations works however is problematic when trying to make a payment or upload ID. When trying to reach the location, i kept getting transferred to the central. The people I spoke to (3 people at 3 different times) could not reach the Cremazie location either. No one at the location was logged onto the chat even though it was during hours of operation. It took me over 2.5 hours of calling and waiting to finally be able to upload my ID which was already on file (the system wouldn’t recognize it) and process payment. I received no help from anyone. Then when I got to the location, a padlock was in the locker I had rented. I had to wait in line in order to get someone to give me access to my new unit. (I was transferring from a large unit to a smaller unit. I’ve been a customer at this location for 13 months.) Not to mention I was provided with the managers email address in order to request help and he never responded to my email. Overall, below average service. It’s disappointing.

I booked a 10' x 10' storage unit in advance. When I came to the facility on the moving day I was told that the unit I booked is not available and I can only get a smaller one (5' x 5 or 5' x 8'). I chose a 5' x 8' one, finalized the deal and went to check the unit to find out that it has a massive concrete pillar right in the centre (it's part of the building that just happened to be inside the unit that I was given). The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, but I would not recommend anyone using U-Haul storage services because of poor reliability. Everything could have been handled in advance by a simple phone call.

Deux fois jai demander avoir accès 24h et les 2 fois ils mont dit que c'était correct et évidement j'ai jamais eu accès 24h. On m'a même donner un mois gratuit la première fois pour l'inconvénient et le mois d'après la même chose. Pas accès 24h. Et le service est tjrs long. Des fils d'attente alors non l'attitude de votre personnel ne me ferai pas recommencer votre entreprise.

A l’arrivée, il est écrit no parking partout mais il faut bien prendre le temps de débarquer notre marchandise et aller au locker. De plus, nous avons parlé à un employé qui ne nous a pas vraiment accompagner dès le début, info de base mais comme elle savait que c’était notre première visite, elle aurait dû nous dire que l’on devrait passer au bureau récupérer un cadenas puisqu’une fois arrivée au locker c’était barré, pas de service avec lintercom pour joindre un employé, j’ai dû retourner au bureau à l’entrée, pas d’employé dans le bureau d’entrée, bref vraiment pas efficace et adéquat. Déception pour un premier contact.

Les modalités de paiement devraient être plus conviviales. Par deux fois on m'a chargé des frais de paiement en retard. La première, je n'ai pas réussi à payer par internet et je n'étais pas à l'aise de fournir mes données sur le cellulaire de quelqu'un. La deuxième, le commis a mal pris les données de la carte et elle n'a pas passé. On attend beaucoup trop au comptoir ou au téléphone, je vais choisir une autre localisation.

The staff are fairly rude to customers. The organization of the drop off and move out is chaotic and un-managed. Granted its busy during peak times of the month there is still a level of customer service required when people are spending a lot of money with your company, even if they aren't. In a time when money is tight for most people and they are spending less, I would imagine that customer retention is high on the priority list for most if not all companies. I will not be renting trucks with U-haul any longer nor storing anything in their facilities.There are many companies that would be happy to have the business. By the way this is my fourth rental this year, one of them being for a cross provincial move. I have been left with a bad taste from my experiences at this point and will be sharing my experiences with friends, family and public. This review will also be copy and pasted to various U-haul outlets in particular the storage facility, and also google.

Très déçue du format de l'entrepôt. Avec les moulures à gauche de mon entrepôt, ça ne faisait pas du tout un format de 5x7 et je n'ai pas pu rentrer tout ce que je voulais à cause du 2 pouces qu'il manquait. Donc ce n'est pas représentatif. Les mesures données du locker devrait être réellement l'espace disponible à l'intérieur et ce n'était pas le cas.
