I have been trying to call customer service since Friday to complain about the service I received from UHaul. I will NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. The manager at the location did not have the truck I requested. I compromised and accepted a smaller truck. Then, I requested a drop off truck when I called to change my initial service request. They did not have note of it. So I spent an extra $300 I did not have to bring back a truck, which my 60 year old mother had to end up doing because of the store managers rude and confrontational demeanor. If we did not have movers planned, we would have walked out. He got our order wrong and had the audacity to charge us nearly $300 more to bring back the truck 2 1/2 hours. The worst service ever and we (and our friends and family) will never again use. I will be making a more detailed BBB complaint and write a more formal letter of complaintSylvia G.

Same day rental. Equipment was clean and available. Store was well stocked and well staffed. Was very happy with my entire encounter.Carl B.
Could not use 24hr return online. There was a glitch that would not let me put the initial mileage in. It took 1hr and 45 minutes before I finally got a representative on the line to verify my return. And it still doesn't reflect me turning the truck in the same day.Kimberly G.
Since I had to go to 3 different locations to pick up the things I needed I had 3 different orders. When I arrived at the turn in location I was told he could take the truck and the pads but I had to return the dolly down the road about 1/2 a mile because he couldn't accept it there? Why not? He didn't know what to do for me so I had him cancel the return and I took it down to the other location U-Haul at Barksdale and returned everything. The person running this ace was so understanding and professional. He listened and was able to take care or everything. Very professional. I only wish my pickup and 1st return location i tried were this helpful. He should be a double bonus!JOHN L.

Please make sure trucks are available if one U-Haul is requesting a truck because they don't have one for customer for whatever reason. Payment should be discussed with customer afterwards for drop off. Too many problems with taking money for nothing.Celia W.
I scheduled my pickup at a closer location via mobile check in. My location and check in was changed, and I was not notified by U-Haul of these changes. When I spoke to the representative, he said "we were busy yesterday". Poor customer service, zero communication regarding changes. I had to drive further, making me have to pay more for miles. Went to return truck at rented location. A young lady behind the counter...not in uniform looking like she was high off of some type of drugs didn't ask hiw can she help me...asked me did I have an iphone charger that she can use. I told her no and then told the manager that I was there to return a truck. He told her to go out check the check and asked myself and my husband to walk out with her while she checked the truck. We gave her the keys and walked out with her...she then told him to get in dont the signals, brakes, lights, windshield wipers so on and so forth. I told her I said that we never had to this when returning a truck. She was checking the tires hitting them with a stick and say...im just doing my job which she wasn't aware of...I asked a simple question can we just leave the key was trying to make my daughter graduation...she started mumbling..so we went in to the manager and asked can he finish the process we had somewhere important to be...she walked in saying I had a attitude. We then told her no I didnt just wanted to drop off a truck and didn't have to check all of that when we picked up the truck. Manager then asked me what I did for a living (which wasn't his business). He then had her to go out and get milage...she brought the hand machine in to him where she had said that we had damages, truck needed maintenance and gas. Which was true. She said oh my bad. Out of all the years of renting uhauls this was the worst experience EVER. I will not be going back to this located whatsoever.Kimberly H.
Uhaul quote tool allowed me to select a different location originally - I only found out my pickup location had been moved when I called the 1800 # a couple of days before pick up to confirm. Why let me select a location that doesn't have the equipment in the first place ? Staff was very helpful at this location however.Caleb D.

The truck was clean and equipped as asked but the engine would suddenly rev up to around 3,000 rpm without input. Happened both times with no furniture but if not reacted to immediately could easily cause an accident or damage to cargo. Staff was informed on return. I like this location despite this one truck malfunction.James M.

Ensure the gas cap is on. When I pulled out from the uhaul place I drove down airline drive with people honking at me to stop because gas was pouring out the side. I pull over and the gas cap is off. So I'm losing gas and I also got a $12 charge for gas and I'm not sure why. I put the gas hand back where it was even though gas was spilled all down airline drive because they forgot to cap the gas. So I guess maybe a walk thru before driving off should take place.Joann G.

Do not depend on the U-Haul online reservation system. It inaccurately recorded our request and the availability of the vehicle desired. Directly contact the rental location. The manager of the rental location worked with us to help us stay within our time constraints and provided another vehicle for the price of the one requested.Alicia W.

We dropped the trailer off and the employee didn't acknowledge us so we just left. We forgot to leave the cord so I went back the next day. The gentleman that was there didn't acknowledge me outside, he didn't say anything until he walked into the building and around the counter. The location also had to many items cramped into for the size of the building.ALICIA J.
I had to wait an hour at the location to get the keys. Website made me check the vehicle out online and when it got to the point where "go inside and pick up my keys" the door was locked and a sign stating they were on break until 3 was on the door FACING INSIDE. Only reason we could read it was because it was written in permanent marker on plain white paper so it bled through. Someone then exited through the garage and walked pass us. We tried to say we just needed the keys and he just responded "I'm on break" while he kept walking. I called the corporate number and was on hold for 30 mins until the man came back and opened the door. When I went to grab the keys it was a 15 second encounter. By the time I departed the location I was an hour behind schedule. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.Tyler H.
