Came at close to drop off but everything was good!

It’s been 3 days still haven’t gotten my damage deposit back, on debit cause the other guy, didn’t know how to do it, and there wasn’t a supervisor in at the time

I thought I had scheduled online a drop off at a location 8h away from Calgary (Kelowna, BC)! It turns out that perhaps during page refreshing, the online booking system automatically assumed I wanted to drop the unit off at the same location. This was not the case. I did not pay attention (I should have not trusted your system) and drove 8h to where I needed to be. I had no idea U-haul had in town units and out of town units, and nobody reminded me of this or that I had to drop off the unit at the same place where I picked it up. In any case, when I went to the U-haul drop off place in the city 8h away from Calgary (Kelowna, BC), I was told that I had to drive back to Calgary and was threatened with an 800 dollar plus bill if I did not. I spoke with three different people at customer service both in the US and Canada and no help was provided. As a result I had no choice but to drive back another 8h to return the unit in the middle of the night. It was a horrible experience all around. Customer service was a disaster. I will avoid U-haul going forward. Good companies do not treat customers this way. They know better. I am so disappointed! I rate the service withi a 0 out of 10. I will post this in social media. I take some of the responsibility for not paying attention and trusting your modus operandi.

Hire more staff, or have more people working on such busy days. The staff that were in were all great, but given the volume of customers, extra staff would have made for a smoother experience for all involved

The price charged did not match the advertised amount. Instead of the $49 that was promoted, the total cost ended up being nearly double. Not included: mileage, insurance etc.

Thank you to the gentleman who helped get going quickly after a truck swap requirement due a tire issue. He also checked me in at the end of the day - great service and so nice and considerate of my time schedule. Sorry I didn’t catch his name. Sweet sunglasses too. Thanks again!

truck was not clean, the truck had lots of dash lights on and the breaks were soft. The engine was really loud and rough.

My pick up location was changed which resulted in additional charge for mileage. It’s ridiculous that the extra mileage would not be refunded after talking to the traffic department. This must be how they make their money. Give people locations that are far from the requested location and charge them for it.

A mix up occurred for my pick up. This location had been changed to a different pick up location without me knowing. The staff at this location, especially the young woman on shift on Thursday July 23 at 6pm was super awesome! She quickly reset the pick up location, got us a very clean, practically new truck and got us on our way with minimal delay. She was awesome!

I was at the location today because I was told the appliance dolly I rented on the 24th of July was not returned… I only used it for 2 hours. I just wanted my deposit back. . When I went in I found out they believed I did not return the other normal dolly I rented 3 days before. I had no idea. I just knew I did not get my deposit back on either dolly- I was told it would come back automatically from a barely present employee but I had to go in to the location to make this happen- they never checked either dolly in. I got everything back but this seems particularly irresponsible in my opinion

Was originally given an estimate of 3 hrs. It ended up taking 4.5 hrs. I had arranged to have a 4/5/7 pin vehicle end adapter kit wired and installed. The installer wired in a 4 pin and simply handed me the part after the install was complete. I was still charged for the labour on it. The worst part is we had this installed on a brand new, 7 day old vehicle and when we got it home we discovered a number of paint chips around the rear hatch. Overall completely unsatisfactory job and lines us up to now spend more to get it done correctly and fix the paint chips.

Very friendly, helpful and quick staff. I was concerned because we had rented here before and had problems with bad staff. But every thing went great and the process was much more streamlined.

There were only 2 people on duty when I dropped off. The woman was busy with another customer and told me to flag down the other guy if I saw him. He came along, looked at my contract, went out and took a look at the truck and said I was good to go. Very quick and easy.

Excellent customer service however the driver door needs adjustment when closing or the driver panel showed an error.

They need to clean their trucks much better. The glove box was full of garbage. The storage under the muddle seat was dirty. The windshield was full of bugs and wasn't cleaned on the inside. The mirrors weren't cleaned.

There was a long line to get the trailer and U-Haul did not provide an adapter from their 4flat plug tot he 7 blade. Also the trailer left turn signal wouldn't work for some of the time I had it, then started working again during the haul. Everyone was very considerate and helpful.

There is a shortage of parking on the street so allowing customers to park on the vacant property to north would be a benefit for customers.

The vehicle had less than a 1/4 tank of gas which was very inconvenient as I then had to get gas right away which delayed what I needed to do. I asked them to fill it up or give me another one but they would not. I was just told to bring it back with the same amount in it which is very difficult to do. A full tank is way easier to bring back the same way. It also was very loud and a bit clunky. I used to drive cube vans and 5 tons for a living and they were never as loud and clunky as this one. I get that many people drive it and that can add to it but this one was worse than others I have rented from you.

Vehicle fuel gauge wasn’t working properly unfortunately tank been over filled more than It should staff didn’t redound for the extra money that been paid for fuel and vehicle mechanical condition wasn’t good

Very friendly staff and the location is perfect for what we need the truck for. The only issue I had with the truck was the air conditioner was not working. Not really an issue, and I know they can go in a moments notice. Other than that the vehicle was very clean and well maintained.

The car hauler trailers are great, just make sure you check the tire pressures when you pick the trailer up. The last two time I've rented from here one or more of the tires had low pressure.

The store manager dealt with us poorly when checking in, even gave us a truck with a check engine light on and insisted it would be fine. The manager, Kirsty, was very dismissive and unhelpful after booking with this location for weeks.

To be honest, I was nervous because I’ve never had to move anything before - every single person was the kindest most helpful person. My experience was amazing. I now love you all.

The morning pick up of the van was very pleasant. The drop off experience wasn't as pleasant. It felt a bit chaotic. And, my copy of the contract issued in the morning showed a kilometer rate of $1.09 and the billed rate was $1.19.. It does not work out to a lot of money but it is annoying.

There was a lack of coordination between the desk and the individual who helped hook up the trailer. The individual also let us drive away with the trailer hooked up too low, which we later had to shift. The drop off process was also uncoordinated with no one being at the quick return station. We had to back up the trailer wherever we could and then wait for a long time to confirm its return.

THE DELIVERY GUYS I PAID FOR NEVER SHOWED!!! Such a scam I will be calling for a refund for that part - UHaul needs to remove NorthStar movers from their options. They were rude and unprofessional and made every excuse and then just no-showed. This location on its own was excellent but the movers were absolutely a scam and I am so unimpressed.

We are first time client on this location and kind of unfamiliar with the process as well as running a 15’ van. However, Haji was so helpful making it a smooth process from picking up and dropping off the vehicle. He did beyond customer expectations! Also, Semina has that great customer service smile! I would definitely recommend this location!

This was the best Uhaul experience I ever had. From pick up to return both gals that assisted me were absolutely outstanding - friendly, competent and efficient. They made the transition smooth and simple. It's not often you see service like this these days so when you do, it stands out!

The customer service and the transactional experience was excellent. It took a minute to get the car and half a minute to just drop it off. No waiting in line, no waste of time. They even brought the truck in the front and it was super smooth. The quality of the truck itself was really bad. The engine was completely worn out hardly able to pick up any speed. Engine light was on. Brakes were nearly gone too. I felt very uneasy driving the vehicle which I think should have been retired long ago.
