This truck was horrible and dangerous to drive in heavy rain with 194k miles, it took twice for the truck to start each time it was time to go, had to pull over as the windshield wipers were bad and could not see, then the truck was losing escalation in the rain. It took 1hour and 30 minutes and using 3 different cellphones to complete after hour check in. Glove compartment was broke and set in our helper lap. The black lady- Manager that Registered us in was talking about her family business out loud on the phone as she was dispatching us- 3 of us heard this conversation- truly unprofessional. I called yesterday to share my concerns and was told the manager would call me back, no response as of today. Truly unhappy with this experience and hope the truck we drove is taken out of the fleet for safety reason.Elaine G.

I had a reservation in a diferent location as it was getting closer to my pick up time I get a call that they wouldn't supply me with a truck and a trailer so the operator informed me available location is at camp wisdom that is 20 miles away that is not good to begin with u hall should kept the promise this happen 2 times. Previous day they book me at the same time I called and I was cheated for one hour and ended paying it bad practice i did mention it and they wouldn't help and I got cheated. The fact that we have to do Uhaul's job is ridiculous. I should be able to park, lock the car, and turn in the keys - that's it. You have your customers doing YOUR job (taking 9 million pictures, logging mileage, etc, when it doesn't matter as Uhaul will see the mileage and condition of the truck regardless - especially when people are exhausted from moving and all they want to do is get to their new home and relax.) Eventually the tide will change, people will get sick of it and demand more of companies.Nicole H.

Equipment was clean, felt truck gears/transmission needed checking; truck would sometimes not crank up immediately, don't know why I was charged $29.95 for rental rate & $29.95 for rental charge, that is double charging for same thing; reserved online for the KCK way location in Cedar Hill, TX & once I hit enter it had reserved FM 1382 location in Cedar Hill, I called & was told that location didn't have the 10 ft truck but that I could get 15 ft truck, went on 4/30 to pick that up & was told they didn't have that, gave me # to call in & was sent to RL Thornton Frw location in Dallas Tx. I have always used the online reservation & NEVER had this happen before; also the pricing/charging was different @ the final,location, the customer service was not up to par, however the customer service was better with the employee when I returned it, she was much more professional; overall this was my WORST experience with Uhaul EVER! No dolly was available to rent either. PLEASE verify why I was charged a rental rate & a rental charge & refund me one so those $29.95 fees. Neither had anything to do with mileage. The ideal service for a quick loaner truck for, us that do not have a pick up truck great! The customer service? Very bad. No one in office ready to help, not even the online check in was worth doing. Vehicle was dirty and the AC didn't work. Miles on the truck - 16k but smelled like a cigar bar. Honor the reservation made. Don't get into an argument with other employees in front of customers and during said argument take a phone call from another customer on speakerphone. Actually include the additional equipment ordered once you arrive at alternate location 15 miles away. Equipment should have working steering and brakes. Actually equip the vehicle rented with the appropriate size ramp and not one half the length of the truck. Respond to customers when they ask for a response in their rental return notes.James E.

There are always conflicting opinions regarding the work staff in the different stores, in my case it has been a very good experience, especially Sonja, she is a hardworking and friendly person, whenever I need to go to Dallas I will surely visit the Camp store wisdomRamon A.
Read the google reviews. I witness management and employees cursing and arguing with other employees. The manager never acknowledged me even after I said good morning to her. My reservation was 7:00 am, however the employee didn't come to the door until 7:20 am. She was supposedly in the bathroom with ear bugs in listening to music I guess. This location is terrible. First of all you guys are is very high risk on this gas situation. I return my truck back on the same amount of gas when I received it 1/4 of tank you send me an invoice which said that I return it 1/8 which that is a damn lie. So you guys charge me $22 + $30 which made my bill $111.14 deposit was $100 balance of $11.14 I owe. The issue was that my pick up location changed 3 times, twice the morning of the pickup, resulting in me racking up over $50 in Uber fares and picking up late, causing the workers also booked through you to have to wait. I specifically rented a hotel for the night near the pick up as well, only for that to change... Not very happy with how uHaul managed this at all,.Vance R.

This is my second visit to this location. Very unprofessional I had to give my information to the ldy tat checked me in since their internet wasnt working or I my have been blocked on purpose. Either way I feel that I was way over charged for the truck, i am having my attorney into the situation ask we speak. They never once went outside to assist me with with logging everything in i put $ 20.00 worth of gas in the truck which is over where it was when I left. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB for what I feel was theft to my credit card for their own usage.Cassandra R.
