Fast checkout and excellent customer service!
PHUONG HEmployee indicated incorrect fuel level. U-haul wanted to charge an additional $95 at drop off as it appeared we returned the truck with low fuel. Thankfully we took photos of the fuel gage upon departure.
LAEL SRental truck had check engine light upon delivery. Headlights were badly aimed which made night driving unsafe. Gas was not full even though contract listed it as full.

PHILIP SOverall good experience. Really freaking annoying that uhual tries to nickel and dime upon return. You have employees to check in a truck and a box to leave the key in; don't require customers to download an app next to a busy highway with tons of cell phones bogging down bandwidth and then require creation of an account and then make a customer do your job. Key box. That simple.

Keane KThere was no actual office to walk into for return and paperwork. Looked kind of like a warehouse repair facility. Excellent and timely service from agent. Friendly, courteous, professional.
ROBERT GI didn’t catch the names of the counter help, but they were really nice, straightforward and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. I’ve already scheduled my next U-Haul. I wish there was better or more clearly marked customer parking, but I am glad you have so many trucks available! Definitely a good location so close to a gas station and highway!
WENDA HI used the lockbox to pick up my order early. The lock was extremely weathered and would not open with my hands. After 40 min or trying different things and talking to the help desk I decided to grab a crow bar from my car and see if the lever on the lock would move, which it did. Buy new locks. Also truck was practically on E when I started it

Theresa KIt was a little inconvenient as I reserved a 8ft truck with a tow dolly when I went to pickup they had a 10ft box truck and I had to go from Monterey back to Salinas a different location to pickup tow dolly when I was expecting to pick up everything at Monterey location and be on the road wasted an hour and a half of my time

TERRY SI dropped off the keys in the night drop , however was charged $20 service fee. The representative when I checked the vehicle out pointed out the "night drop" box but did not disclose the fee. KIMBERLY NCommunication style was not friendly, it was like take it or leave it tone. When I dropped the truck, a man from a far did key sign with an unfriendly look. I walked up to him to give the key. He took the key without thanking me and walked away. I went after him and asked what was I supposed do, he said I could stay with him or go to the register but I didn’t hear him so I asked him again about what he said. All the staff could be a bit friendly and smile

JOSEPH BBoth Shalita and Sanjuana were OUTSTANDING drivers/deliverers/picker-uppers of my two U-pods at my storage location , then a week later, my two more U-boxes at my home location. The main problem was that two domestic U-pods were dropped off at my storage unit, which my friends and I packed perfectly and then come to find out, we had to repack everything into international U-pods. By that time, my friends have left and I had less help. That was a a BIG inconvenience. 🤨

GERARDO RThe customer service person there provided bare minimum in help and in welcoming attitude. I had to ask do I sign now ? Did you find the reservation ? I mean pulling teeth just to get out of him where we were in the process. What exactly he was waiting for. The acts like I am supposed to know things. We had no clue that a text , that wasn’t sent , was supposed to come to me to take pictures before we left. I walked out and came back in and said is someone going to check for damage before we leave. He was like , no you get a text. I said I didn’t get a text. He said I’ll resend it. Then sits and looks at me. Okayyyy soooo. The. He says well I need your number. Okay sooo use your words buddy. If he hates his job he should work somewhere else. You can’t work with the public while simultaneously not liking the public. The gentleman that helped me. Daniel was pleasant enough when I went in to ask a question because the app was giving me problems. The vehicle wasn’t just okay on the inside as far as cleanliness. Nothing horrible , just definitely wasn’t cleaned between uses obviously. The outside was again not horrible but way worse than the inside. Definitely. We rented a 20 foot and there is not a back up alert sound. My husband drives large vehicles for a living. 100% a back up time is necessary for a vehicle of that size. Not sure if it just wasn’t working or there wasn’t one. That is a hazard! To bad the person working there was so lacking in personality or quite frankly even somewhat not so bothered by assisting us , it would have made the other things less irritating. Except the back up time , that is something that should be taken care of immediately.

Liliane MWe did not get the size we reserved. (Reserved a 25ft and they gave us a 15ft) So we had to take 3 trips instead of one (2 hours round trip per drive) and was not told about paying the extra mileage. Ended up spending over $500 on a U-Haul with no type of helpful customer service when we explained. Would not recommend.

CHRISTOPHER JUhaul scheduling kept trying to change the time and place of my reservation. Eventually got the original time and place, but a different sized truck. Hard to trust that I actually was going to get a truck when I needed it. Stressful and time consuming when I thought I had that piece of the move settled ahead of time. Great help and interactions with Del Monte Uhaul employees

DAVID HHard to get to this location if you are coming south. Nothing can be done about that. Windshield of truck could have been cleaned. Other than that everything was great.
