Extra fuel charge is wrong. Filled tank with 2.5 gallons after traveling 28miles. Should not have been charged for 3gallons of fuel does the truck get 5miles/gallon? I doubt it.

Well I've booked for Hollister a truck but you guys found me one in Monterey but you would not give me some free miles which would've been appreciative because I had to drive all the way to Hollister from Monterey and then back to Hall Monterey to drop it off which I didn't get no extra miles which I would appreciate that next time for the mileage is Discrepancy you charge me extra miles when I should've got a truck in Hollister so that's my complaint everything else was fine so you guys got to do some about the mileage thank you have a good day

The keys didnt get left in the lock box, resulting in me driving 180 miles to get my truck and setting me back over 8 HOURS driving to Nevada. You also over charged me. I'll be calling to speak to a manager monday 2/15

The self-serve return is great, but photo upload is unreliable. Progress bar would start at 0% then instantly disappear. This prevented me from moving on.


I had to put air in one of the tires it was low other than that a great experience

U-Haul needs to SERIOUSLY improve their online service. If a customer RESERVES equipment for a specific day at a certain location, it needs to be there when that day arrives. I made a RESERVATION and was told a couple of days before that the truck I needs was NOT available. The WHOLE POINT of making a reservation is to lock in materials and equipment. Luckily, something was worked out, but it nearly resulted in a disaster!!


I am a Uhaul stock holder after this amazing experience! I have been a manager of large wellness centers for 10 years and know how hard it is to hire a great team. This team you have here, is the best group I've ever seen in any professional setting. Bonus points for the skinny Caucasian looking gentleman with a Raiders hat & the not as skinny Latino gentleman that helped me. The Raiders hat really made me feel comfortable by the way. Give all of these guys a raise!!

They guy that helped me was great! Didn't catch his name, but he has tattoos. He was so friendly, explained everything, and reminded me that good customer service still exists!


They did not include the hand truck I rented. I had to use miles (daily van rental plus mileage) to go back and get it the second day. Only had the hand truck for 24 hours because of their error but was charged for 2 days hand truck rental, plus the 8 miles - almost $8 - I had to go back to get it. Check in was smooth and easy on return. It was easy to pick it up - but the error in equipment is frustrating.


Dolly was not secured and was slinging around truck, back rolling door of truck sticks, a trick to open, lock on truck didn't open, engine light came on briefly. ******Staff was excellent!******


I give 5 star to the front desk and return service. Thank you kindly,

The fact that I had to drive 100 miles from my home to pick up my truck was a shameful act by Uhaul.


I reserved a truck at the Capitola, Ca location weeks before pick up. When I went to pick the truck up they told me I had to drive to Monterey, ca to get it. It set my move in time back by 2 hours and lots of driving and gas charges. I was not to pleased with my experience.

We were asked to return the U-Haul to a very specific parking space Upon return. as we were parking it in the assigned space, the attendant approached my husband and in a very flippant and rude tone asked him why he wasn't returning it next to the other trucks. My husband informed him that he was asked to return the truck to this spot upon return. The attendant was rude and flippant and made my husband feel like he was stupid. Not a fun experience after such a long day of moving. This employee definitely lacked fínese.

Your POS system is flawed. Employee was renting a truck to a customer in front of me. Employee had to switch terminals to complete the transaction. Wasn't able to upload the scanned DL. So you can look into fixing that, so it can speed up transactions.
