You cancelled my reservation the day before I had to move and I was forced to drive four hours to another location to get a new uhaul and all I got back was $50. I will literally never use uhaul again and I will make sure none of my friends or family use the company. Sucks for you.

Even when we had prior online appointment and we came on time, we had to wait in line for 10-15 minutes. The wait dismisses the whole point of advance booking. Should have a separate dedicated counter, and if they have it it should function properly.

I had excellent customer service. Everything was explained to me so I wasn't confused. They were fast at getting customers out the door so I didn't have to wait long at all. When I turned vehicle back in it was very expedient.

Do what you say you're going to do. If you say you're going to call someone back by end of day, call them back. If you say that you'd reach out in 48 hours to resolve a dispute call them back. If you say the reservation is at 8am the next day, it shouldn't be made for 5pm. And when all this happens, it shouldn't take 1.5 hrs of waiting on the phone to talk to someone to resolve. I know the people reading this aren't in control of all of these problems, but there is room for improvement on every interaction I have had in regards to not setting the right expectations. Too much overpromising and underdelivering.

I downloaded the U-Haul app and it is not intuitive regarding making changes to one's reservation contract/order, etc. It could not find my order when I tried to self checkout upon returning the truck. The customer service reps work hard in a tough environment of diverse customers.

Honestly, this was the worst experience I had with Uhaul. I was initially given the wrong vehicle, which was corrected. The mileage was not correct and I was charged 10 extra miles. When I tried to dispute this, the manager was condescending. So I just walked away. But I just got my receipt, and now I'm being charged for an additional dolly that I did not received, rent, or use.I already emailed the customer email provided to let Uhaul know. I use Uhaul all the time. This rental was just to pick up a washer. I can't believe how awful this small 3 hour experience was.

Mobile pick up was the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul. I've never used it before and never will again. 1. It doesn't work on Firefox. When you upload your face photo, it fails to create the preview, but the site doesn't handle the error properly so you get an infinite loading spinner when you proceed. 2. You have to wander around a parking lot like a stoned vagrant to find your truck, and they aren't even labeled clearly. 3. You still need to interact with people quite a bit to get keys and any supplementary equipment, so the whole benefit of the process (reducing human interaction and moving quickly) is broken. 4. When I was initially using Firefox and thought your site was broken, I tried to go inside and just do it manually. They said the only option they had was to cancel my reservation and start over. That is absurd, there is no reason an agent shouldn't be able to take over a mobile check out. 5. The two workers were not wearing masks, though they did have them nearby.

I ordered a utility Dolly but did not receive when I picked up the truck. I was also told that I would be reimbursed for the utility dolly as well as for the mileage I did not use. I am very dissatisfied.

Supposed to return trailer to same location. Arrived and was told no room on the lot and I'd have to drop off at a different location which I refused to do. After much arguing, they finally agreed to let me drop it there per my contract. This is after renting the last time where I was supposed to drop it off In Fredericksburg and was told upon arrival they would not take it and ended up having to drive it 45 miles away to Marble Falls. Come on U-Haul, I've used you many times but not sure in the future after these last two experiences.

Very arrogant, rude and demanding people in receiving of vehicles. Acted as if they were doing the customer a favor. Only person that was helpful at all was a young man that actually checked the mileage, fuel level and physical condition of the vehicle. The two woman working with him on Saturday August 29th need serious remedial training in customer service and interaction

The only thing that would be helpful would be some kind of information about where to park a car while I'm using the rental truck. There was a tiny parking lot with maybe 5-6 spots that were full when I arrived, so I had to go park in the neighborhood about a block away from the store. Otherwise, everything was solid.

The mobile check in process was great for contactless pickup, except that I had to go to the counter to pick up the keys because their lock boxes were not working. This is fine, but the guy at the desk was really irritating and unhelpful. He asked for the code, but by the time the website prompt told me to get the keys from the front desk, there was no code to show him. He said he needed this code to know which truck I was renting. Then he told me there was no pickup truck even though I already saw it outside. When I told him there was no code, he repeatedly told me in a very condescending voice to “calm down”. As I was perfectly calm and not at all confrontational, I guess the only reason he spoke like that to me is because I'm a woman and apparently that makes me hysterical. He told me to calm down at least three times before he finally just looked at what I was trying to show him on my phone: that there was, indeed, no code. Finally he got his manager and the manager asked me my name and immediately gave me the keys and explained the lock box situation. All was well, but this guy at the counter was absolutely infuriating and probably sexist.

Several staff members just stood around and looked at us as we waited to get our trailer unhooked. The young man who did finally come help us was a bit rude regarding folding the moving blankets. We were not informed that we needed to re-fold the blankets or pay a dollar per blanket. How ridiculous.

There should be an online notice that the 10 foot truck has two significant wheel well obstructions and a fuel filler obstruction on the floor. This prevented us from loading the truck to its capacity forcing more trips than expected. Had I known, I would've upgraded online to the next size truck since I was moving furniture.

When the man at the service counter was helping the men ahead of me he gave them his full attention while I waited in line. But when he started with me (a woman) he also opened a second register and started helping the man behind me rent a dolly while I waited at the first register. It was unprofessional and felt gross and sexist.

The front desk person was difficult to communicate with. I also rented 12 blankets but was allowed to drive away without having put those blankets in the truck. I returned shortly after driving off with the rental thinking that I should check to see if the blankets were in the truck. They were not. I went back in to ask about that and the front desk person then added them without apologizing that he'd forgotten to put them in the truck that was ready and waiting for me because I'd gone online to check out before arriving at the pick up location. I think you may have the wrong person at the front desk at that location; not very customer service oriented.

They wanted me to go to a different location. I was happy I had my contract since it stated clearly I was to drop off at the Lamar location. She also had me cut off several knotted pulley cords that were in the trailer. They were not out there by me and since there were several that were very tightly knotted, I thought they were supposed to be there. I was glad I had a knife because there was no way I could have untied them. Otherwise she was nice.

I booked rental pick up one location and drop off in another location..... somehow reservation wasn't completed as I anticipated. The return location was just 15 min-20 min away. Rate jumped over $100 since I wasn't returning to the same location. Why drive further when another location is closer? It's not good customer service. The return location did try and find a coupon for $20 off which helped a little. I rented the truck for approx 4 hours. Very expensive for mileage driven and time used. There should be more flexibility and reasonableness.
