I understand it's based on where equipment is returned but I only gave location 4 stars because I had to drive past several U-Hauls to pick up my rental. Overall, a smooth experience.

Victoriano T.I don't even know where to begin. My reservation was messed up before I even picked up my truck. First off, I was not able to pick up a truck at my requested location. After spending an hour driving to the location and back home, I open the truck and the appliance cart that I paid for was not in the truck. My son had to go to the local cation near my home that I had originally requested to pick up a cart. The manager couldn't even complete the pickup on the computer. My son had to get on the computer to complete the transaction. He had to pay for the cart again. I spent almost an hour on the phone trying to get a refund for the first cart I did not receive. Then I get a message stating the 2nd cart was scheduled to be returned to a location an hour and a half from my final destination. I had to call customer service AGAIN. I was told that this was taken care of. It was not. Today I received a call from a person at the wrong location wanting to know why I had not yet returned the appliance cart. Seriously the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul. The left hand has zero idea what the right hand is doing. I should have not had to pay for the appliance cart period after all the hassle I had to go through to get it. Horrible experience and causes me so much stress at the time of my move. 👎
Pamela A.I was given a 26ft truck that was dirty inside and out. I also ordered 48 moving pads and a furniture dolly. There were only 12 pads and no dolly. I had to go to another location to retrieve the furniture pads. The truck I was given was deafening when driving. I got to the next location and THANKFULLY the person working there listened to the truck and looked it over and said I should have never been given this vehicle to drive from Austin to Boston. The brake fluid was all over the rear wheel of the truck. My person safety was not taken into consideration when this truck was given to me. At this location they called to find another 26ft truck, back at the original location. Come to find out, the 2nd truck that I received was the one assigned to me. The first truck was given to me because it was convenient. This type of service is so very concerning. Thankfully I was not driving by myself, but if I had been and used the first truck I could have encountered a breakdown with out assistance or possibly not knowing the area. This is unacceptable.

edmend F.I booked a 10 foot truck for two days at this location and got the email confirmation. When I went to pick it up I was told by the woman at the counter that they don't rent these trucks for two days on the weekend. I pointed out that I got confirmation, she told me that I shouldn't have been able to make that reservation. She made a call and I was offered a van, which I took (better than nothing). I had to make several more trips because of that (which meant higher costs because of mileage) and could not pick up several items as planned because they would not fit. That really sucked. I didn't want anything for free, but I would have liked my confirmed booking to actually be available. The "outside of business hours" return was very stressful. Every time the app asked me for a photo, I had to leave the form, take the picture and then start over. I had to do this several times, because the app doesn't tell you up front which pictures you will need. Anyway, it was a very stressful experience.

Kyle G.The staff at this location are, without fail, courteous, professional, and competent. They helped fix a problem with my reservation (which was entirely my own fault) with grace and humor. Both pickup and dropoff were easy. I was a bit concerned with the amount of the hold on my credit card (to cover excessive mileage), but the actual amount billed was quite reasonable, and completely in line with the original estimate I received when making the reservation. I will definitely use this U-Haul location for all of my moving needs!
Anthony V.We ran into a sceduleing issue the day of pick up, basically meaning uhaul forgot to scedule us at our original pick up destination and never told us. When we called uhaul to find out where our truck was we were told we could have extra miles for the inconvenience of driving and extra hour to pick up our truck. When we got to the store the lady working was rude, gave us the wrong equipment, the truck also have fast food bags and trash from pervious people, and when asked about the miles she said that it wasn't in the computer and she refused to help us further and basically kicked us out of the store. I get the miles we're not her fault but she could have helped by offering to help reach out to customer service or something.

I was disheartened at first because I drove several hours thinking I was not going to get my u haul. They both were outstanding and caring. Superstars from the u haul team!

Francene M.I actually was super stressed and have never rented a Uhaul ever, but the employees at this location made it soooooo easy for me to get the right truck for my move. I can't recall the young lady's name who helped but she was great! Super polite and knowledgeable! Then I had an issue with returning the truck cause the website for self check in was not working, well the manager of this location totally helped me even tho it was her day off. I really appreciate people like this. They're are honestly exemplary associates and I will definitely rent here if I need to again, and will absolutely recommend to friends and fam. Thanks guys for making this soooo easy for me. I appreciate alllllll the help.

John B.The staff could be friendlier. A homeless person with a bike stayed overnight in the trailer next to the one I rented. Staff apparently know of this person. It explains the moving blankets left in the trailer.
Peter D.The truck was not cleaned. It had ashes, cigarette butts and sun flower seeds everywhere. My son and I had to. Lean the cab of the truck the best we can. The first night I had the truck the check engine light came on and a mechanic had to come out to my home in Austin Texas to fix the problem. The truck was not in good condition and I wish you guys gave me a newer truck. The inside of the truck where we load was the extremely dirty and looked like blood on the hood of the storage compartment. To top it off I was given an unsafe car transport. The strap that holds the vehicle down was not in safe conditions and j had to drive out of my way again to get the trailer fixed at the research blvd location. The trailer also had a bad tire but they seemed to not care. Between the truck and trailer it put me behind on my move. Definitely not worth the amount of money I paid and the worst experience I have ever had renting from uhaul.

loretta C.I rented a flatbed trailer for 4 days with the intention of putting a small UTV on the trailer. The UTV was too wide to fit, so I immediately returned the trailer. I only had it for less than 2 hours. I didn't get even a partial refund, and honestly the attendant was so busy on his phone that he never even looked at me. I wont use U Haul again.
