Drop off couldn’t have been easier. Alex was extremely helpful ito get the trailer into a parking space and I was in and out very quickly.

Cedrick was very customer friendly and made my rental experience a pleasure. Trailer was clean, came with a dolly and performed great. I passed a couple U-Haul locations to come to Southside/Beach and I’m glad I did.

There was no clear way to get to the desk to ask for my keys for my mobile pick up. It says "skip the line" but there's no room to walk around people in this place, and no signage saying to let the staff know if you have a mobile pick up. The staff also didn't ask in between taking care of the long line if anyone was there to grab keys for mobile pick up real quick. They looked stressed and they needed more people on staff. Location sucked and there wasn't enough staff there. Also, the app is literally garbage. It doesn't work half the time, so it takes DOUBLE the time to do what you need to do with it. On top of that, I was charged for extra milage after I had an email from U-Haul saying milage was added to my account/order. And after calling customer service, they couldn't help me, couldn't even see the email I received on their end (I offered to forward the email to them), and they "escalated" it and gave me a reference ID. Gentleman on the phone with me was so nice, don't get me wrong, but the script he had said, we have 72 hours to call you back, if we don't, call US back and give us the ID number and we'll escalate it again. Lmao, wtf? Just 0/10 I'm probably going to use Penske or Hertz or some other company because this was so terrible on so many different fronts. The working PEOPLE were kind, it's how it's being managed/run that is trash.

It was self service but there was nowhere to park. In addition, we had a trailer but no way to take it off the hitch! How is there nothing on the trailer to hitch it off?? My husband had to lift and put it on the ground. That’s not safe nor feasible for most people.

Overall a good experience with this location due to the Assistant Manager helping me. Their were system maintenance issues and she pretty much went above and beyond to help me. Thank you

Just make sure each vehicle is running smoothly. No delayed issues. Only the truck seemed to have a hike un the exhaust and was very, very noisy. Otherwise everything else was great.

My overall experience was poor I had a bad experience here at this location and I will personally NEVER rent a truck from here again in the past years I've always used UHAL but customer service was not top tier

The mandatory call to your "Emergency Contact" is so unnecessary and woke up my spouse. There is NO other U-Haul location that I have utilized that has ever "called" a emergency contact. What if my contact did not answer - does that indicate I am a risk to stealing a U-Haul. How many U-Hauls from this location are stolen? What does calling the emergency contact do for the location ----- if I am going to commit a crime, you would think that the emergency contact would be briefed on it and would cover the customer. The staff was amazing, the equipment was OK (my 15" had a check engine light illuminated) - but, due to the emergency contact wake-up call requirement, I will not be renting from this location again. Again, STAFF was amazing. General Manager policies are absolutely not favorable to your customers.

Staff was recommending and professional. The 20ft that I had reserved, had not been returned, so the manager contacted me to advise they were going to give me a 26ft if I wanted, for the same price of the 20ft, or he could find me another location that did have the 20ft. I thanked him for the swap at no additional charge. That’s excellent customer service and ensuring that the customer was happy. I have used this location for 3 moves I believe and have never had a bad experience. Thank you for keeping your trucks clean and in good condition.

Everything was amazing with the staff & location. Service was fast & friendly. I ordered couch covers & a mattress cover online when I booked. The app showed I picked it up which I hadn’t. The staff was so amazing & kind never questioning if I was telling the truth, this is 100% great customer service.

Dropped it off in Ocala FL The drop off was at 1011 Pine Ave., Ocala, FL - They did awesome too. Was in and out of the drop off in about 15 minutes. This could not have been easier.

The staff at this location is amazing! They are outgoing, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They really went out of their way to make my experience easy and stress free and they exceeded my expectations by making sure I had everything I needed from start to finish! I will be back and I absolutely and highly recommend this location!

Toy, the General Manager at this location was dismissive and rude. I called to confirm details and was hung up on, called back and was left on hold with no response for 5 minutes. When I arrived, she continued to make rude remarks and even mocked me in a conversation with another customer. I will not return or recommend this location to a friend ever.

Dear , I am writing to bring a serious safety issue to your attention regarding the vehicle I recently used. The front left tire was completely slick on the inside, which made driving extremely dangerous. I only noticed this condition halfway through my trip. Providing a vehicle in this state is unacceptable and poses a significant risk. Please address this maintenance failure immediately. Best regards,

The people at this location were fantastic! The overall experience with U-Haul was terrible. Even though we reserved a truck and dolly, neither was available at my assigned check-in. By the grace of God someone returned a 26' shortly after my assigned time. Still no dolly. Reservations are taken, then that is it No follow up to ensure availability.

I have used this location many times over the years, but this time was my worst experience 😞 1) had a 9:00am reservation, but didn't get truck to almost 10:00(staffing 🤬) 2) reserved a appliance dolly, but NO dollys were available, NONE 🤬 Hopefully this won't happen again.

The truck was old and kinda dirty inside. It drove roughly. There was only one person working the office on the day of pick up. He said the other employee called out sick and the manager decided not to come in. We waited nearly 30 minutes to get the truck although I had a reservation.

Ordered a utility dolly and 2 furniture dollies, was only able to get 1 furniture dolly. Was told that the other 2 would be removed from my contract and off the receipt but they never were

When I filled out my application online, I indicated that I didn’t want accident insurance, and at the counter I told the agent that I didn’t want it, but they charged it to my card anyway. I also had to buy insect repellent and spray the truck bed before loading my belongings because there were cockroaches in it.
