First employee I encountered couldn’t be bothered to help me but had no issue helping people behind me. She couldn’t understand I already had a reservation and left the building when I asked for help. Second employee was wonderful and helped get equipment and was proficient with the return. Uhaul over all experience was shitty. Worst company I’ve ever used and I never plan on using them again. $1156 for my things to be late, total of 10 hours on the phone with customer service and Hayward CA branch to get a refund for the wrong card charged when I called in advance to change the method of payment. Then the box was late and delivered to the wrong store. After being told I would have to wait yet another day to get my things because they couldn’t get it onto a trailer all day, I arrived at the store to load/unload into a cargo van which is where first employee couldn’t be bothered to do her job.

I needed to drop the trailer off early to unload the truck and the gentleman on the phone helped immensely. He notated it on my rental so I could do so after hours and get everything set up well.

Apparently it doesn't do any good to make a reservation ahead of time. I came in two days before I needed the rental van and assumed that everything had been taken care of and I could just pick up the keys and go on the date needed -- especially since this was the second time I rented from this location. But on the morning of the actual rental I still had to wait in a long line, give my DL number and other information, and wait for the processing to finish. Please change your practices to make things quicker and easier for us renters. Otherwise I'm not inclined to return.

I ordered a furniture dolly to help with my move. When I arrived, the desk attendant told me "We're all out of furniture dollys so I'll just take it off your order." That complete defeats the purpose of me pre-ordering one, and made me very frustrated. I asked if there are any available at other stores around Austin and without checking anything, they just said "I'm not sure, probably not we've had a shortage recently."

Right side vehicle hold down strap had damage 90% torn thru. I have pictures if you would like to see. Your customer service was going to offer me a credit of some kind which I did not receive.

My car was NOT connected correctly to the auto transport trailer and I was told I was lucky my car even made the trip! Something about the fender wasn't locked down, the cover/stabilizer that goes over the tires - one came off!!! The heavy chains front and back weren't even connected!!!

Facility was clean and well maintained. However, they were unable to accept the car trailer I rented with the 15 ft truck. I was then asked to drop off the trailer at a different location. After driving 500 miles!

The woman that did my rental was very rude, not attentive at all. From the moment I walked into the location she had an attitude and let it show. The entire time I was at the counter going back and forth with the employee about my rental and problems she had her earpiece in listening to music to the point that I could actually hear the music as she was singing along to it. There wasn’t but one other customer that was waiting to get a trailer hitched up and it took so long that I hitched up my own trailer and unhitched it upon my return. I got the numbers to the manager and overall manager and will be giving them a call. I rent from you all on a regular basis and have never been treated like this.

we got a receipt for $66 change back and when we went in the morning they tried to short us and only give us $40 back. U-haul thinks they can be dishonest and get away with it. Won’t return to this location.

Tiffany is the BEST. She was a real life saver with getting us moved into our storage unit and helping us figure out where we needed to drop off our truck/trailer. Customer service (NOT at this location) on the phone was super rude and was making this drop off WAY more difficult than it should have been. Tiffany swooped in and saved us. She showed us around the storage unit and checked back in with us throughout the unpacking. She even moved some of the parked cars/trucks on site so we felt more comfortable getting our truck in and out. THANK YOU Tiffany!! She's the best!!!!!!!

When I arrived to drop off the truck no one walked out immediately the sign said wait in the truck but my son had walked in to tell them I was there and a young lady very polite told me they would send me an copy of the receipt and that it was already paid and that’s all they needed again she look short handed in big companies they try to trim all the fat but when you don’t have any fat to trim you tend to cut your self short just an old mans observation thank truck was awesome

The customer service is horrible and honestly I’ve rented there a couple of times it’s been the same. You walk and they are on their phones and don’t even put them down when you get to the counter. She talked to me the entire time while doing something on her phone. Basically there customer service sucks! Oh did I mention how the place reeks of marijuana!

Agreement was not met. I was overcharged for an error on the part of your employees. Manager said he would fix and he didn't. I am in communcation with customer service.

The location did not have my truck ready for me to pickup after hours. I had to wait for the location to open. This delayed my whole day. When I turned in the truck U was charged double for insurance and for the daily rate. I called customer service for a price adjustment. When I was at the location the person at the counter said that her phone was not charged and she could not give me a receipt, but that i could only get it on line.

The girl at the desk couldn't possibly have cared less about our presence. I left not really knowing if the trailer had even been accounted for. Someone called me two days later to verify whether I'd dropped the trailer off.

Unable to get app or website to “share location”. Was not clear exactly where to drop off equipment. Was able to get a hold of customer service in under three minutes, explain situation, describe drop off location and address and get issue resolved all under 10 minutes. Very happy with service other than technology not working!

I'm sorry, but this location is not well trained in rental return transactions. I have dealt with them twice and they just can't seem to enter returns correctly. They overcharge your credit card, not once but twice. Then you have to call them to straighten out everything. Never again will I use this Uhaul on 41st & University area.
