I made a complaint about the amount that was Charged and did mot get a reimbursement. I fill the has tank to half as i was Asked and was still charged for has. If I don’t get my money back I will report it to Consumer protection and CTV go public! Pkease help me avoid this.

The pick-up location was changed the night before at 8pm (even though I made reservation a month before), the message left on my answering machine was hard to understand. The location was hard to get to due to massive amounts of construction but no indications were given, had to park far away in street. Nothing was offered in compensation for this ridiculous situation, not even moving straps or a 5$ matress bag. The staff was nice enough, it wasnt their fault and the truck was clean. When I put gas in the truck the needle never moved even though I put in the amount indicated on the contract, this I was told was normal because of the low amount, and I was told I would have to pay an extra 10$ fee because I should have put in an extra liter of gas. I started to lose it because I couldnt believe this whole situation was serious, and he deducted. This was a pretty lousy experience to say the least, do not understand why u-haul functions this way, will not recommend, horrible customer service.

Waiting is too long for renting. It took me 30 min from entering the store and driving the truck. Waiting for giving back the truck is also long. Took me 25 mins from entering the parking and leaving. Price is good, used the truck 1 extra hour and didnt charge me anything

Their was an error on my bill when I returned the truck. I paid way more then what the clerk on the phone said I would pay for and the clerk in the store didn't care nor did he even look in to the matter when I told him that it wasn't the price I was told I would pay. Had to call customer service and even that didnt resolve the problem.

We ad a reservation for 9 am. but we only get the truck at 10h15. There was only two guy working and the line was not going fast. I dont see why we do reservation at an exact time if it to make us wait that much.

Not put a lock on the truck without giving them a key for it. After getting home, 30km away from the rental location, I noticed there was a lock on the back door of the truck. I never received a key for this lock. I tried calling the location, but kept getting out on hold without ever getting answered to. I called three times, waiting on hold between 12 and and 20 minutes each time. After forty minutes and a fourth call, I interrupted the person trying to put me on hold and told them I had a truck with a lock, without a key. I was told to cut the lock! Fortunately, I did have access to power tool and that part went well. Still, that put me an hour late on my planning for the move. I was not offered any compensation for this. Not even to extend my reservation to compensate for the lost time! I also had trouble last time I rented with you. In that case, it was a self pick up and the code I was given to unlock wasn't working. I spent one hour on the phone before finally reaching someone who new that lock and told me that, since it was getting old, it had to be held a certain way in order to unlock!! They extended my reservation that time, but that was the only compensation I got. I am very unimpressed by your services. You might be cheaper than the others, but I guess we get a service according to what we pay. I am actively recommending my friend NOT to go to uhaul and will not rent with you again.

Erreur du commis: Suite au retour d'une remorque, on me dit que tout est beau et que le contrat est fermé en bon et due. Puis la journee suivante je recois un appel de U-Haul disant que le contrat n'est pas fermé et que je dois $89. Si j'avais su que le contrat ne pouvait etre fermé lorsque j'etais sur place, j'aurais agit autrement et je n'aurais pas eu à defrayer $89.

Can improve the brackets and chains holding the trailer back-end folding door, it does not stay closed when hitting bumps. Have seen much better on other rental (with pins). Would have like more hook points for tension-straps.

Le temps d'attente pour être répondu. J'ai attendu 20 minutes pour retourner le camion que j'avais loué. 3 employés sont présent à faire leur travail et les clients attendent pour être répondus. Le service internet de paiement ne fonctionne pas sur une machine et il faut recommencé.

Hire more staff to reduce wait time for customers. Train your staff to offer a better customer service. Make sure to offer more lines available so that we don't stay on hold for hours over the phone. Correct your address on Google. We thought we had a truck waiting for us at 5580 Boulevard metropolitan, ended up going all the way to pie-IX. It was way to expensive (94$ for 2 hours and about 60km used)

le camion est tombé en panne, j'ai du attendre le remorquage et une fois dans l'agence le gérant m'a gardé sur place jusqu'au départ du remorquage, pour me dire que je pouvais partir et qu'il allait me contacter apres vérification du camion camion, je lui ai expliqué que je n'avais rien a voir la dedans. j'ai perdu beaucoup de temps alors que le gérant n'a même pas pris la peine de regarder le kilometrage.au final on m'a chargé pour 100Km alors que j'ai fais moins et même d'excuse des inconvénients que j'ai eu. je suis très déçu.

1. No parking space available for my car Had to park in the street. 2. Customer service is painfully slow. There should be at least 2 service reps behind the counter. There was a line forming that took at least 30 minutes before I met the person. I'm not returning to that location ever again.

no service, we ask for a 20' foot cube, which add only 17'. We dit not use the truck and were charge for it. And by the way, Montréal, Québec is french.

Online pickup did not function properly and after having completed all steps and waited 15 minutes while screen said info was being processed, I finally gave up and went inside to talk to an employee... but there was a lineup and I had to wait another 20 minutes. Once I was finally served by the employee, everything was satisfactory. Just wish I had not wasted all that time with the "Easy online pick up service".

apart from the horrendous construction in the area( which I am not basing this off), this location is always a problem. dropping off the trailer takes an eternity and no one is helpful and cares. had to go in the shop myself to grab the tools and dolly to remove my trailer and or I would have to wait over an hour. every single customer takes a minimum of 30 min because the staff is moving at the slowest pace and has the most miserable look ok their faces, I have never seen such a disorganized set up than this one in my entire life. Thankfully the agent I got who installed the trailer was great he actioned all quickly and gt me on the rod in no time but coming back to drop it off was horrible.

Very slow service..i waited for half an hour in the line to get the truck and another half an hour in the line to return the truck..just 2 employees serving the customers.. you should increase ur staff members at this location and speed up serving the customers

I had lost my keys in the house. I asked to extend my rental by one day (which they did). This gave me time to locate the missing key it had fallen out of my pocket behind a door. I Had thought that it had fallen in the yard but I was wrong.

J'ai dû attendre plus de 30 minutes afin d'être servi même s'il y avait qu'une personne devant moi dans la file. Lorsque j'ai été avec l'employé cela a pris très long temps. J'ai plusieurs questions en lien avec la facture, je crois que j'ai été surchargé, j'ai envoyé un message à UHAUL et j'attends encore une réponse.

We booked a truck from the st Leonard location. We did not receive a call the day before the rental so presented ourselves at the requested location. 10 minutes before our booking telling us to go to mtl nord. This took over an hour extra of our time. With this set back we had to pay for additional babysitting time for our baby. This was very disappointing and totally unnecessary. We will look for other companies for any future rentals.

J’ai été dégoûté de mon expérience. Premièrement, on annule ma réservation quelques jours avant et on me donne comme raison que celui qui loue ne donne pas de camion plus que 6h. Ensuite, on veut m’envoyer à un U-Haul à 22 km de détour. Après en avoir trouvé un autre, on me dit qu’il n’y a pu charriot pour frigo de disponible. On me mentionne que c’est premier arrivé premier servis, alors que ma réservation était fait depuis plusieurs semaines. Quand je demande au comis s’il peut m’aider à trouver un charriot dans un autre U-Haul, il me répond pas et il s’en fou. À la fin du contrat j’ai été obligé de lui redemander et il sa réaction a été désagréable. Il n’a rien trouvé et il m’a suggéré de prendre un petit charriot pour boîte et des strappe. J’ai refusé parce que c’est très dangereux. J’ai été obligé de faire une détour de 30 km pour trouver un autre charriot moi-même (autre U-Haul). Au retour je demande un dédommagement pour le tout et il me répond qu’il ne peut rien faire. Je demande de mettre le contrat en attente puisque le gérant n’était pas présent. Il me dit qu’il ne peut pas le faire et après que j’ai dit oui tu peux il le met en attente. J’appelle le lundi et impossible de parler avec le gérant. Impossible de parler au gérant et pour me rendre compte qu’il on facturé le tout sans mon autorisation et sans que je puisse parler au gérant.Je ne retournerais plus jamais chez U-Haul. Je ne recommanderais jamais U-Haul à un ami et s’il me dit oui c’est moins chère et bien je vais lui proposer de payer son camion ailleurs plutôt que de faire à faire avec cette compagnie.

J'avais fais une location 24/7 prise en charge mobile. J'arrive là, rien fonctionne. J'appelle pas moyen de parler français. Finalement, une personne me demande 5 fois d'envoyer des photos de moi et elle dit à chaque fois qu'elle ne peut pas faire la verification et de renvoyer une autre photo. 3-4 fois elle me demande les memes photos de mon permis. Je suis arrivé 45 mins en retard au lieu que je devais aller. Je vais assurément deposer une plainte.
