Worst U-Haul location, took 1hr 15 min you pick up a trailer. I arrived at 8:45 AM and was customer #3 on the line up. Location opens a 9AM, agents arrived at 9 AM, started moving rentals ( a full packed yard of 20-30+, 10’-15’,20’). This location has 0 parking for customers.

J’ai conduit environ 5 minutes après avoir quitté le centre U-Haul quand quelqu’un m’a signalé que la porte du camion était ouverte, probablement parce qu’elle n’était pas bien fermée au départ. De plus, une couverture de déménagement avait été laissée à l’intérieur du camion, sans être rangée à sa place, et elle dégageait une odeur extrêmement désagréable, vraiment inacceptable.

First , the rear mirror wasnt even fixed i had to put myself in various dangerous situation to fix it while driving. Check engine opened. No air nothing so badly maintained and the service is so bad and long.

The pick-up process was an incredible pain. I had to wait in line for 2 hours (9.30-11.30) for my 10am rental, the main problem wasn't that there were a lot of people but that the line was simply not moving – definitely not enough crew on deck. Then I asked if I could change the return location for my truck and was told that was impossible, which was simply too bad. Then the guy at the counter lectured me about how I had to bring back the truck with exactly the same amount of gas, without being able to tell me how much it consumes. When I finally picked up the truck, the fuel gauge was close to empty and it told me I had only 40 miles to drive, which forced me to stop for gas first, although I was already so late. And the check-engine light was flashing, which scared me for the long drive (100+ miles) to my destination. Obviously the truck did consume an awful lot (only 7-8 mpg), which was to be expected but can definitely be improved. Oh and finally the loading ramp was kind of broken as it couldn't be properly brought to floor level, which constituted a hazard when loading the truck with heavy appliance and furniture. Luckily the return process was easy and painless.

The equipment was generally clean and well maintained. However, a previous customer obviously transported cement, plaster or something similar, which left dust and debris. This was partially cleaned but not completely.

The truck that I rented was clearly not inspected prior to my rental. A padlock was on the cargo door without key for it and got the truck running on fumes as the gas tank was empty. Lots of loss time at the beginning of the days to handle gas shortage and having to go back to have them cut the padlock and inspect the inside of the box.

The employees at this location need supervision and training. It was a very chaotic experience from pickup to drop off. I was supposed to have my unit by 9:30 but didn't leave till almost noon. When dropping off the unit I had to involve my self in the process and found they were making careless mistakes.

The service was horrible. I had a pick up appointment at 9am and I did not get served til passed 10am. The wait was ridiculous. The service area was full and only one person working. You should adjust your staff based on the appointments requests you have for the day. Plus the customer service agent took photos of my personal information, ie: my license with his personal phone. Unacceptable service.

premierement, il ne restait qu'une seule place disponible et tres petite, comme je dis precedemment, si je n'avais pas eu d'experience, je n'aurais jamais ete capable de me stationner. Il n'y avait pas d'indication pour proposer d'aller se stationner dans le parking du centre d'achat, ce que j'ai constater apres avoir toujner en rond 45 minute et avoir finallement pu me stationner. Ensuite, il y avait des poubelle a la grandeur du terrain c'etait degeulasse. je ne peut parler du personnel vu que j'ai laisse le vehicule dans la nuit donc vous devriez ajouter que cune option en ce sens. par contre l'endroit pour deposer les cles etait bien indiqué. je recommenderait cette place si vous indiqué dans le document qu'il est possible de mettre le camion dans le stationnement du centre d'achat adjacent. sinon, non. je veux ajouter que le personnel au telephone est particulierement efficace, caa serait le fun que vos emplacement donne le meme service en courtoisie

La remorque était défectueuse (une roue était bloquée, c’était impossible d’avancer). J’ai appelé le service d’assistance et on m’a confirmé que le matériel était défectueux et qu’ils allaient faire venir un spécialiste pour récupérer le tout. Résultat : 1. J’ai du annuler mon déménagement 2. U-Haul me charge 570$ de frais pour « Wrong Drop Off », parce que la remorque devait être retournée à Montréal, mais elle a été reportée ailleurs par le spécialiste. 3. Énorme perte de temps. Pire expérience de location que j’ai vécue.

Before leaving with the trailer I rented, the employee checked the brake lights but questioned the driver side light actually working. I saw him hitting it a few times, I asked if it was ok, he said, it should be fine. I got pulled over by the police because while braking, the driver side light wasn’t working. I was held there for an hour and had to convince the officer to let me go. I explained it was a rental but he said it didn’t matter. It’s still my responsibility, I don’t think it is, it’s the 100% responsibility of the employee to make sure when I leave, it is safe for the road. He finally let me go but warned me to go straight to bring it back to U-Haul. I asked to be reimbursed because of the waste of time and not accomplishing all that I had to do with the trailer. I was denied any help at all. Don’t recommend this location. Be careful when picking up your rental.

The truck i had recently used was not maintained the battery was almost dead (very weak) to the point that if I had the stress of the truck not starting when I had to start it each time after having the hazards on

Le service est extrêmement lent. Il n’y a aucune organisation ni prise en charge efficace, pas même le minimum. On a l’impression que personne ne travaille dans ce magasin. Aucune indication claire, même lorsqu’on la demande aux personnel. Je suis arrivé environ 15 minutes avant le début de ma réservation ; nous sommes partis avec le camion une heure plus tard. C’est comme si tout le personnel avait été embauché le matin même et que c’était leur premier jour, sans avoir reçu aucune formation. Personne n’a l’air de savoir ce qu’il fait et ça se voit. Au retour du camion, ils te recharge des extras sans ton autorisation et ils ne t'explique pas pourquoi non plus. Lorsque j'ai demandé pourquoi un surplus, ils m'ont dit "C'est comme ca". Cela ne me dérangent pas s'il y a un surplus, c'est INACCEPTABLE qu'ils soient incapable de le justifier. En fin bref, je conne 1 étoile car je ne peux pas leur mettre moins.

I chose the mobile pickup option, and everything was supposed to be ready and already in the truck when I got there. But of course, nothing was. I had to go inside because the moving supplies weren’t even in the truck yet. I had also bought moving straps for in-store pickup at this location. When I asked for them, I was told they were damaged. I explained to the agent that I really needed them to move. Instead, he showed me some random straps that weren’t for moving at all—just straps to hold stuff together. I kept insisting, and finally he went somewhere. God knows where ! and came back out of breath with the straps I had originally ordered. He didn’t make me sign anything; he just handed them over, even though everything else had already been paid for and registered in the app. I was supposed to pick up my order and the truck at 8:30 AM. Nothing was ready. I ended up waiting in line and didn’t get the truck until 9:15 AM. Then, when I returned the truck, the same exact thing happened. There was no one to check the truck. I had to go back inside and wait another 30+ minutes. And to make it worse, everyone else waiting to return keys wasn’t even there—not at this location, not at my previous U-Haul return. All of this was completely ridiculous, especially for a move on February 28th. Between the delays picking up and returning the truck, I probably lost over an hour of my day. Honestly, this whole experience was a mess. The mobile pickup service is supposed to be easy and convenient, but it was the exact opposite.

The service was slow inside but perfect outside at the departure. When I returned the same day nobody was on the ground and everybody was inside. I had to wait.

Everyone seemed to be trying to get you out of the door and leave them alone. I was referred here from the Boulevard Crémazie store that inadvertently decided to cancel my reservations without informing me. Told me to bring the tow dolly there from the Pi-IX office and said they would help me load my car on it. By the time I brought back the dolly the staff had left and the car was inoperable and couldn't be loaded. Thank you for a nightmare of an experience.

The van was not clean inside, full of snow, I could barely see behind me in the side rear view mirrors due to dirt. I am not expecting a sparkling shinny vehicle, however, the safety parts and the cabin should be cleaned. The person who handed me the keys, never spoke a bout receiving a link to take Pictures of the vehicle prior leaving the lot. I still did my check of the vehicle condition, but this should have shared by the person at the counter. Transparency makes customer come back!!!! I will consider other locations for my future needs

The employee at the counter was not only incredibly disrespectful but also seemed completely uneducated on the equipment. When renting a trailer, you rely on the staff to understand the towing capacity, hookup procedures, and lighting checks. The employee here had a terrible attitude when I asked basic questions about the trailer and seemed annoyed that I expected assistance. It is unacceptable to have unknowledgeable staff managing towing equipment. I would not recommend this location to anyone who wants to feel safe and respected during their move. Management needs to retrain this staff member immediately.

Worst UHaul experience ever. My reservation was for 0900, I showed up at 0855. There was a SUPER long queue for pick up, I was the nineteenth. I left with my truck at 1115. 2 hours 20 minutes standing in queue to pick up a van. The parking was never plowed so snow was just left there. Some cars had trouble going in and out. My need for the van was fast, so I returned it after 2 hours. As I drove in to return the van, a customer I had seen before was still there waiting...
