Busy morning for me as it turns out and I had forgotten my face mask. The early morning clerk graciously went to HIS car and GAVE me one! Needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled because my day time-wise would of been ruined. Upon my return, another gentleman who inspected the truck and wrote the final bill, was equally professional and courteous. I had questions & comments about certain trucks, insurance etc. He took the TIME to chat and was enthusiastic, informative, and kind. I really enjoy going to the U-Haul de MontrÃ©al-Ouest--the 10 foot truck is a joy to ride, always clean and the customer service there is superb, Thank you! *side note for future reference & safety* U-HAUL Corporation must invest into putting WINTER tires on all they're merchandise. Why? Quebec winters on the road aren't easily navigated on four season tires in ice & snow!VERONIQUE R.

J'ai rÃ©servÃ© la voiture un mois Ã l'avance, en indiquant l'adresse oÃ¹ je voulais la prendre et celle oÃ¹ je voulais la livrer. Deux jours avant la date prÃ©vue, j'ai reÃ§u un appel me proposant de prendre la voiture Ã un autre endroit (non loin du prÃ©cÃ©dent) et de la rendre au mÃªme endroit. Bien que le voyage ait eu lieu de Moneral Ã la Rive Sud, ce qui reprÃ©sente 20 km supplÃ©mentaires sur la route. On m'a donc proposÃ© un lieu de remplacement et promis une remise. Ils ont promis de ne pas compter le kilomÃ©trage sur le chemin du retour. En consÃ©quence, aucune remise ne m'a Ã©tÃ© accordÃ©e et mes lettres sont restÃ©es sans rÃ©ponse. Bien que j'aie demandÃ© une rÃ©ponse Ã©crite par courriel, car la commande a Ã©tÃ© passÃ©e au nom de mon mari et son numÃ©ro de tÃ©lÃ©phone a Ã©tÃ© indiquÃ©, et il ne parle pas franÃ§ais. There was only 1 staff member on duty. We had to wait over 1 hour to pick up our truck. The interior was not the cleanest, with something sticky on the floor. The truck made an awful whistling like sound when in motion. I have used this location a few times, this was not U-Haul at its bestAlbert P.

On a Friday morning at a 9am rush there was one employee. It took me 45 minutes to get my trailer, a real waste of time standing in line wheel I had people waiting on me to load. Staffing appropriately would be a good idea. When returning it mid afternoon, 2 people on staff with no clients, not the best use of staff once again.denis D.

I was only disappointed by my reservation. The Truck wasnt available As booked. Can be stressful to manage another reservation ans go somewhere else to pickup another Truck. Finally all was fine , thanks to the kind personnelANAIS K.
We had to wait an hour in line to pick-up our rental. Some people had registered online to skip the line and they still had to wait an hour. I got charged for the gas at the end, but no one told me I had to give it back with a minimum amount.Laurence B.

It was a very isolated location for newcomers to the area. Plus the lock that held the key to our truck was in really bad shape and we were "lucky" after struggling for quite a while to get the lock open. Plus, the amount of time it took us to have someone to connect with (we were doing the virtual sign in) was VERY long and trying to upload photos was a terrible experience. When traveling for a long distance (as we were) arriving after the store had closed, with the location being so isolated and taking a VERY long time to get all the things done that you needed to actually obtain our truck, was a very troubling experience.Richard C.

I think the person should have shown me a little bit more about the truck - to ensure I knew how to use it properly - we had trouble getting the ramp back in once we took it out, and also there was no user manual for the truck in the vehicle, so I wasn't sure about using the wipers, or adjusting the mirror. These are things they should show you before you drive away if they aren't going to provide a manual.Melissa D.

Le personnel a été courtois, poli et les lieux sont beaux, propres et sécuraires. Cependant je suis extrêmement insatisfait du système de réservations. J'ai réservé un entrepôt 7pi x 14pi il y a 5 semaines et j'ai obtenu confirmation. Le jour d'emménager, on me dit que tout ce qu'il reste est un 5pi x 5pi. Il n'y a même pas la moitié de mes choses qui peut fitter à l'intérieur et ça me met évidemment dans le trouble. On ne m'a offert aucun autre dédommagement autre que de mettre mon nom sur une liste au cas où quelque chose se libérerait éventuellement...Mathieu D. | First Impressions
Evaluation based upon procedure and not upon the service. Service was excellent. Rental Process is cumbersome and too long especially if one's movers are waiting for the registration to be completed since the movers are being paid by the hour. Your website indicated that our unit was sufficient for our 3.5 appartment. It was absolutely not sufficient and when I inquired about renting another space i was told there were none available. As it is we have had to split the apartment storage which is not the best solution! The staff knowing this problem did not suggest any other solutions, offer to call up other locations for us, or make any accommodations. In addition the sign in procedure is very strange, using one keypad to log in and then another to open the door to the rental spaces. I'm not sure I could manage that trick again and it didn't even work the first time I tried it.Andrea R. | Online Move In
