Worse experience I have The clerk say he will hook up the car hauler trailer to the Uhaul pickup to make sure it is properly hook up and it is for my safety. Departure from location I go pickup my car a soon start rolling the car on the ramp of the car hauler the trailer uncouple from hitch ball. I was scare for my life. The cleck did not sit properly the coupler of the trailer on hitch ball. Since U-Haul use coupler where turn a knob to clamp on the hitch ball it easy to feel it seat properly couple since the knob doesn't turn any more but in fact the clerck did clamp the coupler on top of the hitch ball and not a the base of the hitch ball. I was relly difficulte to re pin the trailer on the hitch ball. I call the location I did speak to the manager did refuse to give me any kind of compensation. I did call uhaul Canada and open complain after insisted to complain agent to call the manager only get a refund for the trailer. Did is not acceptable this could end in catastrophic failure if the trailer uncouple on the highway

Continue to serve your customers as you have done so. Staff are courteous and professional. I have used this location several times in the last year and have found the experiences to be rated A-One. If anyone asks me about truck rentals, I recommend U-Haul @Montreal West.

Make sure to have more staff working on busy weekends, like long weekends, when we got there on saturday Morning (labour day weekend) there was only one person working, which caused a delay in service.

Loved every detail of my rental from customer sevice to the advice to on-site friendlyness of staff and knowledge. Maybe consider more staff. Poor guy at the counter was all alone for 4 ppl waiting in line. That's just wrong!

Naturally construction of roadways does not help... Staff is excellent. Equipment is in good condition. You should wash the inside of the windows so that we can see when sunlight or headlights.

The rental was good and your people at THIS location (Alexandre and Marc-André) were both very friendly and professional. Great for that portion! . The way to your location is not good: with all the construction sites around it, it was quite difficult and time consuming! The "welcome" at your other location on top of the hill was a disaster!! Change the address so the Taxi's and Uber drivers know where to pick you up from using GPS.

If you do not get a more specific address it is hard to tell people how to get there for the first time. Plus when you return after closing and call UBER or TAXI they cannot figure out where it is with GPS as the address listed takes all users of the GPS to the other side of the highway.

Your integrated IT system for customer experience is great- booking based on real-time inventory, etc. The system seems very slow though, mostly for your colleagues in the call centre and at the front desk...

I would recommend only if they will rent a 4hours block in the morning only. I had trouble returning the van and drop the keys. the mobile system would not work and the location closed their doors before closing time. I'm really not impressed by the customer service. Luckily I speak English and was able to call at the customer service phone line probably somewhere in the U.S. and the lady was able to fix everything for me. I've worked in stores and customer service all my life and never did we kick out people at exactly 5pm closing time or never did I hang up the phone on a call if my shift was up. If you can't pay the guy for an extra 15 minutes there is a problem. Closing time was 5pm not 4:45pm. This is unacceptable.

Sort out your UHaul online reservation system. My wife, 32 weeks pregnant with twins, and I carefully mapped out and booked our UHaul rental for the location close to our home to go pick up all of the baby furniture we'll need for the coming month. Instead of a smooth pickup, we were informed that our reservation was cancelled and booked at another UHaul about 10km away. All we received was an additional email the day before informing us of a rental at a UHaul location I did not select. Some asshole at that location (2000 rue Notre Dame E., Montreal, QC) working there yelled at me when I called to say I didn't make the reservation. No one informed me that the initial cargo van I rented was not available. No one cancelled my reservation. I did not receive an email to tell me that there was a change or cancellation to my initial reservation. The jerk I spoke with at the Notre Dame location kept yelling that he could not see the other reservation as though that were my fault. He ended up cancelling it on me with no explanation, despite my request to keep my initial reservation. We ended up spending and extra $25 in cab rides to get to the Montreal West location after the nice guy at the St. Jacques location made a manual reservation for us. The guy at the Mo West location was great, but the system tried to charge us for 2 full days when we returned the van shortly after close. We were nearly 1.5hrs late getting on our way due to UHaul's screw ups. You have been in the business a very long time, and we expect better treatment, especially after having used UHaul numerous times for many years. Not impressed at all.
