Deux jours avant la date prÃ©vue, j'ai reÃ§u un appel me proposant de prendre la voiture Ã un autre endroit (non loin du prÃ©cÃ©dent) et de la rendre au mÃªme endroit. Bien que le voyage ait eu lieu de Moneral Ã la Rive Sud, ce qui reprÃ©sente 20 km supplÃ©mentaires sur la route. On m'a donc proposÃ© un lieu de remplacement et promis une remise. Ils ont promis de ne pas compter le kilomÃ©trage sur le chemin du retour. En consÃ©quence, aucune remise ne m'a Ã©tÃ© accordÃ©e et mes lettres sont restÃ©es sans rÃ©ponse. There was only 1 staff member on duty. We had to wait over 1 hour to pick up our truck. The interior was not the cleanest, with something sticky on the floor. The truck made an awful whistling like sound when in motion. I have used this location a few times, this was not U-Haul at its bestAlbert P.

On a Friday morning at a 9am rush there was one employee. It took me 45 minutes to get my trailer, a real waste of time standing in line wheel I had people waiting on me to load. Staffing appropriately would be a good idea. When returning it mid afternoon, 2 people on staff with no clients, not the best use of staff once again.denis D.

I was only disappointed by my reservation. The Truck wasnt available As booked. Can be stressful to manage another reservation ans go somewhere else to pickup another Truck. Finally all was fine , thanks to the kind personnelANAIS K.
We had to wait an hour in line to pick-up our rental. Some people had registered online to skip the line and they still had to wait an hour. I got charged for the gas at the end, but no one told me I had to give it back with a minimum amount.Laurence B.

It was a very isolated location for newcomers to the area. Plus the lock that held the key to our truck was in really bad shape and we were "lucky" after struggling for quite a while to get the lock open. Plus, the amount of time it took us to have someone to connect with (we were doing the virtual sign in) was VERY long and trying to upload photos was a terrible experience. When traveling for a long distance (as we were) arriving after the store had closed, with the location being so isolated and taking a VERY long time to get all the things done that you needed to actually obtain our truck, was a very troubling experience.Richard C.

I think the person should have shown me a little bit more about the truck - to ensure I knew how to use it properly - we had trouble getting the ramp back in once we took it out, and also there was no user manual for the truck in the vehicle, so I wasn't sure about using the wipers, or adjusting the mirror. These are things they should show you before you drive away if they aren't going to provide a manual.Melissa D.

I tried to return the truck after hours. The â€œShare my location â€œ link would not work. I had a message saying my location could not be determined even though I had location services turned on. There was another customer in the same situation that arrived right after me. I called the customer service and spoke to a lady who told me she was transferring me but instead got put on waiting back in the main room queue for almost 45 min . All that while my kids were waiting in the car. Then next morning I realized I got charged an extra 20$ for after service return. I called the branch and spoke to a very rude gentleman who straight up told me he can't do nothing for me and I should call the customer service. Worst experience ever.Abdoul B.

Staff and manager were respectful and supportive. They re were issues with the mileage but they followed up and addressed the matter without hesitation. Manager was on site, accessible and professional. I was content with service despite issues that occurred.Steven B.
The number of employees available at the site were very few. At the counter, I felt a bit pressure since my reservation procedure was taking too long for the people waiting behind me. As a first timer, the van was great to drive on highway (the van does not, however, react well to normal potholes in all over MontrÃ©al and sometimes the bouncing feels like La Ronde). Van was fairly spacious for my friends studio appartement, but It took me a while to find the truck and get the hang of the buttons since no-one was present to show me or give me tips. I literally had to pull out a U-Haul: How to drive a truck article and read for 10-15 minutes. The return experience without contact was really good and could get better by adding this additional step for the return of the key: before sliding the key into the key drop off box, a scanner reads the barcode on the key and generates a random code on the screen. Then, the code has to be entered inside of the last page for the online return procedure. This could make the costumer more relieved that the key is really secured and no further responsibility is required.Ali H.

Le personnel a été courtois, poli et les lieux sont beaux, propres et sécuraires. Cependant je suis extrêmement insatisfait du système de réservations. J'ai réservé un entrepôt 7pi x 14pi il y a 5 semaines et j'ai obtenu confirmation. Le jour d'emménager, on me dit que tout ce qu'il reste est un 5pi x 5pi. Il n'y a même pas la moitié de mes choses qui peut fitter à l'intérieur et ça me met évidemment dans le trouble. Evaluation based upon procedure and not upon the service. Service was excellent. Rental Process is cumbersome and too long especially if one's movers are waiting for the registration to be completed since the movers are being paid by the hour. Your website indicated that our unit was sufficient for our 3.5 appartment. It was absolutely not sufficient and when I inquired about renting another space i was told there were none available. As it is we have had to split the apartment storage which is not the best solution! The staff knowing this problem did not suggest any other solutions, offer to call up other locations for us, or make any accommodations. In addition the sign in procedure is very strange, using one keypad to log in and then another to open the door to the rental spaces.
