MONIQUE HWas hung up on 3 times to make a reservation and when it came time to pick up the trailer it was not at the pickup center on Mance street but somewhere in St. Hubert! The gentleman at the counter was very professional and I finished by renting a smaller closed trailer. Had to rent it for two days to compensate for the smaller size!

ABDELLAH MJ'ai loue un camion a 8:00h le matin et je l'ai retourne a 18:30h la meme journee et on m'a facture 2 jours de location pretextant que je l'avais retourne apres la fermeture des bureaux sans que personne ne m'en ait averti d'avance. je considere qu'une journee est de 24 heures, pas de 8 heures.
BERTRAND MTruck was not clean, gear shifter hard to use, they charged me extra for gaz, even though i filled truck over required at return, you should look over this location operation, a lot of people complain about over charging fees.

DANIEL CLes vendeurs en magasin m’ont très mal parlé et ont essayé de me forcer par 2 fois à devoir prendre une assurance au montant de 19$ pour ma fourgonnette en justifiant leur demande par le fait de dire que les véhicules n’appartenaient pas à la compagnie (mais à un fournisseur américain) et que si je ne prenais pas l’assurance ils ne me donneraient pas le véhicule. Finalement, grâce à l’application mobile, j’ai pu finaliser ma réservation et louer le véhicule. Le fait de dire que l’assurance est obligatoire est une information mensongère pouvant être qualifiée de vente frauduleuse. Il serait plus professionnel de dire aux clients la vérité et stipulant que toute assurance est facultative dans un contrat de location.

SERGE DAucun parking disponible, il fallait que je me park dans une rue 120 minutes File d’attente infinie Le camion était tellement désuet, il siphonnait le gaz, j’ai payé 15$ de gaz pour 13 km parcourus, c’est insensé. L’application pour mettre les photos ne fonctionnait pas, j’ai perdu beaucoup de temps à essayer de mettre les photos pour finalement me faire dire que je peux les garder dans mon téléphone et c’est ok.

GUILLAUME LCustomer service was rude. No explanation was given. We paid 5$ extra to get blankets. It is not mentionned anywhere that we need to fold the blankets prior to returning the truck. The agent did not gove us this information either. An extra 20$ was charged for the blankets not being folded. This is ridiculous. We want a refund.

GEORGES PLors du retour de location, on m'a fait balayer des débris de verre dans le camion sous menace d'avoir à payer 40$ de frais alors que je n'ai même pas transporté de verre. Votre employé a prétexté qu'il lavait son camion chaque matin et que c'était de ma faute s’il y avait du verre dans le camion. Pour ne pas avoir à payer, j'ai nettoyé le camion. Mais je me suis bien promis de ne plus faire affaire avec votre entreprise. La parole du client de compte-pas chez vous?

LISA BThe manager at this location added 45 km that i did not do. They insisted that they sent me by text a picture ok the km on the truck on the day of the rental. That was an outright lie. They had no proof of the km on the truck prior to my departure. They tried to add on that extra charge. I will never rent a U-Haul again and i will warn others of the overcharge U-Haul tries to tack on

Sophie LIt took more than one hour to obtain the keys of the van I rented online even if I filles the check in using U-Haul’s application. The guy at the counter was on his phone during all the time he was treating my reservation. Very disappointing service.

EMMANUEL BWorst experience ever. I was told the day before my moving that there was no trucks near me for my moving. I had to tell my friends to take a truck to me and cost me a lot more gas then expected (200$ more) which Uhaul never wanted to pay me for. Once I came to put my stock in the locker, the locker conditions were horrible. Rust and holes everywhere. So much that I need two people to access my locker else I cannot open or close it. On top of that there was broken glass and concret blocks in front of it that made it almost impossible for us to put my appliances in. My friends almost cut themselves and broke their backs trying to get around this mess. DO NOT TAKE UHAUL.

Stefan BI booked a trailer online at this branch. It's not the first time. I was quoted a price for a 24-hour rental. However, once I arrived, I was told that the confirmed rate was no longer valid and that I would have to pay for a second day if I didn't return the trailer by 8 PM that same day. So, I ended up having to pay for a second day. I don't think it's honest for a company not to honor the agreed-upon price. It's frustrating that the branch doesn't respect the price agreed upon at the time of booking. It's not just about money, it's a matter of principle. If prices and conditions vary depending on the time of year, your booking system should reflect this and not force the customer to accept a different price once they arrive at the branch. ALAIN LExcellent people, lousy application that reserved my equipment in a different place even though I did reserve it at St-Hubert, my equipment was reserved in Lachine....no wonder you just got a 2.2 rating...even the employee told me not to use the app but to call to reserve. Unfortunately they don't answer the phone when they are serving customers...which means those days the only way to reserve is to go physically at the store to do the reservation...in 2026, really?

LOUKOU FI called to ask if they were space for parking my car, they said yes. When I arrived there, there was no space. when asked where i could park my car they said in rue la grande allée, they said i will not have a ticket, when I came back I had a parking ticket, This is terrible, + i had rent a mini van, and they said I need two identification card, that was the first time they asled for two, i had to change for a 10' truck, that cost me way more in gaz.

Jamie LThe service inside was very slow. Even if I said that I have an urgent appointment, they took their time and it took me more than 30 minutes to pick-up a trailer that I already reserve. When I go outside to get the trailer... samething... It take me 10 to 15 minutes before I get served. I miss my appointement du to the poor customer service at this location. It is the last time I go there. This is the worst location to rent something. I always appreciate U-Haul but this location don't give U-Haul a good image to the company.

david WThe equipment was fine, no issue with it. But at time of rental, the staff member i was dealing with refused to let me decline the optional insurance (the CDW). He use all sort of excuse. "You can't refuse for the Cargo Van because U-Haul don't own them, the dealership make the rules". I say I could refuse online : "It's different in Quebec, U-Haul is currently updating the app", etc... He would not let me have the vehicle without accepting and I didn't have the time to argue even if I knew he was lying... I already rent here in the past and it's the first time I have a bad experience

DINO LStaff was courteous, but several issues affected my experience: the final bill was higher than the quote with no clear explanation. The truck had a burned-out headlight (flagged by another customer), a tire at 33 PSI instead of 80, and a tire pressure warning that persisted after reinflating. Fuel consumption was also abnormal — roughly 30L for 50km — suggesting a mechanical issue. The vehicle should not have been rented out in this condition.
Jean-Nicolas GJ’ai demandé un 10 pieds et il m’ont donné un 15 pieds finalement au prix du 10 pieds, mais niveau consommation d’essence j’écope tout de même du fait que le 15 pied consomme plus donc en essence cela me revient beaucoup plus cher que si j’avais eu le 10 pieds tel que demandé. Les 2 agents du service de location ne pouvaient rien faire et je dois appeler moi même le service de comptabilité.
Loriane BI arrive there and my reservation was not available. After they propose to me an alternatives more expensive. I told them that on your site, it say the you pay us 50$ if our reservation is not available and he answer that is not true, wtf?? So I pay extra to have another trailer that fit my need but that trailer had the 12v connecter broken and told me it was my car. I show them the connecter that the wire was all strip and broken. Then they gave me another trailer. All that took 1hour and i was late for my pickup.
Simon DEmployees seemed to know what they were doing and explained the rental process well. I booked a truck online and went to the pick-up location. This location does seem understaffed, which was confirmed by the "we're hiring" sign. Would have been nice if the extra items I reserved (dolly and blankets) were already in the truck I reserved, but I had to load them myself. No big deal, but it would have been a nice touch. Thank you.

ISABELLE MLe bâtiment est vieux et a besoin d'amour, pas d'ascenseur, le doc de réception est très mal positionner... pas de stationnement pour les voitures. Très décevant comme expérience, mais je tiens quand même à mentionner que la dame qui m'a servi hier et qui a fermé mon unité m'a donné un service à la clientèle exceptionnelle, elle a bien ciblé mon besoin et a répondu a mes attentes a 100%. Vous avez du bons personnels, mais les fonctionnalités de l'espace laisse grandement à désirer.

Jorge G | Overall Experience- The light inside the container didn't work so we had to provide our own lighting. - A truck was left in the parking lot near the closing time (7pm) and we had to ask a clerk to move the truck so we can get out. It took a while for him to understand - When we moved out of the container a month later, a lot of the stuff was soaking wet, so i'm guessing there were leaks in the roof or elsewhere - Even though I had reserved the container of the 5th of the month, It was renewed on the 1st of the following month and I had scheduled the move out for the 2nd. So I end up paying for two months even though I only used one and it seems they are not refunding the cost pro-rated so i'm screwed.

Thing is there was a glitch on there own website when I got to pay the second locker it prepaid the same one again! Back to square one a month later, Secondly, at first visit my wife found mousetraps on second floor hallways that made us second guess storing all of our valuable belongings here. Now yesterday we installed mousetraps and not 24hrs later we caught one in our locker on the second floor!! Manager gave me one month free on one locker but let’s get real here if we get mouse crap 💩 all over, my two 3500$ leather sofas and 1000$ mattresses get mouse wholes all over it’s not a one 206$ free month that will cover anything!! Should look elsewhere for storage!! Install LED lighting in lockers, it’s pitch dark! Garage door access impossible to back a trailer flush to, with there parking lot layout and multiple levels make moving furniture and appliances difficult even on the first floor! Second floor accessibility by stairs only!

Wilder B | Overall ExperienceThe date shows I left emptied the storage on April 4. This is INCORRECT. I emptied the storage unit 1077 at 2771 Rue Mance in Saint Hubert on March 11. It was a busy day that day so I did not go to the counter to confirm storage unit1077 was emptied but i did call on march 25 to confirm. I was then told I would receive a confirmation but did not and then I was sent a bill + late charges on April 3. I have called numerous times to receive this confirmation but NO ONE at The 2771 Mance location EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I have records of my calls on the dates outlined and even audio recordings. i am frustrated with this situation. While the facilities were fine, the management is very irresponsible and the customer service is seriously lacking. I am a good client of U-Haul but have wasted a lot of time with this negligent behavior. All I have requested for weeks now is a confirmation that the unit was emptied on time, which it was and that no further charges would be incurred.

Overall, was a disappointing experience unfortunately

shane b | Overall ExperienceThe storage unit had holes in the roof and leaked water over all of my belongings for 18 months. When I opened the door everything was covered in black mold. Most of my furniture was priceless antiques, well over 150 years old. I was crushed, I had to get rid of my clothes, linens, furniture, anything that wasn't ceramic or stainless was destroyed completely. Dont ever store your precious belongings at a U-Haul.

J'ai dû insister au niveau de la centeale pour avoir une reponse.
Bake N | Overall ExperienceToutes mes choses étaient couvertes d'urine et de crottes de souris. Quand j'ai ouverts mes boîtes, il y avaient des crottes de souris en dedans. Les souris ont mangé mes meubles, chier partout dans les boîtes. Le pire c'est que lorsque j'ai trié mes choses en jetant 1/3 de mes possessions chéris dans la poubelle, et j'ai déménagé ce que j'ai gardé dans mon appartement, il y avait des souris vivant dans mes boîtes!! Donc je suis enragée et traumatisée par rapport à cela et je ne recommenderais JAMAIS cette service. ====================================================== All my things are covered in rat droppings. The rats ate through my furniture and boxes, leaving poop all through my things. I sorted through my stuff to throw out 1/3 the ruined things and most damaged stuff. When I moved my stuff out of the storage into my apartment, their were live rats inside a box!!! Do NOT rent storage in this disgusting facility.

Toutes mes boîtes ont été rongées par des souris (ou un autre rongeurs que je ne connaîs pas !?! ) , toutes mes boîtes ont des excrément de ces bestioles. Mon divan blanc en plume d'oie doit être jeter. On ne parle pas du service INTERMINABLE, attendre plus d'une heure en ligne pour du service... Et de plus, j'ai vidé mon local deux jours après le début du mois à payer et u-haul ne rembourse pas au les journées non-utilisées, entre vous et moi, c'est du vol ! Vous devriez faire quelque chose pour améliorer la situation car juste en ligne d'attente TOUS les gens étaient dépassés par le service médiocre. Je ne recommanderai plus jamais u-haul. < Marie-Ève
