Maybe put a new battier in the truck before you rent it!!! I stop for gas in Indio CA, Fill up and bought a sandwich. Then, the truck would'nt start I tried to download the U-haul app, that got me nowhere, then tried to call, You guys don't answer calls!. But the recorded massage said my wait time would be less than 5 minutes, 35 minutes later I was disconnected. After 2 hours of this Bullshit I called my wife and asked her to try to get a hold of someone. She finally did, she told them My truck would'nt start and they said they would send out someone with a NEW battier, So 6 Hours and 16 minutes in 105 degrees !!! I Ieft the gas station, absolute Bullshit !!! I would like a refund !!! Will not Recommend.

The inside of the trailer was not swept out, it still had debris left in it. As long as i don't get charged for it, i guess it's fine for what I needed it for. I didn't have any debris left in it. Overall, i would rent here again. He associates were very nice and helpful.

The fact that I filled up the tank that much and got no refund but instead got charged more for somehow going over the mileage even though we dropped it off at the proper location, and got no refund for filling the tank more than the line by almost 3/4 of a tank is ridiculous. Not to mention you guys did not have my preferred truck size so I couldn't even get all of my stuff to my new home and now have to use even more gas to get all the rest of my stuff there. U-Haul is a scam.

Awful uhaul experience. First reservation no vehicle/ moved much further then closed for lunch for 3 hours followed by rude customer service and an attitude where no one took any responsibility! Still waiting for anmanager to reach out!!!

We received the van with almost no fuel, quoted $.49 cents a mile for travel. Then when we returned it after driving about 25 miles, using NO more fuel than it had originally. We were charged $.89 cents a mile and for 6 gallons of fuel. We will look at using a different company in the future, and share our poor experience with others.

I was one of the customers affected by the back door being locked at the time of pickup. When I arrived at my destination, I discovered that the lock was still in place and I was unable to open the door. As a result, I had to return to your location to have it unlocked. This caused a significant delay and created a major disruption to my schedule. I would appreciate your attention to this matter to help prevent it from happening in the future. I’ve been renting from U-Haul across the US for the past 18 years. This is my very first negative experience. And this is my 3rd time using this specific location recently. I needed a truck for a few hours to pick up some furniture. The app is super useful to do self check in. Love the convenience. Today, the app allowed me to reserve a truck and I went through the check in process and I always skip the (optional) step of giving an extra contact number for emergencies. I’ve never had to give one before as it shows up as an optional and not required step. As I arrived, there was a glitch with the app that didn’t allow me to proceed to the final step of pick up process. So I went inside to get assistance. The attendant was able to pull up my reservation and continue the check in process for me. They proceeded to ask for an alternative contact for emergencies and I mentioned I always opt out of that. Another attendant stepped in and said, matter of factly, “It’s a required step.” As I had just used this location recently I was put off guard a little bit and just asked if I could see the policy update and asked what changed and he responded that “its always been the policy of this location, if you don’t like it you can go rent somewhere else” I think their name was Alan? I did ask for the policy in writing again and then he proceeded to pull up google and began reading the Google AI summation of U-Haul’s policies to which I did call him out for using AI instead of referring to the actual website where it states that leaving an alternate contact is required because if the app had just worked I wouldn’t not have had to leave a contact as it was optional. And one of the previous visits to this location I had assistance with a rental inside because the photos weren’t loading and I didn’t have to leave an alternate contact then either. I was pressed for time and didn’t want to spend any more time with someone who couldn’t budge from his stance on the matter. Perhaps that is, in fact the policy, but in my 18 years of using your service, that was the first time I was required to give an alternate number. I will be going to a different location going forward even though this one is ideally located.

Nothing at all... your staff patiently worked to resolve a wiring issue that turned out to be a minor problem on my rig and even though it was raining, we worked together to identify the issue and get me on the road in just a few minutes. Awesome!

Alexis was very helpful although I had a very bad experience with management. Management would not answer his calls for help taking almost 2 hours of my time to unlock my unit. I was not able to get my unit until the following day incruing another day fee which I am not going to pay due to now being my fault

Unfortunately we were not able to get the storage size we needed so it was a hassle to load a trailer and our belongings not fit in the storage unit. However, Jose and Kevin were amazing! They were extremely helpful and willing to go above and beyond for my husband and I. Great customer service!

This is by far the worst experience I ever have had!!! The facility is so dirty and the unit was filthy had a huge rat trap inside no lock included, looked as though the unit has been broken into recently. There are homeless people, and gang. Members lurking about . I am going there tomorrow to ask for a refund and gather my things and move them some where else. I'm appalled especially since I had to pay $137 for one months rent and

All was well with the unit, it was clean and had no issues while driving. Tow dolly functioned properly except for one small issue. One of the chain links that is tied around the car frame was hooked to the dolly end to end. The chain link was also twisted and tense, so I could not unhook it from the dolly to wrap on the car frame. I used an extra strap to tie the frame with the chain. Overall small issue, still happy with the service.

The truck was excellent. The staff at the storage unit was also excellent. The facility itself needs a little upgrading. Needs more carts on the Upper Floor to move things down the hallway. Other thank you again for making this experience just a little easier. But I would not recommend that facility. On the count of no elevator and the ceilings are very short made it a little more difficult especially since I am a 6 ft tall man. Have a great day thanks again

Everything was fine, except for the days that I wanted to close out my account. On one day, after waiting 20 minutes for the gentleman to finish fumbling with the printer, I was told he couldn't close my account, and that I would have to return the following day. On the second occasion, I waited for a while - even though the office was open, no one was in the store, or anywhere to be seen on the grounds.
