The pricing on the van turned out to be more than I anticipated based on $19.95/day - paid $107/day + fuel so approx C$125/day. In hind site the trailer would have been a better choice.

I couldn't find how much fuel to refill to, had to go be memory. Crew cabin is not the cleanest. The customer service representative at this location is very smart, responsive, and helpful.

It was a super easy experience picking up, self-inspecting, and dropping off our truck. The only issue we experienced was a somewhat long wait (~30 mins) to pick up the truck. I would recommend arriving early for check-in if you're on a tight schedule.

I was very disappointed to find that there weren't enough furniture dollies available despite booking them well in advance. And then I was asked to buy one! If I reserved two but they have others available for sale why could they not have rented me the one they had for sale? It seems like a very dishonest business practice. I've never had an issue with this location in all the jobs I've done where I've booked trucks through them so it's particularly disappointing that this should happen when I've booked equipment on the weekend when I'm moving to a new home. I'd also booked for a 20' truck but was given a 26. I actually welcomed the extra capacity but it's another sign that things aren't quite right. utility dolly and furniture mats were missing from the truck upon pickup, I had to go back inside and ask for them before I set off. The truck was fine other than the driver's side window handle which was missing its knob and made it difficult to operate. Small thing that doesn't impact the main purpose of the truck. Also bought a mattress bag set with handles and the handles ended up snapping. So it wasn't very useful in the end. In spite of all this, my previous good experiences keep me from not recommending this location. The staff have always been great before but I do feel like I've been had by being asked to buy a dolly.

Rented a pickup for a couple of hours. Put 21 km on vehicle. Filled tank and it took 8,6 litres. Tank could not have been full when vehicle picked up. 8.6 litres fit 21 km????

I picked up a 20 foot truck, the inside of the box was clean, the cab had some dirt in the floor, but the outside if the vehicle had not been cleaned, not even the windshield. When I started the truck it was idling rough, and misfired the whole trip. I wasn't even sure it was going to make the journey and likely burned through a lot more fuel than it would have. Brakes were clunky and noisy which was concerning when driving a full load through 3 major mountain ranges

Make sure all tyres are inflated and no punctures are present. Only noticed after we arrived home and loaded the trailer. Had to use my own tyre inflator to keep it going throughout the day.

Check out could be faster ... the physical part disconnecting is fine, but the app that your employees use seems very cumbersome / slow. Not just this time but every time I return a trailer.

Make the online booking more seamless. After scanning driver's licence, you are required to enter the information on the licence into required boxes. Then there is an online checkin that has to be followed by an online pickup. The checkin should be all that's required. Frustrating to still have to go into office to sort it all out.

The line was disgustingly long to get to a person. It didn't matter if you had previously reserved or not. I was in line for over 1/2 an hour. I wasn't told how the transaction worked. And then when I got the van I was told the money I paid for the accidental damage coverage didn't even cover the roofs which is utter bullshit, since it's already overpriced. The guy who helped me was nice. The other lady seemed overworked and stressed. And wasn't as friendly. I'll be looking for another place to rent in future

There was not a lot of room for parking a car when first arriving. The service was good, however, there was no record at the drop off end that we were arriving. So, the "mystery truck" caused some concern at first, until I explained that this was what we were supposed to do. And that was to lock the truck and come back in the morning to check in officially. The general office and drop off office should have been notified of our intentions.

I rented the 26 foot truck First (old truck) but the hitch was very low so couldn't take up to my street. The hitch would drag cuz it was very low. So had to come back and get a 20 foot one. Wasn't happy to be charged for the mileage I used to return the 26' one and wasted 2 hours of my moving time.

At first the truck seemed clean, as soon as I drove it off the location and got Son directly in front of me, I wasn't able to see the road properly as the windshield was dirty. To pick up the truck, I had to wait in line up for 55 minutes, while I was only the fourth person in the line up. This delay, affected my entire day plan and I was late at my storage facility for 40 minutes. So I had to leave the truck in North Vancouver at the storage facility till next morning. As result: - I had to pay one additional day for the truck and insurance. - I had to arrange a vehicle to get back to my home in Port Coquitlam (36 km) - I had to arrange a vehicle from Port Coquitlam to the storage in the next morning (another 36km) - I was not able to unload the truck in the evening of 29th, and I had to do it in the morning of the 30th. This again ruined another day of my move. I had everything planned back to back for the 30th but I had to stay at storage until 12:30pm to finish unloading. - this made me late at time which I was supposed to vacant my home. And so on ..... Just one additional staff would have solved the problem for two days of my life which was extremely busy and planned every minutes back to back. I am certain this was the concern with others as well who were waiting in the line up for over an hour!!!! And last but not least, once I went to pick up my own vehicle from Uhaul parking, I realized there is a paint damage on my vehicle's door from the Uhaul van which was parked next to my car. I think you heard enough to do an action if you really care about your customer service. May be Uhaul is a reasonable and cost effective option available in market and in some cases the only option, it does not mean customer service to be sacrificed. In the entire time which I was in the line up, I found only one and I repeat only one of the staff members who was really caring about clients and was trying to help us to be served faster and better!

Maintain your vehicles. My truck had no oil in it. Spent hours waiting amd dealing with customer service and no one did anything to help or compensate me for my lost time. I rented the truck for business purposes and I lost money by having this truck today. Not happy

The truck was very dirty on the outside. The windshield was extremely filty and hard to see out of as was a very sunny day. There was dirt in the back. The brakes squeaked so asked the outside guy about it. He tested them said they were fine. Did not wipe steering wheel after he touched it. He said if I had wanted a different truck go back into line up, and what did I expect it was the end of the mth. Lacking in customer service skills!!

Hello I take this opportunity to complain about a problem. I took the truck and left the site, and realized that the place i was going to pick up from, was closed. I returned the vehicle in half an hour, and I was charged $50. I want to see where in contract this is mentioned?and I would also expect to be refunded. Uhaul should be better towards its customers. Thanks

The interior really needed a wipe. There was coffee drips on the steering wheel, which lead me to believe this truck wasn't sanitized at all for Covid purposes. There was a layer of dust and light grime on the dash. Gross.

We had rented the truck for 24 hours at a Surrey location and ended up getting bumped to Coquitlam and only being only allowed to keep the truck for 14 hours. It was the worst experience ever!!! Had we known this is what you were going to do we won't have rented that day. We ended up paying so much more for rental- all the extra mileage and gas!!! It was a total rip-off!!!

The vehicle I rented was the scariest thing I've ever driven in my life. Felt like either the drive shaft was loose or it had one tire that was to big and the breaks maybe need a little lookseee or something because loaded it has none. Staff awesome! Wait time awesome!! white nuckleing it down a hill in the huge scary truck not so awesome. Cheers

Water had leaked into my unit. Destroying my antique ivory screen.... which I paid 3200 for 20 yes ago.... which would have increased the value substantially. Did not feel satisfied with a "shame about your luck" attitude. I was texted the claims number, but was already told by manager that they would not pay that amount. So I guess " shame about my luck "

Great facility. Second floor units are hard to access with heavy objects. A lift would be helpful.
