The first one we went to was closed and had the wrong keys and trucks for us. Customer service then routed us to the next location and that was fine, but for some reason they charged my card and my boyfriends card twice. He will be reaching out to you.

To advertise $19.95 for a rental is a little misleading. At least it should read something like: "$19.95 PLUS MILEAGE", so customers are not surprised when they walk into a store expecting to pay $19.95, and only then are they told it could cost upwards of $40 depending upon mileage. We went a total of 17 miles and our "$19.95" van rental cost over $40.

Rental took over 30 min (I was literally the only customer in there) and the representative kept blaming the computer and having to ask for help. I had a deadline to be in San Antonio by 3:30. It was an hour drive. Walked in the door at 2 PM. I know this because my wife called as I walked Into the door and I could look on my phone. I even asked if I needed to go to another location and her reply was ‘If you want’.. Finally after mentioning that I really need to get on the road before I miss my pickup window for the flooring which closes their warehouse at 3:30 she still wanted to tell me how the computer was messing up and wasn’t in a rush to get it done. Finally hit the road and the truck that was given to me didn’t have a radio that worked and it sounded like a loud motorcycle. I told the tech on drop off and he said ‘yea I think It has an exhaust leak’. So, why was it given to me? It needs major repairs. Luckily after the flooring warehouse told me that they close firmly at 3:30 they stayed open for an additional 15 minutes for me to pick up the flooring. If not I would have had to stay in San Antonio for the night until they re-opened at 7 am or drive all the way back to Austin and head back again and eat the additional round trip miles. Needless to say, I’ve rented dozens of times from Uhaul in the past few years and this was hands down a horrible experience. If the representative didn’t know the system or process then one of the other reps that she kept calling on should have stayed and helped her finish the booking.

Truck was available at time promised, check in process was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and professional. They did forget to put the dolly in the back of the truck but deleted the fee, as they should. Thank you.

Neither the dolly nor the pads were locked. Oddly, I'm just being charged for the dolly that I didn't need. I have my own dolly. I used the pads, but wasn't charged for them. The truck was pretty dirty outside, like someone tried to pour a coke out the passenger window while driving. The indicated fuel was wrong, so I had to correct. All of that had to be corrected while the clock ticked on the rental. I suspect all of this stems from management. I'd bet $100 management looks at customers as the enemy of business, not the actual group to be thanked for the business' existence.

Slow service and mobile check-in required seeing store attendant and waiting in line which voided the usefulness of using mobile pickup/return.

The dude who installed the trailer hitch was kind enough to put my bike rack on as well. Also, the sales manager realized I'd over-paid and issued a refund, so that was also super-rad. Great service!

The traffic/transportation part of my uhaul experience was HORRIBLE. I wouldn’t ever recommend that someone use this as a means of moving their items - due solely to my experience on the arrival/delivery side of this move. Lack of clarity and on-disclosure on the front end lead to hidden charges and a horrible experience trying to get my things and close out my account.

This location purposefully cancelled reservations and forced us into a a larger (not needed) and more expensive unit. We had proof of their actions and they did nothing to compensate. Highly rude too.

Uhaul really need to re-think their cancellation policy!! A reservation for a truck should mean a hold on the truck. If uhaul plans to cancel a reserved truck, they should at least alert the client.

Very easy to start and stop storage service, good customer service. The automatic sliding doors do have a hair trigger but not in a way that compromised security. Only wish is later access hours.

back side units, bottom floor units in multi-level facility not good for storing possessions. The floors are almost always wet, even when not raining. Desk staff are under staffed be ready to wait.

There was water coming in to the unit. All of my boxes were damp, soggy, and some completely falling apart. The concrete outside the unit was slick with grease. I slipped and nearly fell every visit.

I used this facility to drop my U Box from Seattle and deliver it to a local destination only. The delivery service was an absolute failure. Management has refused to address my dispute of the charges

The safety bar at the edge of the loading dock is a safety hazard. Easily rolling items off of the truck is impossible. Injury to the people unloading a truck is pretty much guaranteed.

Very clean facility and I never once had a worry about the safety of my belongings. I only ranked this 4/5 stars, though, because the ACCESS hours were not that convenient for a standard 9-5 job.
