RICHARD WClean the vehicle after it's returned, and before it's rented to someone else. The truck was filthy with personal items still in the front seat. Food crumbs in the cup holders, fingerprints and sticky film on the windows and handles. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk, they acted annoyed with me. No apology or acknowledgment for mistake, they pulled out a different truck which was slightly better, but still filthy. I drove it away, then spent an hour wiping out and disinfecting the cabin, before I could use it. For $2600, the customer service and quality of truck was extremely disappointing. I will not be using U-haul again.
ERIN HThe rep never updated my location correctly when I modified my location, so when I picked up my vehicle, there were all kinds of misunderstandings. When I dropped off my vehicle, the guy checked me out as having lower gas so an extra charge was added, which was incorrect. It’s a good thing I received the notification right then, I was able to call U-Haul who stated that the rep made an error. But the frustrating thing was my money was not put back on my card immediately and I needed it. I have to wait 3 to 5 business days. A huge inconvenience.

KENNETH GWe got a truck. Thats all I know. The rest I’m gonna speculate. Veronica has a smooth operation going on. They had all the equipment and supplies we needed. The staff were quick and pleasant to deal with. If you getting a truck south of the river, this is the place to go.

RICHARD PRude customer service desk person. Initial truck had incorrect gas listed and a low tire pressure light and was beat to heck. What was going on with that?

SANDRA SI used the uhaul truck to move. I kept calling the location and being placed on hold several times. It was super frustrating because I had questions. The gentleman Edward Jr was very nice and helpful at drop off. He had a great personality and made the process easier.
Marivel GI scheduled a mobile pickup for 7:30 am. Called the store and they verified that everything was set up. When I arrived at 7:30, the app said some equipment was unavailable. I had to come back at 9 am when they opened. Please fix your app.

DANIEL BThe location had lots of trucks available & the truck I got was dirty inside the back of the truck ( some kind of purple ink) & the truck had 1/2 tank of gas.
ROSEMARY DI rent for this location quite often, but this rental was by far the worst I've had. Firstly, every time I filled the gas tank up, fuel sprayed out of the tank when full. When this first happened I got covered in fuel on my pants and shoes. Not a good experience. Secondly, the drivers door does not seal all the way, and it looks like the door has been fixed in the past, although not fully. I only noticed this when fully loaded up and on the freeway, else I'd have returned the truck. So I had to travel 20 hours on the freeway with the drivers door ajar. Again Not a good experience. LIke I say I like this location and would use them again, but this experience was not good.

MILKON WService was very slow. Stood in line 30 minutes picking up and returning. On return after waiting in line for what seemed like 30 mins I was told to go back out and drive the truck to some other location for scanning. Very dissaponted that this was not conveyed to me at pickup.
PTRICK BDo not charge me for gas I should not be charged for. I brought it back with more fuel then I took it out with and Y'all waited two days to send a receipt. How many times did y'all use it after I dropped it off? The counter staff are more concerned with avoiding customers than helping them.
KEITH RAll I have ever rented are trailers and they have always been excellent. They ride and track well and work perfectly. The guys in the back are very thorough and helpful in making sure everything is done correctly. My only comments are checking out when picking the trailer up. It always seems to take way longer than it should and there are only maybe 2 or 3 places to park when you come to checkout. It is not clear where people should park when they need to go inside and this makes for a lot of chaos and more parking decisions to where employees seem to always have to ask folks to move their vehicles.

NICHOLAS SRussell was particularly helpful (and Knowledgeable) in successfully unloading my son's low profile Audi from the Auto Transport Trailer. His expertise and knowledge proved to be invaluable.

PATRICK WEveryone was did their job, just didn't seem to be very customer oriented like the lady at the Houston location.
WARREN BI absolutely HATE receiving UHAUL trucks with partial fuel tanks. I got mine at 5/16, tried to add a little gas after 40 mile sof driving by starting the truck at the gas station to check the level, but the gauge did not work the first time. So, I filled more and checked, the gauge worked, and it was WAY over the amount. I know UHAUL does this to gain millions of gallons of free gas every year. This is why I feel taken by you every single time. It's wrong. You need to be like rental car companies, requiring vehicles be returned full.

Allyson FI'm not sure I would recommend based on the lady that checked us out at 7am on a Monday. Maybe with another person who was as helpful and engaging as Elvia at my drop off location in Pharr....I would then recommend the location in Austin. I have had my personal information hacked on the Dark Web with an account I had with AT&T and I was NOT happy at ALL with having to upload my drivers license that has my pic and my birthdate for hackers to get their hands on more sensitive information. Uhaul needs to rethink that in this day and age when hackers are better than ever......if a customer does NOT want their license uploaded I should have another avenue to give that information.
SHANNON MThe person outside made my experience not pleasant. He needs more customer service experience. My hitch had a 1 inch ball he said nah I can’t let you take the trailer with that hitch my job would be on the line. Instead of just saying if you go inside and buy the 2 inch ball I’ll be glad to install that for you with no problem. He set off my alarm while I was inside paying the cashier. He knocked on my glass window hard to let me know he needed to take a picture of the hitch install to the trailer. Not a good experience at all.

The 2 different people I had to talk to one the phone were not that helpful. The
RICHARD JI have reserved a moving dolly for my moving tasks but was told at the desk that no dollies were available. I would appreciate that the reservation web site indicates that there are no dollies at this location, or they are on first come-first serve basis. So that I would plan to get a dolly elsewhere. An employee has offered me an appliance dolly but it was not exactly what I needed, it was heavy and inconvenient.

Teesha R | First Impressionshot units infested with bugs and spiders. never had such a poorly kept storage facility experience like this ever. like i was scared to bring my bins out of storage into my brand new apartment because i was afraid it would be the beginning of an infestation. not sure when the "climate controlled" hours were because i must have missed them every time i went to visit my unit. and the one time i did have to work with staff during move-in they were very impatient and unfriendly. like i won't be using uhaul for storage again and i definitely won't be recommending it to anyone

I made a reservation for a storage unit with drive up access. Furthermore, I called the day before arriving to make sure everything was good to go. I was told everything was fine. I arrived with my truck ready to unload, only to be told they didn't have the 10×20x8 outside drive up access unit available. Very disappointed! What is the point of a reservation if it doesn't hold?

JUDY W | First ImpressionsI was lucky that I had something to cut the green tag off of the door. I wasn't strong enough to break it so I had to go out and get something from the stuff I was storing. Also, I didn't understand that I didn't have to put in my security code every time I went through the door (which is nice) and when I went back in to cut the tag, the alarms went off when I opened the unit. It was pretty scary lol It was early in the morning so Maria one of the cleaners was kind enough to come down from the floor above and help me. She walked me all the way down to the front door showed me how to put my code in and explained that I didn't need to enter it in again until I left. Which I just realized I think I forgot. 🤦 Maybe the access could time out after 3 hours?

Trying to check people in- but that was taking more time off the line of people waiting- even if we were at her station she was taking an exceptional amount of time to check us in. While running two computers/multiple customers at once, she was also answering people on the radio and helping run through those that had “app immediate access”. It’s a good idea and I understand what her intentions were but it was very inefficient.

Manoj B | Overall ExperienceStaff aren’t friendly or professional, but tend to act as though you are a bother. The alarm in the building would be triggered frequently and then turned off, what is the point of that other than to annoy customers, no one ever showed up to see why the alarm was triggered. I cleaned out and cancelled my storage unit the day my monthly rent was due and was charged for another month of rent; that is pretty greedy of Uhaul. I have had some very poor dealings with U-Haul in the past, but this was just greedy and poor customer service.
