Cargo area not swept upon pickup. Leaves and dust throughout. I had to sweep before return. During the move, after loading the vehicle, the vehicle broke down. We waited 1.5 hours for a mechanic, were told by UHAUL that they'd have the full tools necessary to repair. The "mechanics" finally showed up in an unmarked SUV. Tried to get the vehicle started for another 1.5 hours. They were only successful when one of my neighbors stopped by and got it started for them. They were an absolute disaster and should never be sent out by your company again. This set us back 3 hours, standing in the rain. I believe sli should be given a HEFTY discount on services given the faulty vehicle, setback of time, and practically useless mechanics. Thanks for your time. Look forward to hearing from you.

The CubeSmart place located in 2701 Congress Ave in Austin is a clean very organized location. With multiple storage sizes available. It is very clean, temperature controlled. The attendants Randall and Omar were both fantastic in helping us by showing us available storage size, they were both easy going, affable, knowledgeable. I will recommend this place to friends and family.

Rented a 5x9 trailer for a job. When I got to the job site I realized the trailer is actually a little bit over 4 ft by 9 ft. I wasn't able to fit all the equipment I needed to into the trailer. I rented this thinking I was going to save myself a trip but ended up taking me three times longer because the advertise size was wrong. They should advertise this as a 4x9

I picked up the truck and it had a quarter tank of gas. I was told that was the best they could because of space. This really pisses me off- when I pick up a rental vehicle I want it to have a full tank of gas. I don’t want to spend my time doing something that you should have done already. I’m not impressed.

20Plus years of rentals one of the worst experiences I've had. My wife set up a rental online so we had an appointment Once I arrived I let them know that they took my personal information told me where the drop-off was I told them that it was not as close there were closer ones! The lady inform me that going closer to my house it would cost about an extra ten bucks first red flag it cost me less to go further from my house put more miles but cost me more to go closer. After speaking with my wife she had informed me that the price that I paid a 350 something bucks for a one-way from Austin to right outside of Rockwall Texas was incorrect so I go back to the store Once I arrived I was met by a man at the desk which later I find out that he's the GM! So this guy and all his arrogant and condescending attitude is more focused on the fact that he over heard the first lady tell me about the extra $10 dollars but overlooked the fact I'm talking about $200 plus i felt i was speaking to my child wasn't connecting with me after all bill went from $351 to $133 Wow! Case of price gouging at it's finest!! So UHAUL I'd say better training for all especially the GM with a title!!! Also your policy that instructed your employees to take a picture of my Drivers license with there cell phone is big No no.. Where's is the consumers privacy at in that training I guess the company doesn't make enough money to put driver's license scanners on their computers. Beware

We were told to use the online return process when we checked the truck out. We returned the truck at 4pm on Saturday and there was a line of folks doing in person returns (which we weren’t expecting because the posted hours show the place closes at 1:30)... we parked next to similar trucks, used the online return process and when we dropped the keys in the drop box we were yelled at by a heavy set Latino man that “you need to go get the keys and put them in the truck because I’m really busy here”... we said no, we put them in the Dropbox and he yelled “jerks” and then proceeded to go immediately get the truck and get in it and starts to move the truck - blocking our path out.... luckily there was another parking lot nearby I could drive around him.

I received a bill today for 3 days. I asked for 12 hours. I only had it two. I returned when I was supposed to and was chArged a after hours servive fee. It was returned before 4pm like it was suppose to be.

Used phone reservation and could not find truck on the lot. Counter help was reluctant to assist "we don't handle phone pickups". Another younger man at the counter assisted us and very courteous. Used phone res for convenience but it wasn't. Also on checkin had to walk inside to get printed receipt. Looks like UHaul is saving time for the staff, not the customer

I rented a cargo van and returned in the same day during store hours. A staff member told me to just leave the key in the van. But two days later, I got an email receipt stating that I was being charged for two extra days plus $20 after hours service fee!!! I called to ask about this, a lady picked up the phone and told me somebody will call me back. I was waiting for about 5 hours but nobody called. I ended up going to the store to complain. They said they would reimburse me, but when I checked they just reimbursed the two extra days fee, and I still got charged for the $20 after hours service fee. Such a terrible experience I had to deal with.

Front desk rep told me to drive return trailer to the back and a rep would greet me. I drove to the back and couldn’t find anyone even though I was shouting if anyone was here. I went back to front desk and again he told me he would radio person out back. I again went out back and didn’t see anyone. A guy finally came around and was not at all friendly and told me I needed to drive the trailer to him. He must have been having a bad day and I inconvenienced him. He didn’t thank me but only told me I would get receipt in an email.

Tried using ‘truck share’ for the first time. All went well until arrived to pick up the truck. Website couldn’t determine my location (all my setting s were correct - had tested it earlier and received the ‘you don’t appear to be at the correct location’ message) so had to wait in line and go through the rental process at the counter. Rep at the counter (very friendly and helpful) told me they frequently have issues with the site. Otherwise, people and equipment were great and the process was easy breezy.

You can look at your video your manager he is a total dick head, he didn't no how to treat customers, no respect no how you doing be there with you ,oh you need to be in line here but like he is the king, i want you here so i know who is next like we'er trash, i paid you bills (customer), we not know is people on line all he needs to do is ,hi sr we have 3 people on front of you would you mind wait here till other customers ready, but now total dick head, I will not recommend this please it all , i know when you busy you feel you don't have time for manners, i own my own company (5 stars) because my customers are first not trash!!!!

Uhaul really need to re-think their cancellation policy!! A reservation for a truck should mean a hold on the truck. If uhaul plans to cancel a reserved truck, they should at least alert the client.

There was water coming in to the unit. All of my boxes were damp, soggy, and some completely falling apart. The concrete outside the unit was slick with grease. I slipped and nearly fell every visit.

The safety bar at the edge of the loading dock is a safety hazard. Easily rolling items off of the truck is impossible. Injury to the people unloading a truck is pretty much guaranteed.

Clean facility, friendly staff. Easy to sign up for auto-pay and then cancel when no longer needed. I will use again for my storage needs. My favorite part of a storage place is the retail store.

The local facility on Ben White was exceptional. However, when they aren't answering their phones and you get transferred to the call center you get a different experience. Call center was lousy.

Very clean facility and I never once had a worry about the safety of my belongings. I only ranked this 4/5 stars, though, because the ACCESS hours were not that convenient for a standard 9-5 job.
