The after hours return was chaotic. Too many vehicles were returning at once and the driveway was blocked. I would recommend that you stay open later on Sundays to help accommodate the returns. The weekends are too busy a time to have shortened hours.

Ordered a 20ft truck on May 27th. Go to pick up truck on June 12th and no truck available. This is after my credit card had been charged that morning, and received confirmation email about picking up truck at this location. Had to down size to 15ft truck because there wasn't a 20ft truck in the entire Austin area. This was very unfortunate, because all of my stuff couldn't fit in a 15ft truck and would have easily fit into a 20ft truck. Luckily I had great movers who were able to maneuver most of my stuff into the 15 ft truck. I moved 3 hours away and had to be out of apartment that day, so I was left with stuff not being able to fit into truck because of Uhaul's mishap.

I used the mobile app to reserve and pick up the truck. My only complaint was that the truck wasn't where the app said it was. It had to roam the entire lot and by the time I found it, the app had changed the truck number. So I spent 30 minutes wandering around the lot trying to find the right truck.

Truck was clean and ran without any issues. Radio did not work. Broken/missing antenna and the aux input jack did not function.

The location is poorly designed and laid out with no parking and nowhere to turn around and park a trailer. It is over-crowded, with poor design inside, doesn't allow customers to line up or get through the line efficiently. With a better lay-out, parking, and more space to turn and maneuver this would be a fine location.

Your online check in doesn't seem to work. I've rented trailers several times recently and it NEVER works. I'm an IT person in my day job, so it's not user error. Using a modern Windows PC with a browser. When I went to drop the trailers off the online return fails multiple times, then I got it to work. One time your entire technology system was down including phones for calling support. Would be nice if this stuff worked. The local dealer on Ben White in Austin is good.

I arrived Sat. a. m. on time to pick up a 9x12 utility trailer I had reserved online. I was told it was not available due to a late return. Reluctantly, I settled for the next size smaller trailer. Your customer service rep gave me a discount due to this situation which I appreciated. It all worked out; just had to make an extra trip.

Nothing wrong with the location, and very grateful a truck was available. I was 12 minutes late so employees were closing up and I had to use mobile return. Issue with mobile return this is the 2nd time out of 2 times I've had to use it and the 2nd time it kept redirecting to an error page when beginning the return. There was no answer on the customer service line though I waited on hold for at least 25 minutes. After 30-40 minutes of trying, being a woman alone in a secluded place after the remaining employees left, I had to give up and just leave it. It was the same exact issue the last time my husband and I returned a moving van in 2019. It would be nice if there was some QR code to scan at the return site that would make mobile return easier for people with fine dexterity disabilities and would also log the exact time and UHaul return location.

Verify vehicles are in safe working condition and everything works. The 26 foot truck I was given, the brakes were in poor condition, loud squeaking and pulling to the left anytime you break which is a big safety hazard and how you easily roll a truck, ramp was broken another safety hazard since it was broken on its right support bar so the ramp would tilt to the left, can easily lose balance while moving and a battery light came on 30 minutes after I picked it up and left.

I requested to have the drop off close to my Home address and the Uhaul location @ 5201 Denton Hwy, Haltom City, TX 76148. I went to drop off the trailer Tuesday, 6-8 and was told they where full to take the trailer to location @ 8221 Blvd 26 in North Richland Hills, TX. I did so and then was charge a drop off fee of $117.62! I told the clerk in Austin where i wanted to return and she put in a location on I35 in Denton, TX. I never requested that location and should not be charged the drop off fee! I request a credit!

The old lady is EXTREMELY rude. Would never go to that location again. They also set up my drop off at Broken Arrow, when my storage was in S. Peoria! Awful, clueless staff! I had to pay EXTRA for their mess ups!

The following comments have nothing to do with this particular location but my whole experience with the UHaul system. I reserved the vehicle 4 weeks prior to my pickup date for a local move. In the 4 days preceding my move, I was contacted on 3 different occasions with changes to my reservation. The two initial changes dealt with not having the size of truck I had reserved. The last contact was on a Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm, the day before I was scheduled to pick up the truck and equipment for my move, stating they didn't have all of the equipment that I reserved for my move and I would be contacted to find a different location and vehicle to pickup the next day. I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with UHaul to finally have a resolution which ended up with a higher cost and triple the amount of mileage I was going to be charged due to the change in the location of pickup/dropoff for the vehicle. I was told that I would be refunded $50 to cover the cost of the additional mileage I was going to incur. The refund never materialized. Overall, the entire experience was very poor customer service and logistical management of their vehicles and equipment. I will not use UHaul again.

The outside attendant in the equipment drop off area was very rude and unhelpful. He stood there and watched me (a female) struggle with getting the equipment out of my car and did absolutely nothing to assist me.

Very quick drop off. Just drive up to the well marked RETURN area and someone is waiting for you. Even in the pouring rain they took less than 5 minutes. WOW.
