20Plus years of rentals one of the worst experiences I've had. My wife set up a rental online so we had an appointment Once I arrived I let them know that they took my personal information told me where the drop-off was I told them that it was not as close there were closer ones! The lady inform me that going closer to my house it would cost about an extra ten bucks first red flag it cost me less to go further from my house put more miles but cost me more to go closer. After speaking with my wife she had informed me that the price that I paid a 350 something bucks for a one-way from Austin to right outside of Rockwall Texas was incorrect so I go back to the store Once I arrived I was met by a man at the desk which later I find out that he's the GM! So this guy and all his arrogant and condescending attitude is more focused on the fact that he over heard the first lady tell me about the extra $10 dollars but overlooked the fact I'm talking about $200 plus i felt i was speaking to my child wasn't connecting with me after all bill went from $351 to $133 Wow! Case of price gouging at it's finest!! So UHAUL I'd say better training for all especially the GM with a title!!! Also your policy that instructed your employees to take a picture of my Drivers license with there cell phone is big No no.. Where's is the consumers privacy at in that training I guess the company doesn't make enough money to put driver's license scanners on their computers. Beware

More personal response from location rented from. Misplaced my car keys and couldn’t get a response to see if I had left them on counter at original contract. Overall... it was my fault but could not reach anyone at site.

We were told to use the online return process when we checked the truck out. We returned the truck at 4pm on Saturday and there was a line of folks doing in person returns (which we weren’t expecting because the posted hours show the place closes at 1:30)... we parked next to similar trucks, used the online return process and when we dropped the keys in the drop box we were yelled at by a heavy set Latino man that “you need to go get the keys and put them in the truck because I’m really busy here”... we said no, we put them in the Dropbox and he yelled “jerks” and then proceeded to go immediately get the truck and get in it and starts to move the truck - blocking our path out.... luckily there was another parking lot nearby I could drive around him.

I received a bill today for 3 days. I asked for 12 hours. I only had it two. I returned when I was supposed to and was chArged a after hours servive fee. It was returned before 4pm like it was suppose to be.

Used phone reservation and could not find truck on the lot. Counter help was reluctant to assist "we don't handle phone pickups". Another younger man at the counter assisted us and very courteous. Used phone res for convenience but it wasn't. Also on checkin had to walk inside to get printed receipt. Looks like UHaul is saving time for the staff, not the customer

I rented a cargo van and returned in the same day during store hours. A staff member told me to just leave the key in the van. But two days later, I got an email receipt stating that I was being charged for two extra days plus $20 after hours service fee!!! I called to ask about this, a lady picked up the phone and told me somebody will call me back. I was waiting for about 5 hours but nobody called. I ended up going to the store to complain. They said they would reimburse me, but when I checked they just reimbursed the two extra days fee, and I still got charged for the $20 after hours service fee. Such a terrible experience I had to deal with.

No problem with the location But your mobile website would not let me enter 0s in the mileage, so I was not able to check out over the website on my phone. You are a national company with thousands of locations, I feel that your website should work and you should pay for better programmers.
