The employees were friendly and very helpful. The truck only had 1/4 tank of gas upon pick-up. The lady behind the counter stated that this was due to them not having gas tanks on property, but customers are charged when they return trucks with less gas that they are supposed to...why wouldn't this money be used to fill up the trucks at a nearby gas station. The light in the back of the truck was out. As it became later in the evening, we were forced to use our cell phones for lighting. This was very frustrating. I dod not request a dolly or pads, but they were still secured inside the truck as a way to promote additional sales that were not needed. If not requesting additional supplies, please remove them from your trucks. When you do not do this, the customer then becomes responsible for your additional equipment.

During the drive we had turned on the hazard lights which ended up killing the battery of the car attached on the tow dolly. When we returned the vehicle and tow we thought the battery would be a quick jump start. Turns out the battery was completely dead. We had to leave our car at the Uhaul for an hour to go buy a new battery. The team at Ben White allowed us to leave it and even helped us install the new battery and made sure everything was perfect before we left. 10/10 experience! I believe their names were Adam and Josh. They made a worst case scenario, unbelievably better than we could have imagined.

The weekends are a busy time for moving and it didn't seem like there were enough staff to handle the crowd. Though we had a pickup up time scheduled for our rental, there was a very long line and i didn't leave with our moving truck until 35-40 minutes after our scheduled time. It put our whole move behind schedule. Despite the busy crowd, staff were very helpful and professional. Just wish the wait wasn't so long.

I was told when I picked up the trailer that we had until the end of business on the 20th to drop off the trailer. I got there in time and was told that I would be charged $20 for an extra day because it wasn't there by 9:00 am. Can you check into this discrepancy and let me know. Otherwise everything was perfect. Thank you

I was pretty pleased with my service when I arrived to pick up my UHaul. When I came to return it however I wasn't greeted nor was the outside representative friendly or helpful. I had an issue with my payment method so I had to go back into the office which was fine and the clerk who helped inside was very kind and courteous. Your system however was having some difficulties and when she asked for help your clerk was thrown to the wolves by the remainder of your staff. Teamwork, focus on providing good service, and improved communication skills can help your location to improve for the next customer.

Excellent and hard working employees at this location. Maybe one thing to improve is when there's a long line of customers, to talk to them and say stuff like "Hi we'll be with you ASAP", etc. Either way, I had a very good experience renting form here as I have in the past.

Everything was great except for Jason, the dude who put the trailer hitch ball in for me. No customer service, acted like he hated his job, and as he was walking away he put his fingers up to his head like two guns and pretended to shoot himself in the head. Not a good look for your store.

I pre-registered online and did the fast setup so I wouldn't have to wait, when I got there it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to find my account and check me out. My order was wrong and when I went to the back none of the workers greeted or helped me. I had to go back inside bc they put me in for the wrong trailer which took more time. The back of the uhaul had not been swept out and was filthy with mud and dirt. We were not even given a check off paper to distinguish the vehicle conditions prior to renting so we had to ask for one so we wouldn't be charged.

This experience with U-haul was so terrible from start to end that I will never use U-Haul again. I spent 35 minutes on the phone today with billing issues and going over the horrible experience I had with customer service and all I got was a "sorry". This in no way makes up for any of the issues I had. When a customer is at the point of calling customer service because they had an awful experience they are expecting some kind of accountability from the company. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about the terrible experience I had with U-Haul so that they too can take there business else where.

Very busy location but staffed with very conscientious and knowledgeable employees. The service was quick. I would just make sure enough folks man the counter when it's busy. Parking for customers could be improved--not enough.

Awesome to work with! Courteous and attentive! The truck was really nice & clean. I was down with the flu and because I was feeling so bad I had forgotten to load the dolly back into the truck. I called in the next day and explained why and expected them to charge me for the extra day. They didn't. Thanks guys - and ladies! You guys are great!

I called customer service to ensure I had the correct trailer rented, The rep originally attempted to connect the wrong one, then the counter person said return it the following day by 1pm, and I made it by noon and they attempted to charge me for two days.

Scheduling was a pain. I booked in Texas and somehow got a confirmation for pickup in Canada. Then my desired drop off got changed last minute to a place 20 miles away. While it was resolved, I had to reschedule movers and change arrangements I had made with a friend to pick me up.

I added an extra retail item (mattress bag) to my online order, but it was not provided at the time of checkout ( I wasn't billed for it either). I had to make a second trip back to purchase the item which added more stress to an already hectic moving day. Everything else including the truck was great.

When the guy brought the truck around, he hopped out and ran off without saying anything. We were not sure how if he has just forgotten something like one of the dollies. We were not given any instructions. It ended up being self explanatory to drive and open. Although we were on a tight schedule, we waited for him to return for 15 mins but a simple "you're good to go!" would have been appreciated.

What an awful experience. At drop-off, an employee came to the truck to get the keys and assess the condition of the truck. I told him that I kept the truck an extra day and went over the mileage by 14 miles, but that the guys at the pick-up location in Kyle told me that since I was driving donations to storm victims in Beaumont, they would work with me on any overages. Not this guy. He said, "We don't really do that." You're UHaul and you don't believe in charity?? I returned the truck with the same amount of fuel that was in the truck when I checked it out-- according to my contract, that was 5/8 of a tank. He told me that to refuel would be $33. WHAT?! He said that it was actually supposed to be 9/11 of a tank and I returned it 7/11 of a tank. B.S.!! That's not what was on my contract! He told me if I didn't like it, I could drive it back to Kyle (another town 20 miles down the Interstate) and work it out with them. I went next door and put $10 of gas in to get it to wherever he said he wanted it-- and didn't pay the $33 he tried to charge me for the same thing. What a scam!! And a jerk! I returned the truck clean and in great condition. However, there were two divider boards left in the back that I asked if I could put in their dumpster. He actually agreed to let me use their dumpster-- which I was grateful for, BUT, when I went to unload these large boards, he stood by and watched as I wrestled with breaking them in half and began carrying them away. I leaned them against a pole-- telling him that I would move them as soon as I returned from getting gas (so I wouldn't go over my time and get charged for another day). He sat on his ass and pointed to the back of the property, "The dumpster is in the back." Thanks for the help, a-hole. Probably the biggest jerk I've encountered in my life. In the end, he ended up charging me for the extra day and extra miles-- which is fine-- I exceeded the allotment. He also charged be some random $14 fee (which he didn't describe when I asked what my charges were), and he didn't give me the $25 credit for bringing back a clean truck. Beyond that-- he was just such an evil jerk the entire time. I will never go back to this place.
