People were great, very helpful and friendly. The trailer was a lot past it's sell by date. I couldn't lock it because the padlock latch was rusted and actually broken off. The trailer itself was in rough shape; dinged and dented, fenders banged up, very squeaky and noisy when moving. Biggest problem was that the trailer wobbled when in motion. This was both when empty and loaded, so it was not a result of uneven packing. It was like an axle was bent or something was out of alignment and it jerked my car around the entire 12 hour drive. Very convenient having a trailer to move my stuff but before I did it again, I would take it for a test drive before I packed it.

Everything was fine at the Bladensburg Rd location, but I had to go there because you couldn’t give me a 15’ truck at S Capital even though I reserved a week in advance :-(

I chose different pick up and drop off locations and, with no notification, both were changed to two totally inconvenient locations at the last minute. This was not professional at all. Staff were nice and helpful on the phone, mainly the one who changed the drop off location resolving the problem quickly. The drop off location in NY supposedly closes at 18:00, but no one was there at 17:30.

The young lady who assisted me Sunday, Sept 1...I believe her name was Marcela Jones I don't have the contract infront of me but- her customer service was PHENOMENAL & SHE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL in a rather stressful situation we were having with the move. If they could Hire more employees like her & the gentleman working with her that morning.... for the other locations in DC that would be the only improvement because I didn't have good experiences with the other locations but the folks on Bladensburg were excellent despite the angry mobs of customers they were trying to assist.

GET ON THE SAME PAGE! THIS HAS BEEN THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! I AM ACTUALLY EMBARASSED FOR THIS COMPANY THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I HAVE BEEN SILENT PUBLICLY BUT IF MY ISSUES ARE NOT RESOLVED I WILL LET ALL WHO WILL LISTEN HEAR ABOUT THIS VERBALLY AND SOCIALLY! THIS COMPANY NEEDS A COMPLETE OVERHAUL!!!

The guy could not explain to me how much I was getting charged. He initially told me for a 10 ft. one way 50 miles I would pay $184? I reserved this truck with the price no more than $100. When I asked him about it and was about to cancel, I noticed an extra $100 out of the blue was showing as a charge which then he said is a deposit?? The screen initially said $184 but then said just $84 and he couldn't explain why?? The guy also did not appear that he felt like helping anyone, and it was only one person to help 7 people in line before he began helping people.

We received the Uhaul with 3/4 tank of gas from the location in Shawnee, KS. We were under the impression we would get a credit for that portion of the gas that was missing. When we returned the truck at the DC location with a full tank of gas we were told that Uhaul does not issue credits. At a minimum, we should be reimbursed $20 for returning the truck with more gas than we received it with.

There is not enough help at this location. The male staff member took people out of the long queue while others had been waiting for long periods of time. Even with a reservation the wait time was over half an hour. The male staff member kept leaving the desk and going outside

This was one of the worst storage experiences i have ever had. Someone on the facility backed into my storage unit and damaged my door. I was told that it would be fixed but it never was.

Scheduling with this facility was very difficult. It's amazing how hard it was just to schedule a time for my u-box to be returned to me. I will not be recommending U-Haul to friends or family.

I called several days before my u-box was to be picked up to confirm that it would be ready in the morning of the 19th. It wasn't available until 4:30 pm! I received conflicting info, it was frustrati

Rich, the driver who brought my container, was awesome - super communicative, and he got to me on my scheduled delivery date even though I was the last stop and he was on overtime. Thank you so much!

The establishment was poorly ran, and the associate Gary, was very rude and noncompliant. I had to wait 3 hours at the store for the associate to care about where my order is and delivery time.

My girlfriend and I visited to secure a storage unit. The manager of the facility was rude and interruptive towards my girlfriend. He also used expletives and claimed to give me a refund.

What should be simple logistical planning was very difficult. First, I wasn't being charged for a 2nd UBox - it required many calls and a few months to get that fixed. Moving out was also a disaster.
