I closed out my storage units in the middle of the month and was a month to month rental after 11 months. I did not get a refund of the extra time after leaving both units very clean. I am 6'4â€. Not being able to adjust the seat back left me in pain from having to drive with the seat stuck in one position for the multiple trips I had to make. I picked up the van, drove it home, and my wife asked about the dolly.It was not in the the van. I went to Uhaul again and Ivan, was more professional than Lauren. The equipment I was renting was not clean. The check out prior to leaving with the rental equipment was not working properly. There where numerous items broken on the rental equipment, but no way for me to document this prior to leaving since the online system to document this was not working.Jason A.

I rented the cargo van starting at 8:00 a.m. originally for 5 hours. Well I was at the counter I changed it to 9:00 a.m., and they didn't change the end time, so when I got there they told me I had to have it back by 1:00 p.m. instead of 2:00 p.m. because they rented it to somebody else. They also told me I had to give them three phone numbers. I got into an argument with the person that helped me out about the whole thing. I've used this location before and things went well, but I've never been dealt with so rudely in my life as I have with these people that are currently running the shop. If I need to use a U-Haul vehicle in the future, I will probably look at other locations.Michelle B.

The dolly I requested and I believe paid for was not there. I requested the wrong hours and they had reserved the truck for someone else to be picked up by next party 30 min after my scheduled return, which I could not get back by because the storage I reserved, system was down. I ended up getting Avery undesirable location to unload the truck because staff was insisted truck be returned as soon as possible. Having rented from UHaul a number of times before I have a base line on things and how they have changed there. First and foremost is what I suspect is China Flu adoption procedure trying to lessen the contact with customers. In light of the fact that most companies have restored or rescinded those things that would be called normal interaction with customers. This is not the case at UHaul. You now as a customer have to do your own inspection of the vehicle whereby you have to take applicable photos of the current condition of the vehicle based upon the positions of inspection, front/back/side ect. So an employee no longer walks with you to inspect the vehicle. You have to upload these same photos to the UHaul website along with any observable contention of previous damage that has an "X" marking the spot. This is what an employee of the Company should be doing....it's called Customer Service. I am not an employee of the business and shouldn't be expected to perform this duty. The guys managing the front counter would appear that they could not care less (though one did listen to my walk around complaint and did offer the pat answer that the Co. had these policies in place for a couple years) no one made a move to ally my objections to the process. I returned the truck with more gas than when I picked it up and as they were charging me for driving a few miles over the estimated total no credit was giving off of the milage. Perhaps when the gas level is better upon returning a credit of a few miles off of the total would be a good faith offering for renting in the first place. But I suspect that I am barking up the wrong tree with that idea. I needed to rent a truck and that's what I got...no proper greeting upon arrival, smiling is optional. Lame excuses offered when questioning new customer participation. Customer service used to mean something especially with a Company with such a long history, times have changed...but not for the better.Perry V.

Have Friendly associates that help your day ho well, instead of being so Serious with absolutely No Customer Service Skills. Even when we returned the truck with more gas than when we started, the guy opened the back and saw that the blankets weren't folded and instead of being friendly, instead with a strong voice and a suggestion that we fold the blankets in order to avoid a Very Steep charge of $25, he gave us no option and said that the $25 extra would be added to our cost. I got upset and said "No way will I pay that high cost and said I would fold them," I folded them in 3 min but probably you guys had to refold them. Was a Bad experience and will Never go back to that Uhaul!!!!Henry C.

The car I was using was clean. The issue lies with the transmission of the vehicle/ drivetrain. I was driving in the mountain's and had constant knocking and very hard jerks/shifts. Also the gears were not catching and on multiple occasions the RPMs would jump when the gas was pressed, but no increase in MPH. I had to shift down to 3rd gear to get any power out of the vehicle while hauling. Turns out that the tow haul option was no good and I had to disengage that feature. The conditions of maintenance on the vehicle are below standard. The check engine light came on after I had already began my trip. I did not have time to make any alterations to my schedule. Later to find out that under weight/ hauling the vehicle would become dangerous to drive. To put it frankly, I'm not sure how this vehicle ended up in my possession or any one else's. This vehicle is clearly unsafe and very dangerous to drive. The weather did not help the situation, but on multiple occasions I felt as if I was loosing control of the vehicle, I drive a lot and this phrase does not leave my mouth often. Please do not rent this out to anyone one else, it should be deadlined until repairs came be made ordecommissioned.adam C.

I gave an above average because of all reasons except staff. One person was extremely helpful. However everytime I ha e used this location for storage, rental, or just getting boxes, I get no greeting basically ignored and seems like they are being bothered customers are even there. No sense of cust service including mgmt they just sat in office laughing with customers waiting. Once we got to the storage unit I quickly realized that we had more items than space. So I had to purchase another unit unexpectedly costing an additional price for a second unit but ,What Ivan was able to do for us is give us the 1st month free on both units and pay for August up front and we appreciate that so much. He truly went out of his way to accommodate our needs. The rest of the staff was also very friendly as well. Definitely would recommend U-HAUL to anyone who is in need of renting a truck or needs a storage unit. My only wish is for the price the units should be bigger. Well, Robert (the previous GM for 750 Buckley in Aurora, Co) never kept promises made to waive late fees when I was out of work due to an accident. He also promised prorated refund of rent when I moved my things out of the unit (1733.) While I was there loading the trailer I drove from Washington to Colorado the employees were lazy and disrespectful. They paid attention to their phones and gossiping about the drugs they took at the rave they attended for New Years Eve. Which then one of the employees ran after me when I was pulling out with a walkie talkie to radio the trailer number to the others because they assumed I stole the trailer. I just want what was promised at this point. Especially after being accused of being a thief. I don’t know what the deal is with this location but the entire two years I had my unit there it was horrible. Employees would curse me out and call me names because I was late on my payments. The GM, specifically, was a real jerk. I had 2 units in the building. The units were billed on separate cycles on different days. One of my units was paid up and one was a few days late when my dad and I stopped by to drop off some camping equipment. I only needed access to the unit which was paid up, and I was denied entry to the entire building because my other unit was slightly past the due date. Not only were we denied entry, the GM was mean about it. I was livid; I was literally shaking from shock and anger at the way he talked to me. The GM was completely uncaring and rude to the point that I lost my temper and said it was bs for which I immediately apologized, but maintain that is technically correct. My father was furious, too. I ended up paying for the other unit and letting the GM know that we would be emptying both units and leaving before renewal. That's exactly what we did. His behavior was completely unacceptable. Firstly, what he did was wrong and secondly, his attitude was disgusting. A man should not be in a customer-facing role if he can offer zero compassion or empathy. Furthermore, I will be emptying a third unit at another u-haul locations as soon as arrangements can be made. I came into the facility as I needed to update my autopay for my unit as my checking account changed due to a merge. I was told I couldn't use my checking account to do this and had to iise a debit/credit card. In the mean time the staff was more concerned with video games etc. and it wasapparent the associate didn't hear my need after explaining twice. Once I paid my monthly fee I asked was this set up on auto payment, had to look at the screen as he was leaving, said yes ,and told me to I can call back if needed then walked away. Associate distracted, not focused on the customer for a simple transaction and not confident my acct is set up correctly. Most likely will need to call again. I had such an awful experience checking in. The representative that checked me in took FOREVER! 30 mins to check in is RIDICULOUS!!! Not only was she slow but literally kept falling asleep at the desk! (multiple times) As well she continued to eat her food in front of customers and would stop her typing in the system to take a bite of her food. I was asked for 1st floor or 2nd. I picked 1st and she assigned me 2nd as she was not paying attention due to falling asleep. I as well rented a 5 X 10 X 8 and she gave me a 5 X 5 X 8. Worst experience EVER!
