We reserved the trailer online for a location nearest our house which was in our community. However a few days before the pickup date we received a message that the pickup location changed to a city 30 minutes away! A little disappointing. the employees at the new location we're helpful and friendly!

Seriously consider who you let purchase your franchise locations. I returned my trailer today after 3 days. As I pulled into the parking lot, I saw the "return lane" was cluttered with other trucks and trailers, and not a sole was in sight. I had to park elsewhere. I then went inside of the office to try and figure out where to drop the trailer. I was not acknowledged when I walked in, but when I was finally noticed the first thing out of the service agents mouth was "you can't be in here without a mask!" I was unaware of this due to the fact that it was no longer required except in medical facilities and government offices. So I replied "ok, I just need to know where to put the trailer for return." Same response. Finally, the owner piped in and said "go wait by your vehicle, someone will help you." Very aggressively I might add. So I went outside to my truck. When the owner finally came out he walked up to my window and said "don't you ever fucking talk to my staff like that again, you are banned from U-Haul!" I was flabbergasted, and said "ok" he then began to unhook the trailer and kept cussing at me, he called me a pussy for not wearing a mask, and at one point he even called me a faggot. I am not sure who this man is I believe it was Rob, or Robert. When I asked his name he kept telling me he was going to call the cops and to get off his property. If this is the type of individuals you allow to own your franchises I will NEVER EVER EVER use your company again, and I will ensure to share this experience with everyone I know, so they do not have to feel the way I felt today.

The GM, specifically, was a real jerk. I had 2 units in the building. The units were billed on separate cycles on different days. One of my units was paid up and one was a few days late when my dad and I stopped by to drop off some camping equipment. I only needed access to the unit which was paid up, and I was denied entry to the entire building because my other unit was slightly past the due date. Not only were we denied entry, the GM was mean about it. I was livid; I was literally shaking from shock and anger at the way he talked to me. The GM was completely uncaring and rude to the point that I lost my temper and said it was bs for which I immediately apologized, but maintain that is technically correct. My father was furious, too. I ended up paying for the other unit and letting the GM know that we would be emptying both units and leaving before renewal. That's exactly what we did. His behavior was completely unacceptable. Firstly, what he did was wrong and secondly, his attitude was disgusting. A man should not be in a customer-facing role if he can offer zero compassion or empathy. Furthermore, I will be emptying a third unit at another u-haul locations as soon as arrangements can be made. I am really upset about this incident and I want nothing further to do with the entire company after this experience.

Equipment was clean and had no issues with. Your reservation process was terrible. Pick up was scheduled for 12pm, got call that morning saying truck wouldn't be ready until 3:30. When I arrived at 3:30 I was informed truck was extended out till next day. Asked if next day would work or two 15" trucks would. "NO" Finally found another one 45 minutes away which I drove to get. Instead of being well on the road at 5 pm we were just starting to load the truck at that time which put us considerably behind schedule as planned. I would be hesitate to rent from Uhaul in the future because of this experience.

There was no issue at this location but of course the Initial location that I was booked at didnt have the 15' truck that I had reserved. I was told that the lady that had the 15' truck had a grand piano that had to be moved and she had to hire movers so they had no idea when the truck would be back. So I instead had to accept a 26' truck. They took some money off of the price but of course I had pre-paid and havent seen the refund of what they cut the price down.

i was blind sided by a change in location for pick-up, then the one they sent me to didnt open until 11 am, i needed it at 7:30 am. finally the 3rd uhaul saved this expeirience for me but these changes need to be confirmed by email, not just a random text, total BS on uhauls part

when i was in the office trying to get a truck. the employee told another customer that they dont charge extra if the client is less than an hour late.in returns. The morning we were suppose to bring the truck back. The battery was dead. My wife called them and asked what were we suppose to do. try to jump start it or wait for them to come and start it. Rec. we jump it. Wife asked if its ok if we are a little bit late. The salesman said its your fault. You left the lights on. He was rude to my wife. We jump started it and brought it back. The person who leased the truck to us was not present when i returned the truck. I was given a bill instead of $155 as quoted. for 25 miles. we put $30. i was charged $226. So that in my opinion was outrageous. I will never use your company again. Btw. we were only 40 minutes late.

You need to fire your assistant manager. He and his assistant at the time was heavily under the influence of substance possibly Marijuana because I can smell the back office and themselves. The associate totally forgot about me 5 times during the process while talking to his girlfriend over the phone. When the assistant manager decided to help up he is yelling at me right away. And engaged with me with a loud heated argument with his ruttled sedated voice and eyes obviously under substance influence.. I am not done with my complaint. I plan to bring this up to the higher office and post a review online as well. I was late and missed my delivery window and have to wait the following morning to get my cargos delivered. In so doing I have to watch the trailer overnight because it was parked in the streets. I need to talk to the GM when I get back in town.

It would be awesome if when I put an order in for a trailer with the motorcycle chock I actually get a trailer with the motorcycle chock…..especially when the agent goes and makes sure that the trailer has a motorcycle chock. Very frustrating that I have had to argue I needed a motorcycle chock the last two times I've got to pick up the trailer.

I came into the facility as I needed to update my autopay for my unit as my checking account changed due to a merge. I was told I couldn't use my checking account to do this and had to iise a debit/credit card. In the mean time the staff was more concerned with video games etc. and it wasapparent the associate didn't hear my need after explaining twice. Once I paid my monthly fee I asked was this set up on auto payment, had to look at the screen as he was leaving, said yes ,and told me to I can call back if needed then walked away. Associate distracted, not focused on the customer for a simple transaction and not confident my acct is set up correctly. Most likely will need to call again. Poor service.

I ended up running a trailer a 5 by 9 trailer with a ramp on it and I run a date on the 3rd of October and dropped it off 1st thing in the morning on the 4th of October this company charged me $180 because they didn't turn it in properly until just today I want my money back and refunded the $180 you guys took for me

The employees at the Buckley Road location were not friendly at all and did not seem interested in helping me pick up the truck. One employee told another employee to help me and that employee said he was leaving soon so he could not help me. The original employee finally helped me and just gave me the keys. After searching the lot twice, I returned to the office. Another employee said that the truck was in back and brought it around.

This is my first time renting a truck and probably the last with uhaul. I was supposed to pick up my truck TT 4320 E on 10/08/2021 at 8:30pm(which I made it on time), for my horrible surprise that the truck was blocked by 4 more trucks and couldn't pick it up. This changed drastically my entire moving plans, because of you uhaul? That is the service you give for a $240 service bill?

Agent was watching football game during rental. 1st truck had a spare on it. Asked for a swap and agent gave attitudes. Asked for manager and was rude roo. Swapped truck. 2nd one had a tire almost flat. Asked for air and said didn't have one. Tire was fine was just tire monitor issue. Not true tire had on 14 psi in it when I checked it. Refilled tire and kept losing air. Totally rude staff. Was also was trying to charge me more than the reserved rate. Want some higher up to address issues. Was treated poorly and would not recommend to anyone.

This location was way under-staffed. The manager/overseer on Sunday, Sept. 26th, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. rudely shut the "office" door in my face as I was asking him a question; and there was a line of customers, and he did not come out to help. Normally, I like this location, for it is the reason I picked it; however, this time, both of my orders were messed up, and I did not know any of it until the "day of". The 1st was a order of 12 "ready to go" tote/boxes, [of which I ordered, both my orders, well over a MONTH before need of them] and was NEVER told you don't have them anymore. On 2nd order, the 20' foot truck, I was called on the "day of pickup" that I would have to go to a different location in which to get it, which was another 20 to 25 min plus drive then the already 20 min drive for me to the requested location. I had to settle for a 10' truck, at my preferred location; and yet when I got there, it seemed as again, only 1 person working the WHOLE place, and of course, a line of upset customers. The mobile app was extremely slow, probably, because the cell service there was low, [might be the reason for all uhaul computers so slow as well]; the truck for me was NOT in the area of where the mobile app showed me, so I had to hunt for the correct truck; once found, there was not the 2 requested dollies in the truck. When I went in to ask for dollies, I was told, without even a hint of apology, there there were NO dollies available... again was not told this in advance. The mobile app was so slow, that I didn't know that there was more steps to do to "check out" the truck, until after the fact, I had already left the uhaul location. Shortly, after leaving uhaul location, I called customer service line, and proceeded to be on hold for 20 minutes! Then when someone did answer, they said it was overflow to them, and proceeded to put me back on hold, to no one ever answering for another 15 mins, when I hung up and called directly to my preferred uhaul location. I reached the guy I had talked to, in regards to the lack of dollies [on Thursday, Sept 30, 2021 between 3 p.m and 4:30 p.m], about the fact that I had already driven off their lot before knowing that I had more steps that were to be completed for "check out" of truck; to which he proceed to insult me that most customers have no problem using the app. Thanks for insulting a customer... It is not my fault the moblie app was slow and I should have somehow known all of what steps still needed to happen. I sure do now. Signed, Heidi Bennett

Really a great experience being able to rent a moving vehicle and be able to rent storage at the same place. Storage facility is quite impressive - from the security to get in, to the carts, ease of getting to your storage locker and it was really clean!!! Made moving much more pleasant Thank you!
