Felt like I was bothering them trying to get a trailer .. we asked the day before if we could get early they said the ones they had were theirs and for local only .. the one I got seemed just as old and ruff as theirs .. after getting mine I got a call saying they had one ready now.. I told them I already had one and was going to my destination.

Anthony CI would definitely recommend this location. They always have a truck however I would also warn them that they’ll say you can’t get it for more than six hours, but I would tell them that after they leave, they could call the U-Haul place and extended because several times not time
SHERRY BThey rented us a truck that was leaking from the rear axle. If someone was or serviced it prior. They would if seen it. I did when I was walking around the truck to look it over. However I'm not a Machanic. I thought someone might of got the truck stuck and didn't clean off the rim. We drove it from fl to Al. It could of killed my guys or someone else.

GARY KNot the p/u location, but the scheduler, don't try to push customers off on the kiosk locations (no body there, must use the phone to check out) when they have obviously chosen a service center for their p/u location.

DANIEL AMy issue isn’t with this location, they were friendly and GREAT . My issue is with customer service and there miscommunication. I drove 29 miles when I only should have drove 5 all because uhual I booked was closed and they didn’t tell me until 30 mins before pick up . I was lucky to meet the associate who helped me at this location she was very sweet and helpful, even upgraded my uhual due to the size I needed not being available. She needs a raise !!!
Tekeila WThe guy who did my light check for the trailer is an absolute moron. He sent me on my way saying everything was ok. I almost got into an accident on the highway because the lights didn't work. Turns out there was no fuse connected for the trailer hitch. Meaning the lights never worked the entire time, and I was almost in an accident because of his incompetence.
ZACHARY WThe staff at this location goes above and beyond! They were simply amazing! I came in and realized (after the trailer had been hooked up) that it would be too small. I came back inside to see if I could swap out to a bigger one. The staff quickly started looking to find me a bigger trailer. They were successful, and Jamal came right out and unhooked the one he had just hooked up and got the larger one hooked up to the truck. He was completely professional and kind, even though it was my fault he was doing twice the work. I thank them so much for their kindness and professionalism. I will most definitely recommend this location to any one in need of a Uhaul. Best service I have ever experienced!

ALVIN MI reserved the van several days in advance. I was first into the store, the attendant was checking me out, when someone walked in to get the same van and the transaction could not be completed. I had to go across town to get a rental. Not a great experience. And then there is the ongoing issue with the uhaul website not being able to handle multi-day reservations and having someone from the company call me back to confirm the reservation, which they did, and it was still rented out from underneath me.
EUGENE KThe general manager was very rude and un helpful. Advise me to remove my lock just to place another lock on there while in the process of moving out .informed him the account was for me and my mother and she lost the key and he showed no compassion or assistance . Will never use uhual storage facilities again . They try to real you in with the 1st month free but the rest of their services are horrible .
Jeda S | Overall ExperienceMy first call to location lady that answered sounded like she just woke up. Ended up making reservation with main office cause local office didn’t pick up on second try. I made the reservation but never received email per confirmation. Picked up truck around noon. Returned equipment the next morning around 10AM and was told a receipt will be emailed to me. I insisted on a paper receipt and they tried to charge me for two days. Same guy clicked on a computer and printed new reciept. Nonchalantly said it was corrected and gave me a second receipt again double charged. He finally got it right on the third try. Last time I rent from UHaul.

JAMES WI didn't see any area that need attention except maybe a sign on the right side of the building. If there is one then I'm sorry I didn't see it, just to let customers that enter the parking lot from that side that the front of the store is around the corner, I know sounds crazy lol but me and 2 other cars pulled in at the same time and we all looked at each other at the "side door" that looked like the front of the building but was locked, like um.. I know they're open lol anyway. Good experience.

Norman FThe staff was polite and helpful. The van, however, (passenger’s seat) was infested with dog hairs to the point I used a sheet to cover it and tossed it afterwards. I thought at first glance the vehicle was clean but noticed the dog hairs once closer and inside.
KIWANIS WThe African American female at the desk was very rude. Wasn’t helpful and when I called the hotline she wouldn’t even talk to the uhaul people on the phone to verify what I was saying to her. Would not recommend at all.

After I got home, I realized that I didn't have the dolly cart I rented. Returned to Uhaul to get it. He apologized for the inconvenience. Overall, the process was painless.
TONYA WI think her name was Shameka or Shaneka. Can’t remember her name 100%, but she was very rude! She wasn’t informative or educational at all. I had previously came in and discussed a uhual. Which I reserved and used. Also getting a storage. I’ve been coming to this particular location for years because I really liked it plus the staff were great. This lady, was new to me. But I usually get the education on the free 30 day storage. She didn’t advise me of anything. After everything was said and done she told me the storage was 80 something bucks because I didn’t return the U-Haul to a different location. I had barely anything to put into the storage. I purchased a 5”5. Was very disappointed in her and her service. I went to get a refund the next day! If others that worked there were doing it wrong, I understand she followed protocol. But her attitude and customer service was poor overall.

The customer service was exceptional, and if I need to rent a U-Haul again in the future, I will definitely reach out to this location to make a reservation.

LATORIA FYet again, the initial drop off location changed without notifying me. I arrived at the Capital Circle NE location to be told they did not accept one way rentals. Employees there were rude and not helpful. I had to travel 15 miles in the opposite direction for drop off on West Tennessee. However they were very helpful at that location. I was told Tallahassee now only has 3 drop off locations - none on the northeast side of town.

He kept asking the same questions, name address, etc. from me when he could have taken my information down once. When I initially called, the computer systems were down, when he called me back, the message that he left was less than professional or informational...he left his name and to call him back on his cell #. So first, When I left my initial message, I did not know who Jamal was? So, I did not know that I would be getting a call from him. Second, I don't have his cell number. I was not sure who it was. Then when I followed up, this is when I found out when he told me he left me a message. Maybe some training on how to work with customers and how to leave a voice mail message that would give some indication on who they were with a phone number. after about an hour on the phone, he did get done what I needed, I can't say that I was confident that it was done correctly.
boys t | Overall ExperienceThe one guy who checked me in did not know what he was doing and was extremely rude during the check in process. He acted as if I was stupid, threw up his hands, and said he no longer cared anymore at one point. Another time, I was in the facility when air blew through the overhead tube. I was curious about it and asked him what that was about because he was there unlocking the double doors that he had mistakenly locked ( which I had to wait for). He told me he was off the clock so he did not need to talk to me. I have never been treated so rudely as this young man treated me. I was told that I was required to get insurance, although everything written said that was an option. The day before my rental unit was due, I took everything out and told the person at the desk that I was out of the unit. He assured me that all was good. I then started getting overdue notices. I had to call to tell them that I had checked out already. If I need a storage unit again, I will definitely not be going here again.

Due to limited options was offered a storage unit that wasn't cleaned out but agreed to move in since the lock was included, contract was on monthly to month, using as a storage until end of month. Didn't have a 10x7 available so went up instead of downsizing. Enclosed is a photo attachment of what the storage unit looked like before moving in. Hope to resolve or receive a month free on next rental when downsizing or moving into new until. Inconvenience of cleaning and having the risk orf being accused of damages did not cause. Sent picture to manage email. Assured can move out no contract no fees no problems. Expected move out date to another unit is April 19, 2024. The manager step in towards the end of the transaction to make corrections on account. Mr. Burns and some other prospects were on site waiting. 1st month free was valid only with purchase of moving truck, and didn't want the inconvenience of signing the same contract twice neither wanted my signature electronic in order to copy & paste. So request a paper print out due to all the hacking/scammers & fraudulent activity. U-Haul provides individually alarmed rooms and twice the protection & security so the customer service & standard advantages made up for the headache artificial intelligence was giving Crystal Nicole Coley. Signed as all rights reserved to Crystal Nicole Coley not to family or friends. Definitely having a better experience at U-Haul then the last storage unit. 1 thing on my prayer list answered. Added insurance($5,000) on March 25, 2024 to cover books documents containers paint art supplies clothes electronics devices(intel), hair tools/equipment, clothes, clothing rack, suitcase $1,000 equal or less to in cash notes Resolution to trespass warning against visitors, friends, start properties or personal properties hanging out without being posted. All rights reserved to Crystal Nicole Coley acknowledge that while U-Haul in this facility takes certain precautions to provide clean dry and secure storage rooms and agree that U-Haul in this facility does ensure my property and does have the responsibility to provide insurance for my property as effective March 25th of 2024 furthermore I agree that U-Haul in the facility are responsible for any damages or loss that may occur to the property while in storage. And understand that it is requirement for U-Haul in the facility to maintain insurance coverage for my goods or property as long as they are in the storage facility. With the exception of customers moving out leaving property behind and the manager considering unclaimed property rules and procedures the premises and office were clean. The unit moved in was not moved in ready or clean so emailed and spoke to manager about moving out since none of my options were available.

There was a used nasty mattress in the hall old junk sitting by the door with trash down the aisle. When I opened my new storage a damm rodent trap with poison sitting in there. Homeless people standing around and beating me through the door. This place doesn't give me clean or safe. I wouldn't store anything at this facility not even trash. The best decision I made was to ask for a refund.

I had to drive around for a while and finally return to the front desk to ask where it was again. They should have someone show you where your unit is. Customer service is non-existent. Rude staff with a “hurry up and leave” mentality.
