When I showed up to pick up the truck they couldn't find the keys. The truck looked like it had been ran through hell and back. Once I returned the truck with the same amount of gas and didn't drive the full 20 miles I was charged $117, instead of the $50 or $60 for the time I had it. I typically move every 2 or 3 years and moving forward I will not be using Uhaul again.joshua W.

The person who set up the trailer did not verify that the pin was on the hitch correctly. A few miles down the road the pin detached from the trailer and I had to set it up on the side of the road. They were rushed and careless, this could have led to a very dangerous situation. I am thankful nobody was injured. I will not be back, nor will I recommend Uhaul to friends or family.Kathryn N.

I used the online return option as all the employees were busy. Left they keys inside of the truck instead of dropping them in the box. An employee called me, stating that I locked the keys inside and that she apparently saw me doing so â€¦ and charge me an extra $100. Couldn't find or talk to one of the employee but they apparently had time to see me locking the truck when it was not the case. Just a way to make you pay extra. I was never called and told that equipment that I had on reservations they did not have. They had no dollys at first and I ordered two and they had only 6 furniture pads and i ordered 12. They told me at the counter for the first time. Offered me a furniture dolly. Then after I checked out, I see a dolly sitting outside and they refused to give it to me because they were saving it for another customer. Horrible experience!Crystal H.

Great job! Pick up and drop off were quick with no fuss. Truck was the right size and easy to drive; made a four hour round trip easily even without cruise control. I have used U-Haul trucks three times in the last six months and I have been satisfied every time. I will continue to use U-Haul trucks.James A.
I had arranged the free one month storage and after a hard move, you did not honor that reservation and I had to pay over $110 for one month, when it was supposed to be free, as per my UHAUL reservation. Explain that uhaul will prescribe the shortest route including inner cities, congestion, construction, tolls, and delays. Better to plan route before rental and pay mileage in advance instead of $1 per mile afterwards.john C.

I requested a hand truck and the location didn't have any. They gave me an appliance dolly instead, which was nice of them. However, I specifically needed a smaller hand truck as the base of the appliance dolly was too wide and shallow for what I needed to move. This isn't the first time I've not gotten the equipment I've â€œreserved,â€ and it's frustrating that an enormous and profitable company like uhaul cannot reliably keep equipment for its customers.Myles A.

Equipment needs a little minor repair work on interior. Instructions for what to do on return after hours should be more clear and more prominently displayed. But frankly, that after hours drop process that requires user to take photos is too cumbersome. it would be much better customer service if you just had someone there to assist, at least until later in the evening.Daniel C.

I found the online reservation site a little difficult as I was attempting to rent a storage unit as well as a trailer for the day plus a trailer as a 1-way use a month later. After a while of trying, I decided just to call. Employee named Kia answered and she was fabulous. Very friendly, patient and helpful. Kia was at the UHaul location when I arrived on Saturday and was just as friendly in person. Unsatisfactory some of the staff really care nothing about customers or their jobs.I found had the worst attitude no common courtesy.Not friendly at all. The place was not always clean bathroom was really beyond using very unsanitary even at time we are experiencing please fight the this battle with keeping everything wiped down at all times and cost.If some staff members would have a warm greeting to the customers. Josh is the employee of all times he conducts himself as one of the most valuable employees in the business to represent U Haul in every area.He truly express every helpful moment. Everyone was very helpful and cordial. I rented a unit “on-line” and when I arrived there was not one of the units available- as I was unable to NOT have one I had to rent a larger unit. I do not hold this location responsible for the problem- it is a CORPORATE issue and they should be held responsible for their technical website processing error. We had a free month rental with our trailer rental. Arrived after hours on 11/4 to move in but checked in online. Door code would not work. There was no lock in our unit as promised. Moved in 11/4 with our own lock, tried to move more items in on 11/10 but there was a facility lock on our door preventing us from accessing the unit. Looked at our online account, it says we are past due but a month has not passed therefore we should not be locked out. Tried calling number posted for after hrs 3x with no answer. Found office unlocked and sliding door still operational. Looked to see if someone was still on site, found no one. Tried calling number again, finally reached someone who said they would try to find someone to come out. Someone did finally arrive but only secured office. Said he couldn't help us access our unit. The rating on here really should be separate one for the facility itself and one for the staff. The facility was a 0 for me with the roaches that occurred within the first week. The response to fix this issue could have been much quicker. It’s not really a fix but the bug bomb killed off anything that was on the soft bags. Unfortunately, (now I know) with it being an outside unit, this is common. The rating is in no way a reflection on the staff. Terrance and Shaun were also very helpful from the start with reporting the issue. Jeremiah the GM was great once he understood there were roaches and took care of it to the best of his abilities, except it was too late (3-weeks in). The issue with this location is the roaches which appeared in my unit the very first week. I lost several items due to the roaches including memento that were damaged and irreplaceable. The area manager Michelle was supposed to contact me and never did. I am saddened by this experience. The only reason I would not recommend this facility, is the roach problem. The staff, were as helpful as could be with the circumstances. This facility really needs to contract with professional services like Terminex and Orkin. I would have never place my items here had I know there was a roach issue. If you choose to store here, make sure you know there is a roach problem in the outside units and store all your items in air tight plastic bins.TONI B. | Overall Experience

Basically it’s a bait and switch your offer the free month of storage when you rent a trailer and then you get to this place and you’re on the second floor and they don’t tell you there are stairs to get to the second floor when your offer the free storage and they don’t tell you that there’s no elevator to get to the second floor so it just sucks or you can pay like 50 bucks more and then you can go anywhere else and find the same amount storage on the first floor so it just stinksLisa T. | First Impressions

I rented a mid-sized space on the 2d level. At first I was worried about the access to the 2d floor, but it was perfect for us. Everything about the site was perfect, from security to staff. The women that I meet, who maintained the inside of storage facility was helpful and nice. When I came and went from the building and saw her it was like meeting a long lost friend walking down the street. When I looked at this facility online, the pictures looked like a one story building. It’s two levels. When I was given a second story unit, I asked where the elevators were. The response from the employee was, “this building has been open for over 10 years and has never had an elevator! You should know that!” - I am not from the area and was just helping my daughter move. The unit that I was told to move into still had someone’s stuff in it, even though the employees thought it was available. They then tried to switch me into a different unit and the same thing happened in that one. Eventually after trying to find an open one for 30 minutes, they realized that none of that type of unit were available at all. How does this even happen? I was actually assigned a unit number and everything, even though someone still had stuff in it.
