The manager lie about the gas, I only drove the truck for 13 miles and he said that I used a 1/4 of a tank of gas. So that said to me that the truck doesn't get 15 miles. I will not go back there any more!!ROBERT F.

First of all, the truck I rented cab was not cleaned. When, I brought this to Mr. Lester's attention while he was parking another truck. He did apologize and offered a explanation. He discarded the potato chip, plastic bag and remaining items. However, when I left and began traveling. The truck's transmission drove rough meaning it didn't shift into a higher gear until it idled high. Which made the drive rough. Also, I noticed something else was underneath the seat. When, I looked it was a crack pipe, bloody napkin and other items. I called and spoke with Ms. Hoke. I hope I said her name right. She asked me if I was in the area and if I was to bring the truck back. I did return and Mr. Lester came and apologized again and removed all the items and cleaned and disinfected the inside the driver side of the cab. I though, I was getting another truck. But, nooo. So, Mr. Lester stated he would give me 50 dollars back on my authorization or something like that. He said separately from the rental. When I returned the truck I did not see the 50 dollar return. So, this has been a disappointment all the way around. I received a nasty, rough riding truck and was lied to. That leaves you feeling like smoke has been blown up your; you know whatâ€¦I think, I need to reevaluate where I spend my money.STEPHANIE J.

The instructions were not clear about using the 24/7 share. It took way too long to pick up my truck. And the instructions were clear on the gas but I had no way of remembering where it was supposed to be upon return After having the truck for 2 days, I forgot the mark. And the 24/7 share is very new to me. Got a storage room and it was too small..coming from out of town I had to give some of my things away. Folks in this place did not want to work with me getting me the 4x7 trailer in first place. They denied having one and seemed they were running scam to make me upgrade to more expensive trailer. I walked out and did reservation on U-Haul website with $50 guarantee having one. I walked back in , boom they magically had one for me. Three person argued very hard and they were very rude with me, but at the end one good employee worked with me on the reservation and had me set with the trailer.PAREZ F.

The general manager there is very rude and very unprofessional.. he should be fired for the way he talks to his customers.. he's not a good listener at all.. I tried to explain to him that the truck I rented was leaking gasoline when I went to fuel the truck that I was renting. Before I could finish explaining the situation he is seeing your weight that I was lying. He did not exactly come out of his mouth and say the words but throughout the conversation you can tail just by the way he was expressing the words to me. I only wanted him to be aware of it so that they can get a mechanic to check the vehicle before they rent it out to someone else I even have it on video showing that it was leaking I told him that I put my hands down there to see if it was water or gasoline when I smelled my hands it was gasoline me and my motherâ€˜s boyfriend both witnessed this I also snapped a picture of it so that he could see it. I even offered him to look at the video he said he checked the truck and his self he smelled no gasoline I didn't told him of course you're not going to smell it you're not fueling the truck I told him when I was viewing the truck is the fuel was going inside the truck it was spilling out at the bottom of the truck not where you put the nozzle for the gasoline I am very aware of how A vehicle function I am not a mechanic but I am fully aware if there's a gas leak or not. I just feel like you need to fully investigate that site with that manager he is very rude very unprofessional and very impolite. I understand his frustration but some that's what you have to do when you step in the position of management it comes along with the territory. I will not be coming back to that location. And I will tell everyone about that location and the experience that I had at that location with that manager. I'm quite sure when he gets this and you bring this up to him he would know who I am. But for the most I've always never had this problem with you all ever before this is the first time I've ever experienced this situation.LESHINA M.

Very Disappointed. Ended up paying an additional nearly 80 dollars at drop off for milage when I was encouraged to get the return the u haul option to Charlotte where I picked up because it was cheaper than leaving the u haul in Columbia to, only be charged an extra 78 dollars for going over the milage.!!!! The dolky I ordered was not in the truck. Luckily I looked in the truck before leaving and saw I didn't have one. They finally found one for me to use. Got numerous calls saying the same thing . Communication must be lacking if you get numerous calls saying the same thing. Very disappointed. And I actually returned the u haul early . So they got extra money from me for "milage" and they got the truck early so they were able to rent it out again. Don't think I will use U-Haul again.
