The guy on main street acted like we interrupted his morning about being there was not very happy about having to help us. Sent me across town to uhaul on Gilbert and Houston Had equipment and rep was very Good about his Job and fixed me up without a problem Thank to the lady at uhaul.com
Trailer was clean on the inside, but on the outside it was very dirty as it appears to have gone through a snow storm, and trailer was very salty on the outside.
Guy who helped was very nice and friendly+ knowledgeable. I don't remember his name, but think he had a ponytail. He definitely made needing to move a more pleasant experience.

Rented from Uhaul probably close to 10 times last 6 months. If I ever need another trailer I will do everything in my power to rent from someone else. Heck, I'd rather buy my own trailer than rent from Uhaul. Geez, I rented a bunch up in the state of WA then again down here in AZ, and your employees treated me like garbage and like they were doing me a favor. If I want to pay to get treated poorly...I'm not thinking very clearly. You asked
The location was close to my residence and picking/returning the pickup truck was easy. The staff was helpful and friendly. Any negative feedback is due to the hidden costs when renting any equipment from any vendor and not limited to UH-Haul.
Check-in crew was friendly and very knowledgeable in explaining what they check for and if anything was wrong how they handle it but everything was good no problems and said we are here 24/7 to return equipment.

Took almost 30 minutes for a troublesome computer system to decide to respond. Credit card data had to be entered (4) times before a successful transaction was realized.
James is very sweet,friendly, and helpful. All your employees need to learn his amazing customer service skills. If everyone was like him you would be the number one in customer service He is a keeper.
When I went to pick up at the designated time, they seemed irritated and not ready for me. I was given the truck key and told it was around the corner, no assistance what so ever and the when I found the truck it was buried in a lione of trucks. when I went for help there was a lot of foul laungage betweent eh employees and they went to assist me, they said here you can drive out we will move the trucks in front that was it NO MENTION OF AN INPECTION TEXT WHICH I RECEIVED DAYS LATER. Upon my return the attendant told OK you rgood to go he did not mention that there was going to be an additiona 37 dollars something added to my bill as a result of milaege I felt taken advantage of and the service on Friday was horrible I was both offended and felt lost at the best. the truck gear select lever was very loose I felt as though I was never really sure if I would stay in the gear selected.
As smooth as you could hope for when renting a moving vehicle. Pick and drop off was smooth and Quick.
The Gilbert location was great to work with.

It was not made clear that a $20 after hours turn in fee would be charged if the truck and keys were turned in after hours, instead of the next business day. The turn in process asked for my location and I did not want to give U-Haul permission to access my location. Please remove that location access request, or inform the customer that a location request will be made in order to turn in the truck after hours. I would appreciate a $20 refund to my account.

Staff were great!
Your online service really sucks on picking up and dropping off. When you try to reserve or drop off it does not recognize your location and you are standing on the property. My son and I have both experienced. We have rented a few vehicles in pass month and truly thinking about going to anothet rental place.
What a mess. First when I called to reserve a trailer I was told not to worry about not having a ball hitch they would provide it. Not clarifying that meant I would have to purchase one but ok I guess I will purchase it since I had no other choice at that point. Then I reserved a 4x7 utility trailer that rents for $14.95 and I asked for a furniture dolly. At the time of pickup I was told my charge would be $24.40 which makes sense 14.95 plus 7 plus tax. I left to go pickup my furniture and too far down the road we discovered they did not give us a dolly so I called and let them know to take it off my bill they said they would. I get back to return the trailer and check in to make sure they removed the charge to hear that with the dolly removed my charge would only be $29.27. I objected and said I was only charged $24.40 to start with so how is it now more. Tyler starts to look into and says he fixed it I will only be charged $19.27 which is what I should have been charged since I did not get the dolly so rent of $14.95 plus tax. So I check my credit card and I of course am being charged $24.40. No one seems to know what they are doing. I will go to Penske next time. What a hassle.

The belt tightener handle and handle stop on the appliance dolly were bent such that when one attempts to tighten the belt the handle jumps over the stop and smashes one's hand against the appliance. I was able to use it by pulling the belt as tight as possible through the "D" rings. I will certainly inspect for this the next time I rent. It would have been better if the attendant had inspected for this before presenting it to me. There were plenty of dollies to choose from in inventory.

despite everything with the facility itself being just fine, i was very disappointed with the overall booking process. I initially “reserved” it when I reserved the truck, only to get a call the next day i confirmed my reservation and provided a credit card for payment, and received a confirmation email. i then recoeved multiple follow up calls to cinfirm my move in date over the next few days, so mich that i emailed back my email confirmation reaffirm i still had my reservation, which i got another response confirming, and after all that, still did not have any reservation booked on my arrival. the whole experience prior to the actual move in was quite frustrating.

Would not recommend U-Haul
Recent issue was trying to get a new unit. Had to come in twice to get it completed. Yes it was over the holiday. But eventually it was done.
The guys were great! Got an easy to get to unit and having the carts was amazing! 4 hours of loading a 20 ft truck and we were unloaded in an hour and a half! Great experience!!
The young men were delightful to work with and pleasant to be around! I will gladly do business with them again. They handled disgruntled clients very well.
Circumstances that were out of the control of the employees at the Gilbert location, I was unable to pick up my rental on time. This cost me extra work and frustration. I believe some monetary compensation is in order.

This is always a nice location. Easy to get in and out of. I was using a 15' truck for a one way. The gentleman at the counter gave me a brand new truck, only 37 miles. Wonderful! More comfortable than previous versions. Ran like a champ! Pick up quick and easy. Did the Express check-in before hand. In and out no problems!
The store representative did a tremendous job, especially patiently helping me find the best storage unit for my needs. The 15 ft truck was perfect as well.

The facility itself was fine. Fairly clean, just a lot of dead bugs on the ground. The staff seems to be a bunch of younger less customer service oriented people. Too many times when I had questions, I had to deal with shrugs, cell phone usage and a general “you’re bothering me” attitude. I would not recommend this facility for that reason only. For the most part using a storage facility is self explanatory and a solo mission, but on the off chance you need someone, you want them to be helpful and respectful.
The staff allowed me and a family member to unload in stages, trailer first and then van. Also let us take a much needed lunch break.
As I rented a 26 foot Uhaul truck for move as I moved out of the storage unit, I wish I would have been optioned for the 1 month free promotion. Unit was secure and safe for my belongings!

The doors getting into my storage unit.... alaways disabked. Never opened fully last 4 months I paid to keep my stuff there? Dehabilitating? No... unless I needed a lot of stuff that day. Staff...? I rented a truck to get in there. And one to get out. Absolutely atrocious. No smiles. No “welcome in!” Nothing. They all walk (miserably slow) and can easily tell they hate their jobs. I’d recommend this place because it is clean, close to my home, and easily accessible (kind of). I wouldn’t recommend even attempting to talk to staff, carrying large things through doors that don’t work, or paying for a full month when you plan to leave earlier.

The only thing id recommend is ensuring the directions for after store hours entry is clearer. i had alot of trouble figuring out how to get in after hours. i was going to the wrong door.

This was a great place to store items.
There are some homeless people living in there because they have a unit, they showed me their card. The guy and gal were in the bathroom for long periods of time. I observed this twice and when I asked them from outside the bathroom to please come out, that I needed to use the facilities, they stayed in for another half hour. I had to put all items that I was rearranging in the storage back in and lock it, then go to the front office to use theirs. Anyone can enter thru the doors and I also saw a man, twice come to check what there was in the area where you can pick up items that people don't want. I don't think he had a unit. You should really review your policy for entrance into the storage buildings. It is a security problem and it worried me that my storage would be broken into. I did get into a verbal confrontation with the male homeless guy. I brought up this problem with the front office and they said that they were going to monitor it and take care of the problem. I would definitely rent vehicles from them again as I really liked the people working there. Especially Jack, who came to my rescue when I confronted the homeless man.

The company lock was still on my storage unit, so I was unable to unload my truck when I was there. The company has to many trucks parked by building B so you cant park anything bigger then a 10ft truck if another truck is there unloading.

Very nice large facility with 4 sizes to choose from and first month free with truck rental made it an easy choice. I had used a U-Haul storage in Houston before but the Gilbert location was much nicer. Especially cleaner and easier to access the storage.

The storage facility is a little dated but serves the purpose of storage. Having to swipe the badge twice is annoying/frustrating & doesn’t work half the time.🤨

I feel submitting 3 telephone numbers to contact me and my State Farm policy number to ensure rental coverage is a little much and intrusive. I can understand 2 numbers and contact information for my State Farm agent but the policy number is getting too personal.

The staff member that helped me with both renting and checking out the rental unit was extremely helpful . He even went out his way to help me when Iwas having difficulties accessing the storage facility. My wife and I were happy to learn he is getting promoted with a new position at corporate office. Great experience with both renting a vehicle and storage unit.
Upon our arrival we informed the manager, Misty Ward that we would have a POD being delivered which we would unload but it wouldn't be able to be picked up until the next day. She said, "No problem, we do that all the time." By the time the POD arrived, Misty had gone home and another employee informed us that the POD had to be picked up that day. That employee then called Misty at home and was told that Misty never told us it would be ok to be picked up the next morning which was a bold faced lie. We had to cancel send the POD back and pay for another month of POD storage which is more than the unit at your facility would have cost us. It was the last day that I was available as I was going out of town for 6 weeks. We canceled the storage unit and are in the process of finding another storage facility. I would have preferred your location since it's close but I don't want to do business with people that lie to me. If I can get a free month on the unit I will consider renting a unit from your location. If not I will go elsewhere and since your facility is where I get my propane for my grill I will also take that business elsewhere.

I got a discount for getting a unit by the window for advertising. Unfortunately the units in the window are also 20degrees hotter. And the lights for the advertising stick out to far into the walkwa

The reason why I stored my items at this location was because it was air cooled. It was supposed to be between 75 & 85 degrees, but it was always just over 90 degrees.
Was disappointed on move out Day had asked to barrow a dolly to move a heavy dresser and was told to use the carts and lay the dresser down. Ended cracking one door in the dresser.

Everything was great until it was time to move out. I couldn't reach the store over the phone for days and called in to the corporate offices - they couldn't reach the store either.
Wade, Joy, Misty and Monica were a pleasure to work with. After telling them the horrible story about my trip, they took the time to make sure my check in went smooth. Wade was a rockstar!

The staff was always helpful and courteous. My only complaint is that the computer system seemed to be difficult for them to work. It took nearly an hour to get the storage unit setup.

We had a 28 ft trailer coming from NJ and I was looking for a storage place that would allow this trailer to parked overnight. Uhaul would not accommodate our needs. Went with LifeStorage.

This was a very emotional and stressful move for me this time around. U-Haul manager and Leah were most helpful during this transition. I appreciated their patience and excellent cust serv skills.
The crew there work really well at satisfying the customers. I had 7 U-Boxes to shuttle and they made sure they were ready and swapped out quickly with little wait time.
I made a reservation for a 5*5 storage unit & 4 hour pickup. My daughter got the pickup at 5:30pm but could not get the storage unit said I had to be there & unclosed at 7pm. In renting the truck &

We have used your location for years. It’s always been a pleasant experience.
We moved out on the 9th. You refused to prorated our month and instead kept 100 dollars that should be ours. I will never use uhaul again for anything. You would rather double-dip than keep customers.
