MGR rude. I asked for a trailer that had 5ft cargo space. Was given a 5 x 8 trailer. Actual dimensions is approx. 44 1/2 wide, not 60 in. (5ft). Not wide enough. Mgr. told me I should reed the fine print. Unacceptable answer. Your employees should tell customers actual dimensions of cargo space!!!RUDOLFO L.
No one came out to take trailer and when I went in the lady asked to wait them took like 3 calls then pawned me off to someone else who was helping someone else out. My storage unit was canceled when I was driving down and didn't answer call but when calling back no one answered the call, my whole experience was trash with uhaulWAYNE S.
My concerns are not with the pickup or drop off locations. My concerns are with the reservation booking. I explained that I needed to pickup a car out-of-state. Wen I went to pickup the tow dolly, nothing in the system was correct. I wound up paying over $150 for the equipment that I had already paid for on line for around $60. The reservation person should have given me pricing options for picking up options the equipment near the out-of-state locations and just given me better information as to how I could have done this easier. I an extremely disappointed and will be sure to share my experience with everyone I know. Next time, U-haul will be last on my list.JOSEPH S.
The movers who uhaul's website set me up with were terrible. They had me calling us haul to take care of things they should have done. They told me the day before that I would not have any boxes. The whole experience was a mess and a headache. I am being charged for an extra box that did not get used and am waiting for this to be fixed. Also, I had to access something from my box and it turned out that I was supposed to purchase a lock for my box and nobody told me until the person working at the storage warehouse informed me that my box was not locked. I will never use uhaul box again for all the headaches.Kim N.

Please check all engine, brake and electrical warning lights. The trucks issued to me were in bad condition. Brakes were smoking and when I informed Uhaul staff about the issue I was simply told to reported as feedback to uhaul. Not professional at all. Also, box wooden rails are all falling apart and that is a safety issue. I was also told to submit that issue as feedback. I expected something like, thanks we will take care of this issue. So, my point is that simply brushing off customers reports is not professional. Thanks!Rubidia C.

Fire Martin Rhoades Jr. he is a complete and utter tool. He has no respect for anyone. So much so that I doubt he even has respect for himself. I have reason to believe that he has what is known in today's society as â€œlittle man syndrome.â€ And he has to compensate for it by trying to prove to others that he's above them. His phone number is posted on the wall for after hours manager. When I arrived from El Paso after a 13 hour drive with my pregnant wife, he wouldn't answer his phone, he read every single one of my texts. But not at all did I get a SINGLE response back. And when I came in a few days later he acted like he didn't have any idea of what was going on or who I was. His whole demeanor was as if he didn't give a shit about his job or where he was working, And didn't care to even know or understand the situation. He is the absolute worst person I've EVER interacted with. And I've met some terrible people. He does not deserve a manager position in a company or business that has to do with people. He is in the people business, and he should understand that. And if he can't learn how to give respect in order to get respect then he shouldn't be allowed to work in a higher position. I believe he is incompetent, and doesn't have what it takes to be a manager in such a place like U-Haul. The other staff members however, are very friendly and work with you. I had one guy who had just got off work but he stayed just an extra couple minutes to make sure my access to storage was good. Which was outstanding. And something that Mr. Martin Rhoades would never even consider doing. Whoever is reading this, I want you to go on google and read the reviews on uhaul and storage at Grissom in San Antonio, TX. I promise you, you will find several reviews about the same issue With this manager. (Martin Rhoades) If he is not removed from his position you will lose a lot of business. Thank you.BLAYNE V.

The actual size does not fit the size of rooms it recommends on the product. The associates should be more knowledgeable & the manages should not be talking about other customers in front of other customers. Utilizing a third-party for long-distance delivery of U-box containers requires streamlined communication between U-haul employees and the third-party delivery employees as well as great organization, which U-haul fell short tremendously. The lack of accurate timestamps and documentation at each point of contact indicating the location of drop off/pick up, responsible employee facilitating the transaction, license plate and contact information of the driver assigned to the box would have eliminated nearly all the issues I faced during my experience. Though streamlining this process may be difficult when using a different company for delivery, U-haul did not uphold its reputation and reliability that it typically holds. Incorporating a tracking system via upgrading the current system or utilizing a different company that has the capabilities of your competitors would be recommended before I use this company's services again.Hanna K.

Samantha personifies EXCELLENT Customer Service. And she wasn't even the one serving us! I was in line, and she was serving a Customer in front of me and she looked up and smiled at me and said, "I'll be right with you." She made my really stressful day so much better. I made my move from out-of-state and chose Uhaul for the moving van and storage facility. First a system error double-booked me for a uhaul and storage unit which took me an hour on the phone to have resolved. But most importantly, my storage unit reservation was apparently overbooked by 5 other people for the same unit, which left me without the proper sized storage unit once I got to the destination city. I had to go look for another unit at a third-party location and was not offered a solution or discount by uhaul. Having been with the facility for an extended time since returning to SA, the opportunity to interact with various employees was considered for this review. As a general rule, the "line" employees were always helpful and friendly. I interacted with two (2) managers during the timeframe - neither of whom displayed acceptable customer service skills. The gentlemen that helped us were very informative, kind and understanding! My fiancee's friend who is like family, moved to san antonio last minute for a job and going through a divorce. I knew he needed a safe storage area so after calling all the storage places I knew who were closing and couldn't help me, I saw the -Haul logo and called. The guys were closing in less than half and hour but were so sweet and understanding told me not to worry! The young man showed me what I needed to get the job done faster.
