Update truck to use Bluetooth or at least plug in jack for listening to music as fm/am radio often does not get good reception. Other than that Uhaul continues to serve my family and business needs better than ever. Than you, its appreciated.

Picked up truck and finished loading but the truck won't start . Called road side assistant but put on hold for 37 minutes so hung up and call the place where we rent the truck. Guess what they said. "We can't help you, there is nothing we can do just call road side assistant.." so I called back Road side assistant but they never picked up the call. While movers( paid by hour) just sitting there doing nothing for about 2 hours, thank god some good samaritan fixed the truck and started engine (he said battery is bad) so we had to turn engine on to unloading.. one of worst and expensive ( movers actually worked for about 2hours but had to paid for 4hours(including wait for the truck to restart ) experience.

I don't like the fact that when we rented the truck at 1: 40 on Friday and we talked about bringing the truck back before 1:40 on Sat., we get a call saying that we were supposed to bring it back Friday night, which is complete bs and when we took the truck out there was three quarters of a tank full of gas and on the contract said there was more gas in it, not best practices!

Train employees to follow through. Came in 1/2 hour earlier than my pick up time so I could get an appliance dolley cuz they are “first come, first serve”. Woman at counter said she'd put an appliance dolley in my truck, guy who checked me in said it was “in the back” but when I checked, no dolley. And no more available as they'd all been taken by then. Your policy of not allowing customers to reserve an appliance dolley doesn't make sense for a “moving company”.

Waited 15 minutes to be hooked up with car dolly and over charged me due to “computer issues” and when I returned it the kid who was supposed to unhook the dolly told me he'd be right over, I waited 10 minutes before unhooking it myself and seeing the kid sitting on his phone inside. Horrible experience with uhaul and not the first bad one either.

This was so quick and easy compared to the location in Hayward that took 3 hours for us to pick up our already scheduled vehicle. I highly recommend this Stockton location!!

Everything worked out fine - love the technology advancements with the reservation and check-out process. Also loved using the App for vehicle inspection and recording of gasoline and mileage numbers.

Either your company has a very messed up computer system or the workers dont know how to use it. Everytime I've been there twice now, once with a reservation, and just recent as a walk in and both times it has taken about 45 minutes to almost a hour to get out of there. I never got the email to load my drivers license. My debit card was decline, my bank said I was charged 3 times and then credited, so they froze my card for fraud. So I had to use a different card. 2nd time I used my second debit card that I used. Its stressful moving, but when you stand there waiting and 3 or 4 customers go in and out, and i stand there. Frustration level begins to rise. When we got the trailer home, we found the door open and there was glass and Dupree in the trailer and had to sweep it out before we could load it. In the future i will go to Lodi Uhaul. Never had such problems there. Sorry i have nothing to say good about my experience.

My original reservation was for a location in Modesto. I was not happy that on the evening before my reservation I received a call stating that the 26 foot truck I had reserved 10 days before was not available. The best your local person had to offer was a 15 foot truck with no apology. It was only when I called your reservation line and asked if a 26 foot truck was available in a nearby community was a available. The Stockton location was helpful but unsympathetic. I will need to think hard before I use U-haul ever again.

To improve don't ask someone for a second phone number. There is no need for it. Especially if they don't have a second one to give you so just make one up.

My uhaul was very dirty inside, trash under the seats, and ROACHES in the back. Alive and dead ones so I couldn't move my furniture because it there was so many. When I talked to the manager she just said oh well that sucks we're going to have to do better and then ignored us. I will NEVER go back to this location if things don't change. It's a pandemic and customers should be able to trust that Uhaul cares and cleans to CDC regulations.

They charged me $50 cleaning fee which I think is ridiculous even though I cleaned it out before I turned it in. Also I put more gas in it then it had. The whole experience was horrible and I won't recommend this location.

I asked for a smaller trailer, and it was not available to me for the time that I requested. Therefore I was forced into getting a much larger trailer, which cost me more money, and make my trip much more difficult. I had to drive 30+ miles to get the trailer, and it wasn't what I asked for.

Couldn't get the truck I wanted and needed at the time and location for my move keep sending me out of town for it . Very poor customer service always puts you on hold everytime you call I was on hold for more than a hour I finally just drove over there. I used this location in the passed it was good at one time but now it's very bad never going back

I wish sometimes that they had an hourly rate because sometimes I only need it a couple hours for a quick trip. I use uhaul regularly and am on a fixed income so it would help. I also would return the vehicle sooner so th ability for someone else o rent it again is high

The person assisting in the beginning was nice, but overall experience not good. The mileage was off on the truck I rented. I know the route I drove - no more than 8- 10 miles . I was in a hurry, and decided the quickest way was self check and didn't look closely at odometer. The check engine light came on midway, almost stalling. Upon return, the man there was unconcerned, never even apologized for the poor condition of the vehicle. And mileage was 35 miles- no way.
