Fire the franchise! My daughter had to crawl under the tow Dolly because they said they couldn't hook it up or ratchet the band around the tires! I rented from UHAUL many times and they were the worst! I came the previous night and they said they could not even hook the dolly up. I would have to come back the next day. Very little if any Customerservice!. They had to fix a brake light before we could go!Michael L.

Pretty slow service, had to wait 20mins in line to pick up and then chase someone down to drop off. The app did not work for pick up or drop off of the truck, which was very annoying. During pick up, it didn't have an option to start pickup, and during drop off, the camera button was enabled, but did nothing when pressed, even after restarting the app (I am an Android developer and know my way around, usually).DAVID W.

Check all components of the trailers you guys rent out,I had to drive to home depot to buy straps to temporarily use until I could make the 20 min drive (completely out of my way so it ended up being 40 min) to your Fresno location to have it repaired and when dropped off was only offered 20% off my next rental....JUSTIN F.

It was strange that they didn't ask me what time I was bringing it back and I got a rude awakening saying I would be charged a 100$ if I didn't bring it back and I said it doesn't go back for 4 more hours that's the 24 hours I rented she said no Your contract said rent at 11 AM return at 3 AM in the morning and I said there's no way I would agree to something like that I always rent a U-Haul if you look at my history for 24 hours and she assured me that I would be charged if I didn't bring it back right away and on my way to U-Haul I talked to get gas and in the meantime I called the chat line because it was a Sunday and things were not open yet to talk to Such as the call Center but I thought the automated and went to U-Haul chat center online and was able to get it all corrected for 24 hours but I was already on my way so it didn't matter I know to air is human but it really messed up my sleeping schedule and how I wanted to finish my move with the storage and I got in my sleep I was going to rent a small U-Haul now because I hadn't finished but everything got screwed up and I guess I should've read my contract so I'm just As well at fault for not reading but now I will from now on and make sure my conversation is it's renting for 24 hours right because this was my second rent for this week to finish what I was doing in my move but yes U-Haul is the best and I thank you for asking me to the survey I will rent U-Haul in the futureBecause I've always relied on U-Haul for the last 25 years God bless the owners of U-Haul and their workersVALERIE H.

Not the closest for me. I don't like the fact that just because it's a one way trailer rental I have to go to Stockton to pick it up! And then you try to contact me to tell me not to drop it off at my closest location. Customer service is not a priority in this manner. However the employees were great. The check engine light was on the whole time I drove the truck. Also the fuel wasn't filled which meant that I had to get gas before I even started my move. Well I've always rented from uhaul in the past and returned many different types of trailers in the middle of the night without problem, this is due to living in a home owner controlled community and not being able to leave vehicles in the street or being finded $150.00. So I always drop then off when I'm done how ever this time I was charged a 20.00 fee for night drop-off fee which I thought was ridiculous fee. And was charged with out my authorization and never notified of this before hand of this process and procedure ill be charging this unauthorized transaction asap. Really bad policy.James M.

I rented the van for two hours, only drove it 10 miles to pick up a vehicle being repaired, then back. I was correctly charged for the 10 miles, but the charged me $10.50 for gas. The gas meter was higher when I returned the van then what the app showed me when I rented it. I pointed it out and they reluctantly said they would refund the $10.50. Of course they did not make the change. Very disappointed in the customer service by the woman who helped me..dory N.

When I got into the vehicle the inside was dirty the dash was dirty the windows were dirty could hardly see out of them I cleaned the inside and I cleaned the windows myself. But overall the vehicle ran well I had no issues out of it and I would rent from you guys againFrank G.

When I arrived to return the U-Haul, an employee walks around the U-Haul 10' Van to spray around the van with a tire air compressor. He didn't ask me or communicate with me to see whether if I wanted to return the van. He later walked away to help another customer fill two of their propane tanks. Therefore, I understood that this customer was here first which I didn't mind. While working on the second propane tank, two more cars arrive lining up to get propane. While refilling the last tank for the first customer, he begins communicating with the 2nd propane tank customer in the second vehicle. I'm still sitting in my van because there's a sign that says to stop and park there to wait for an associate to check me out so I'm unsure what they talked about but after he finished up with the first customer, this employee skipped my turn and continued filling up the remaining two customers that pulled up behind the first customer. I had to get off the van to talk to an employee indoors twice. At some point in between the mentioned story, there was a supervisor that walked to my vehicle and asked if I were returning. I told him yes and he mentioned if you're just dropping off, you can leave the keys and we'll send you an email. I was a bit confused at this point because I didn't get a receipt, nor did anyone inspect the truck. What also bothered me was that I didn't remember giving U-Haul my email when I first rented the van. Therefore, a lot of things went wrong here. I couldn't leave without handling the situation properly so that's when I went inside the second time to get the employee indoors to help me out. Customers in this order: 1. First propane customer 2. Me (vehicle return) 3. Second propane customer 4. Third propane customer Need new supervisor or management. Very unsatisfactory. I spent a total of 45 minutes just to check-in a van.ERIC O.

The truck cab smelled so bad that we couldn't drive it without having the windows open. I was told the insurance would be $20 but I was charged $20 PER DAY. Overall, a bad experience.SARAH T.
The website is hard to navigate through, so I found it easier to go to the physical location of the facility and talk to the office employees. Of course, that works only if you are lucky enough to arrive at a time when there is not a line for waiting your turn. Doesn't seem to be enough staff at busy times. However, they do remain calm and thorough even in the face of sometimes very incensed customers.GUSTAF J.
