I rented a 15' truck w/a tow dolly and it tracked perfectly.Drove from Louisiana to southern part of Idaho and the truck handled the climb from sea level to 6000 ft above sea level with ease.I am Very Impressed.

The trucks really need cruise control in them. It made it a very long trip from Lake Charles LA to Kalamazoo Mi without it.

The truck had jack Daniel bottle tops, motel key and used cigars in the glove box.. COVID 19 is spreading fast. The inside of the trucks need to be cleaned each time it's return. I do have pictures of the mess.

People at this location were excellent on the day of the rental. They helped as much as they could. The problem is not with them but with the UHaul system. Not all of the blankets we ordered were available. Moreover, we stopped in the day before to make sure everything was good to go, and we were assured everything was good. There has to be a better way to assure customers don't waste precious rental time trotting across town attempting to find items which were reserved for us. Although the truck we rented was in good mechanical order, the cab was dirty and had mud in it. With COVID, not sure if it was sanitized appropriately.

I reserved a truck two weeks in advance for my move to Lafayette, an hour away. Five minutes before I arrived to get my truck, they said they didn't have my truck and that I had to drive an hour away to get one. I had to improvise and get a smaller stuff which I knew couldn't hold all my stuff. All this complication made my trip from 1 U-Haul load to two U-Haul load resulting in costing me more money due to spending more mileage. This cost me about 8 hours in total of lost time and made my move to my brand new house a terrible exhausting experience.

Fix the light on the trailer

The last 2 reservations I had at the HWY 14 location were unpleasant experiences. Both times I showed up, my reservation was canceled without my knowledge. The first excuse I was given was that the Reservations Department is overbooking the location on Sunday November 29th, and no truck actually existed. One of the gentleman at the front counter helped me and found a truck I could use. While still at the location on November 29th, I asked how to avoid this in the future. The employee at the front counter said to “Physically come to our location and book to ensure you will have a truck.” I decided to book at that very moment for yesterday December 5th. I showed up on yesterday December 5th...and was told I had no truck! The excuse I was given again, was that the “Yes. The guy at the front counter made the reservation, and told me I would have a truck when I showed up, but the Reservations Department hasn't ASSIGNED a truck.” I was really disappointed in the level of customer service and lack of responsibility on the part of the employees at that location. Again, that same young man from November 29th found me a truck. However, the confidence I have in U-Haul's ability to provide even the basic level of customer service has diminished. I am just one little customer that happens to rent U-Haul's several times a month. I'm sure you all loosing my business wouldn't care to anyone. It disappointing to know I have no choice but to find other means of hauling transportation going forward.

My last rental was OK. The hook up of the trailer was NOT done right. The trailer was unhitched on the highway and that PUT MY WIFE AND ME IN A LOT OF DANGER. Thankfully one of the safety chains held and I was able to get off the road safely after swerving across multiple lanes. I definitely will be checking the hook up personally from now on to make sure the trailer was hitched on right by U-Haul people. I've done a lot of business with U-Haul and this was definitely not a good experience. I still recommend U-Haul based on past experience.

Repeated question on the Uhaul app about the conditions of my towing truck is annoying. I made 4 trailer rentals in a span of a few weeks. Can't it tell that my truck can tow things with ease?

Truck smelled like cigarette smoke and I was supposed to return in the area I was moving and was told to return where I picked up. This notification was given to me at the desk when picking up the vehicle. Very inconvenient since I had to rush 50 miles back in order to return before closing.

Don't tell a customer they can reserve a truck for two days and then email them a confirmation for one day and then upon pickup when questioned about return date be told you aren't doing 2 day rentals at this time. Suppose we were moving to another state, still no two day rentals? We found another company to rent us a truck and returned yours as soon as we could pick up the new one.

I rented a vehicle tow dolly, one of the safety chains was broke on it, I questioned the safety factor of it and the person assisted me stated it would only be an issue if I had gotten into an accident. When I returned the dolly, it was immediately rented out again without the chain being repaired. The same person assisted me and I asked him why were they renting this dolly out again with the chain broken and his response was, either the person take it as is or they wouldn't get a dolly on today

Love the online check in option. It seemed to help us and the employee handling our checkin. Great feature! We were late due to traffic and were easily able to finish the check in process due to this feature. Also, the employee was awesome. Good natured, super nice, and very helpful. The Hwy 14 location in Lake Charles, LA has helped us on multiple occasions and we always have a wonderful experience. Glenn, the manager is a really great guy. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

Very disappointed had to pay 75.00 for a trailer my car could not pull. Brought the trailer right back and could not recieved my money back. Uhaul new when made the resavacation that i was hauling 2007 Lexus from Lake Charles to Monroe thats 4 hrs away and once we loaded the car and kids it was like almost 2 hrs passed and brought the trailer right back because my car couldn't pull that weight. Im not referring anyone to Uhaul and also social media also heard how my moneu got taken from uhaul.

I never visited the facility because i rented a U-Box. The person who contacted me at the Lake Charles facility was condescending and expected me to make arrangements to pick up it up.

I had 2 U-Boxes of construction tools & equipment shiped to the facility from an out of state location. I unloaded the boxes at the facility. The local folks were very accommodating.
