This was 20 minutes away from where i had asked to be and through a toll. the 50 extra miles I was given did not justify/make up for that and none of the staff seemed to be on the same page about where my truck that they had just cleaned within the hour since so I was running around the parking lot for the main building and an additional parking lot across the street for 10 minutes only to find out it was hidden behind the building out of my reach even though I said I wanted to do mobile pickupTyler R.

Not this location but at the location on Magic Hollow Blvd in Virginia Beach tell them to not give reservations away. It took me 5 days to move instead of one. Had people lined up and they rented my u haul to someone else. Couldn't get another one the size I needed until 230 pm instead of at 9 am. We ended up moving by ourselves. I am a 69 year female. I actually reserved my rental online to another location that had a guarantee that they had it. I choose this location which was slightly further to where I was going with a time slot so I had a better chance to just get there and go and to where I needed on time, but they didn't have the kind that could go one way and I had to go to a different location. Also, to make things quick, I had done almost everything online to make my pick up as quick as possible, but I still had to give my card info and even had to scan my license, stuff I feel like could have all been done online and all I have to do is show my license and card to ensure they match and be out the door in minutes.STEVEN M.

I'm not sure what you can do to improve. I was pleased with how they accommodated me. I asked how much was the rental, and I was told 39.95 for24hrs. I didn't realize my reservation was only for four hours. I had to make to moves and I knew 4 hours wouldn't be enough time. After sharing that information with the representative he was able to extend my time 2 and 1/2 additional hours which was exactly what I needed to get my moves completed.FREDERICKEUGENE P.

The truck I rented was in desperate need of mechanical repairs; steering wheel was very loose and hard to keep truck straight. I was charged $551 for this rental but U-haul also chose to put a hold on an additional $441 of mine until last night, which has caused a lot of financial problems for me. I usually rent trucks from the Greenbrier location, they didn't have any available for as long as I needed the rental and sent me to the Raby Road location, I've NEVER paid this much for a rental. I rent trucks several times a year to pick my sons belongings up from college and back and usually spend $150 plus gas for rental, and always rent on weekends. I have no idea why this was over $500 this time but I cannot continue to use U-haul at those absurd rates.TAMARAB S.

I reserved the car hauler at Portsmouth location and got emails and messages saying I had to go to norfolk to pickup at two different locations had to call multiple times to figure out where I had to go.I just don't understand why I can pick a location close to my house only to have to go further away to pick up what I need,also drove by the uhaul where I reserved the trailer and it was In The parking lot so I really don't understand what happened but was disappointed at having to travel further away to get what I needed the people were fine and helpful but just don't understand the whole fiasco and like I said was very disappointed being able to pick where I wanted to pickup and told to go somewhere else and a trailer I could have used was there not to happy with thatDAVIDSCOTT O.

My appt for pick up was 630. Showed up and waited 20 minutes for an employee. When an employee showed up stopped working with me to finish up someone else. After all was said and done was there for over an hour for a trailer. Then the trailer I got the straps were frayed. Also I put in a location for pick up across the street from my house for pick up 2 weeks in advance and the day before pick up moved it 30 min down the road.
