The manager there was unprofessional and I really will never use this facility again. How she rent the truck I had out before I turn it back in and then try to charge me 50 more dollars for no reason on a late charge and I was there 4 hours before my contract was upREGINALDDALTON K.

The Van that they give me had a cracked windshield I let them know about it before I drove off they say that they were aware of it. Very poor communicators. They didn't have our truck at pick up even after receiving a call confirming they did. At the counter it was a mystery for15 min while someone went to check. My bill was not as I reserved it with unlimited miles it was Changed To $.40 a mile. Why take online reservations if you don't honor the rate and you don't have the equipment and you won't tell me why. So frustrating. This is not my first rental. It's my 20th and last.JEFFREY K.

He started focused, kind, patient and professional. I was so impressed with his multitasking abilities. There was a young lady there training and she jumped right in and helped every way she could. This was one of the most unorganized and chaotic rental experiences I've ever had. From the online reservation process not allowing me to extend dates due to programming bugs, to them juggling my location around and not having the trailer I reserved available, all the way to when I returned it - and having them call me 5 days after I returned the trailer asking where it was. Totally disorganized. And everyone in the store also renting was frustrated with their experience as well. Most of these uhaul locations are under staffed as it is, but it appears their inventory system is in utter chaos.Jeremy A.

Poor customer service. Under staffed. Employee was on phone on other company business while trying to serve me and walked off to â€œcheck somethingâ€ multiple times. Items I had reserved where not available. Poor attention to detail. Contract and vehicle given to me did not match. I discovered I had the wrong vehicle listed on my contract while checking the mileage and then had to wait in line to resolve again. I drove straight to destination with no stops but yet was charged excess mileage. It seems adequate mileage would be included. Disappointing experience all around.Jason L.
I had an extremely frustrating move, and the U-Haul center did amazing in helping meet me halfway and I will be sure to drive all the way out to them if I need to use a truck or something in the future. When I picked up the truck and finally opened the back clearly the truck had been used to transport some sort of crazy chemicals. I'm unsure if it was chlorine, or spilt paint thinner or any other particular chemical but it did make all of us lightheaded and gave us all headaches. The truck overall was in great mechanical condition and the cab was clean. Someone should have inspected the trailer and let it air our properly. Every person I dealt with was professional and helpful. The Uhaul hotline is kind of a nightmare but that isn't uhauls fault. Value for money was excellent!David B.

My first reservation was switched to this location because of truck availability. They called me and switched it and got me a truck ðŸšš so i got my move done.DEREK V.
GO WITH BUDGET VANLINES OR PENSKE OR SOMEONE ELSE. Not really this specific location, but U-Haul in general was TERRIBLE this time. We always use U-Haul whenever we are moving large furniture and this time we were moving and it was awful. First, I prepaid over $700 for our move, was locked in to pickup the truck a few miles from our apartment. Fast forward to the DAY OF pickup where I check the U-Haul app and they switched pick up location to over an hour and a half away from my home. I call the original U-Haul store and they try contacting reservations AND the other store and they couldn't get ahold of anyone. Even they were complaining about how no one answers. THEN, the lady tells me there's nothing she can do that she doesn't even have a truck for me she's not sure why they would have moved my reservation. So I call the 800 number, after 45 minutes I finally get ahold of someone (mind you the automated system says 5-10 min wait) and the guy was awesome. Told me he saw our reservation and was so sorry this happened and not to worry, he was putting us through to someone who would find us a truck on this side of the water (we live on a peninsula). Get to the next lady and she tells me there are no trucks available on this side of the water and she's so sorry. She gives us 60 extra miles (to cover the travel from the U-Haul store to our home) and gives us an extra day to unpack. THENNNN we get to the U-Haul store an hour and a half away and our truck doesn't start ðŸ˜‚ wait in line for another 30 minutes, the guy goes and gets it started and brings it out front. Then they forgot our dollies. Then we go back in and grab them. We get to our house and our appliance dolly is chewed all up, the sliders to help you go down stairs weren't even functional. Honestly, I have a 10 month old baby. To keep her in the car for 3 hours to pick up a damn U-Haul that I purposely booked in advance to avoid this, and then proceed to take her on a 7 hour drive to our new home is a little ridiculous. The fact that you can't get ahold of anyone is bs. And the fact that the best U-Haul offered to do was give us 60 free miles after the freaking run around they gave us on the DAY OF OUR MOVE - literally 4 hours before, is insane. Like at least reimburse us 25% or something for all the crap we dealt with. Basically, we are done with uhaul. Go to budgets website sit on there page for about 10 minutes without checking out and booking and they'll offer you a 25% discount code. Staff was courteous and attentive. However, I was supposed to pick up 2 U-Box containers and they were not accessible. The containers are not in the same location. One box was inaccessible because a door was damaged and the other box was never sent to the location. I was told that someone would call me the next week when the door was repaired and my other container arrived at the pick up location. I never received a return call. When I called back, the agent had trouble locating one box and was unsure if the other box was accessible. In the meantime, I have been charged for another month's rent for each container; and I still have no resolution as to when and where I can retrieve my belongings from the U-Box containers.CHARLENEJEFFERSO G.

Not this location but at the location on Magic Hollow Blvd in Virginia Beach tell them to not give reservations away. It took me 5 days to move instead of one. Had people lined up and they rented my u haul to someone else. Couldn't get another one the size I needed until 230 pm instead of at 9 am. We ended up moving by ourselves. I am a 69 year female.
