DENIS LNew inspection young guy in this branch is really good and understanding. I should say very special thank to the manager Bryan, because we dropped down the dolly but no one saw us and he helped us a lot by confirming and not charging just because of can not confirming. Really thank you all I appreciate your respect and problem solving.
Kika MThe truck was dirty and had snow on the windshield. I complained that the fuel gauge was not correct and they said everything was fine. When I returned, I showed the employee the gauge and a photo of what it looked like in the morning and he said everything was fine. Later, I received a report that they charged me 19 liters of fuel. I was very disappointed with the service.
HERBERT DGot the truck fully covered in ice and snow , wasted almost a hour of my time trying to access the back door only to find out none of the stuff I purchased to help me move was in there so I had to drive back to uhaul 15 minutes away and get the things and they didn’t even have the write dolly and still charged me . Barely any gas in the truck when I booked it to travel to Fredericton (174km) just overall terrible experience and really expected more when paying 300+$ for a rental .

Norbert BI had a storage unit in my name but it belonged to my best friend who lived on the island and it was just more convenient for him to put it in my name as he didn't like paper trails. He passed away in October and I'm a single mom on disability who's been struggling after having to pay for his cremation and final arrangements as well as my mortgage renewed at a significantly higher rate so I have been unable to pay for this unit as he paid it every month because it held his belongings. I have called the location on four separate occasions to speak to the manager And explain the situation to him so that he can understand those belongings are not mine but those of my best friend who passed away. Each time he was unavailable and so I left my name and number and was assured that he would return my call. I wanted to explain to him that I am in the process of remortgaging my house and will have the funds shortly to bring the unit up to date but I have not heard from him at all and get this email asking me to review U-Haul which must mean they closed the storage unit. So forgive me for the poor rating but I am absolutely disgusted with this location and the manager there for not once returning my call and allowing me to explain the situation. As well I also sent an email to the location and explained all this to them and I did not hear back on that either. Terrible customer service in my opinion

What bothers meet most, is when I try to reach the branch and they ask me to hold on the phone for a moment, and then 16 minutes later there's still no one on the line. I understand they're serving other customers, but just take my number and call me back, which means once the lineup is gone down and not two days later.

GARY AIt was my first time renting a U-Haul and I made it very clear I didn’t know how the process worked. The employee didn’t tell me that I had to grab the dolly myself on my way out. I left but called when I realized that I didn’t have it. The employee offered for me to come back for it and said they would give me a discount on kilometres driven because I had to come back for it. When I got my bill, there was no discount. I called and them employee told me they couldn’t honour WHAT THEIR STAFF promised me. I was told that they would contact the owner and get back to me. I’ve left it a few days and have yet to hear back… the original staff member was considerate and kind. All other treatment has been horrible. Safe to say I won’t be coming back.

It’s not good that customers should do it by their own on pick up time which took half an hour from us to remove snow and ice from steps and the back door locked and frozen because of the ice. It’s better if the responsible person come and help your customers to remove ice and snow. Thanks for this box
Kika MI rented at another location and they sent me to a complete other location ( they could of sent an email prior to tell me the location had changed). The girl that dealed with our rental at 2nd location was super rude and not helpfull at all. She didnt even aknowledge the huge line . But we were happy with the guy working there he was nice and helpfull when came the time to attach the trailer to the truck!

AUSTIN BHad pre-booked a 10' van for 9:30AM on a Saturday AM & arrived @ 9:20AM only to find 5 people in line ahead of me with but one service guy @ the desk...waited in the line for a full 35 minutes which I feel is unacceptable. A busy Saturday AM should be anticipated with a 2nd service person on staff & ready to go if needed. Will say the guy at the desk was personable & most efficient...but he should not have been working all by himself.

No availability for our specific needs at that location but went above and beyond by showing all available options in case they would work for us. Ended up at the Mountain Rd location where upon arriving we were served by Jesse. Quick, efficient, friendly and very helpful. Rented storage and a truck with zero complications. Ended the day with Brianna who was also efficient, quick and friendly. 5 stars all around for a wonderful moving day with absolutely zero hassle. Thank you!

DANIEL JWhile loading up the truck to exit the facility, we were treated rudely by a staff member for parking in front of the unit we had rented. We were about 5 minutes away from being done, but made us put the ramp away, potentially move a half-packed load and get closer to the row of lockers - blocking 7 lockers with the way she wanted to park us. She said it would be 'inconvenient' for the trucks to have to go around us, even though there was lots of space. She then proceeded to stop and order two of my friends who were parked IN LEGAL PARKING SPOTS to move out of the spots and park way on the other side of the lot - for no good reason. Extremely disappointed. Will not do business with this location again due to the way we were treated. Very unprofessional, uncaring, and plain disrespectful.

JOSEPH AI reserved the car and a forklift 5 weeks in advance. When I arrived, they said there were no forklifts. What's the point of making reservations if they're not going to guarantee it? Also, the cost they charged to my credit card doesn't correspond to what they sent me in the invoice by email, since they didn't give me a physical receipt on site so I wouldn't ask questions about it or make a claim.
DIEGO AI have major issues and am completely dissatisfied with the scheduling and booking system U-Haul is using and would like a phone call. I booked in advance and secured with a visa. Card. I was bumped to two different locations and towns the day before my pickup. I was also denied my booking 15'trucked ....was offered a 20 ft in a town over and that was also lost and was offered a 26' with a location even farther away. It all had to do with one way travel and drop off. The Moncton location had MANY 15 ft trucks available but refused to rent them to me becuase I was doing an interprovincial drop off. The fee was more gas cost and becuase I was given a significantly larger truck I needed tie downs and straps ...the location said I could buy them . So more cost to me. It also took me an extra hour of driving to get to the rental locations and town I was being rescheduled to. I extremely disappointed with U-Haul and whom ever felt they could throw me around with no regard to my reservation.

Kika MEven though I had booked a week in advance, the truck was not cleaned off of snow and I had to do this. Prior to even getting there the parking lot had not been plowed even after I returned hours later which resulted in soaking went shoes because of the slush even before the moving day began. Once I returned it was hard to find someone to check me in. I had to go into customer service who send me outside to the another person who sent me back inside and then again was send back out to be able to return the vehicle.

JEAN MThe online setup feature is very nice but the staff were friendly and helpful when needed. The facility was always very clean which included the inside loading dock. No issues with security as the facility seems very well covered by cameras. Bonus feature is that is was also well covered with pest control traps to ensure that nothing got into the units to destroy peoples items. There are are good selection of various size units and enough carts to transport your items. Overall everything went smooth and I would definitely rent storage from you again should it be needed.

LYNN SBetter customer service, the light wasn’t working in the truck bay which made my job a lot harder taking me more time and costing more money with the fact that there was almost no light I ended up stepping on a nail which nearly injured me quite badly. I called the location for help they proposed to bring back the truck and switch it but it wasn’t possible as I was almost an hour away from the location they ended up saying “there’s nothing I can do for you” which was very frustrating. When I pick up the truck it wasn’t so clean which I was okay with because I had to transport construction garbage but before bringing it back I cleaned it up to return it in the same state and they ended up charging me for the cleaning I then called to inquire about it and I ask them for pictures of the dirtiness of the truck to prove the extra charges which they said they couldn’t and when I spoke again about the light not working they said I was wrong and everything was okay despite me following all the instructions to turn it on and spending about 30 minutes trying to make it work. I’m very disappointed, nobody tried to make my experience any better despite me being a good customer coming back couple times a week to rent trucks, I spent thousands renting trucks just this month but now I’m tired of being treated unprofessionally so I decided to take my business elsewhere

Rene V | Overall ExperienceThere was some confusion when using the U-haul app. The actual hours did not match those listed in the app. Staff explained that they had reduced the hours of access to the office hours due to past incidents that occurred after office hours when personnel were not on site. Additionally I used the app to submit a move out request but it was never addressed until I went in person several days later. It was unclear if this would have led to another months fee if it had been closer to the renewal date.

My huge issue is for a unit that has no food or perishable items in it we got infested with mice and it chewed my couch and bed and the only resolve is oh claims will reach you with no idea in when. That is unacceptable to leave your customers without those important home items.

Diane D | Overall ExperienceThe initial process of booking the storage unit was explained but the explanation of where the lock would be when I moved into the unit was inaccurate. There was no lock in the unit when I got there. I went back to the front desk and she said 'it would be laying on the floor in the room, you'll have to look for it's. I left the facility without closing my locker door or locking it to get my rental truck. When I returned it was someone else at the front desk. I explained to him I didn't find a lock, and he was gracious enough to bring one with him and walk over to the unit with me to inspect to locker. He was very pleasant to deal with and even offered to call other facilities for me in The Saint John area after I explained to him this was temporary until I found a house in Saint john. He was very helpful, friendly and willing to try to help in any way he could.
