Quit giving me the National call center!!! They know little & CARE LESS about anyone!!--You NEED to change it so We are allowed to talk to the center we are using AS SOON AS WE ASK FOR THEM!! or tell them to give the customer a call back. This causes huge stress many times to me--as well as waiting for 15 minutes & finding out I am getting the NATIONAL call center which I DON'T WANT !!!! I had a tire go flat on me due to not being checked. And almost kill me and my pregnant wife in Quebec. I was given 150 dollars of my rental back and am absolutely disgusted. I asked for a complete refund and did not receive it if something is not done beyond this measly 150 dollars for almost costing us our lives I will go the media and look into getting a lawyer. Terrible service we won't be using U-Haul again in the future we'll use a small moving company that is polite to their customers. We went in and to return the equipment and there was a credit card on file for our deposit that we had already paid, the woman asked if we wanted to charge the outstanding balance of $20 to that card on file we said yes. She then said okay you guys are good to go have a good day. We walked out and then a few days later I get this rude email saying that you're charging me a late fee for the payment if I don't pay within 7 days and on top of it threatening collections or an attorney for $20. I get that that's the standard letter but when your employees make a mistake and tell us that they're going to do one thing which is charging a card on file and then don't do what they say they will don't put the onus on the customer and send the threatening email right off the bat you can say something very calm like unfortunately you still have an outstanding balance can you please make arrangements for this at your earliest convenience here's our contact information we ask that you pay it within 30 days. that's enough you don't have to threaten an attorney right in the first freaking email I think that's really rude and I think that your service needs to be improved and I've used you guys before without issue and this time it was a big issue my mother had to go back in and arrange to pay this and I had to email and tell you guys to back off. Get better customer service and get better agents that actually do their job correctly thanks so muchrobert B.
