Ordered a hand truck for rental and after arriving was told they did not have one available. I even asked if they could pull one they had for sale in their store and use it as my rental and she said no. Had to scramble to find another hand truck as Uhaul is apparently unreliable. Also wanted a coupling lock that I saw on the Uhaul website but she said they do not sell that one at that store. Besides those issues, the experience was okay.

The girl happily took my reservation and said see you Saturday. A few minutes after I left the store, I received a phone call that they might not take my reservation for the location I wanted they would let me know on Thursday. Sure, enough Thursday came, and I had to go to another location to pick up and drop off my trailer. That was inconvenient and very unprofessional.

MONTE KThe only issue I have was...After having the first month for free....I moved out 3 days after. I paid $207 for the next month making sure of not having to pay late fees...I talk to a customer service rep and was told I wouldn't be getting any of the payment back. I feel that I should have been given most of my money back because I wasn't there a whole week into the next month.

JOHN BClocks to clock in never work unless you try 4-5 times The storage door locks are very hard to slide close. There are rats and roaches in the climate control building that you pay a lot for to perserve you things but rat feces and roach discretion all on my boxes and on my cloths. Felt dirty if I had to come and look in a box because of that. They carry bacteria and diseases. You need a computer digital system. Maybe my unit wouldn't have gotten robbed and the camera conviently were not on an my unit was the only one robbed in the entire building so I know they watch me and it was a inside job!

Marco FUnfortunately, it was terrible. I gambled with my life. The truck I rented was in such bad condition that many truck drivers on the road had to warn me not to use it. While driving at 60-65 mph, the truck shook so violently in the middle of the trailer that it felt like it was going to split in two. I narrowly avoided accidents multiple times. I even thought about taking the truck to a service center to get a report and suing you for directly endangering my life. If I had been in an accident or if something had happened to the truck, you would have blamed me for everything. Even the brakes on your truck don’t work properly. Honestly, I want to sue you. I narrowly avoided several accidents due to the truck’s defects.

No manager on site. Janell had to be phoned. No apologies just my refund and goodbye with a customer service number that had over an hour wait and was the incorrect number then the correct number had a 45 minute wait just to hang up on me and not bother to return my call in the middle of attempting to search for a similar storage. Wether or not it was reception the representative could have called me back. Everything was so inconvenient, uncalled for and I’m just stuck on top of grieving. Worst and just sad horrible experience. Wouldn’t give them 5 stars I’d give none if I could. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Eduardo L | First ImpressionsI reserved a storage space and when I went to the facility I paid for it just to go and find out there was already a lock with someone’s belongings in it. I go back into office there was no manager at the site. Employee #1 had to phone a manager which still stated it wasn’t occupied. Both employees had no clue as to what they were even doing from the beginning, didn’t know how to properly speak to customers and every time they were asked something they would look at each other. Nothing was known at this facility and they had no one above them on site to direct them. Janell which was who they phoned didn’t even apologize she just told them to refund me. Sucks to reserve on a Wednesday to get ready to move everything on a Friday and rest of the weekend to clear the home of my deceased father just to find out it’s already reserved and occupied and no luck on finding a storage as big i initially found available online. I did call the customer service phone number provided by one of the employees and waited an hour and a half to be told that was not the correct number for these situations. On hold for another 45 minutes just to get hung up on in the middle of trying to help me search for one. That representative could have called me back if she didn’t mean to hang up or whatever the actual circumstances were. She had all my information pulled up there was no excuse not to try and call me back. Gave up after that. I’m overwhelmed still without a storage wish the information online would have been accurate and I could have used those two days to find one that was actually available. If I could give NO stars I would. Horrible horrible experience without apologies. Grieving and stuck!!!!

When I moved into my unit the girl assisting me sold me a regular padlock. After leaving they put a required disc lock on and nobody knew where the key was so I had to pay another y'all employee $50 to cut the lock they put on off bc nobody knew where the key was in order to even access my belongings since they were out in. When they could have easily called me to come purchase a lock and put it on myself to avoid this chaos. This is the entire reason I moved out and relocated my belongings to a new location. I would like to be reimbursed for the fee I was charged to access my items due to their actions and lack of communication.

However the new one I don’t have a key for I cannot access unless someone is coming outta there. I tried calling the manager for after hours and omg!!! Didn’t get no where with her and for her to tell her employee if they don’t have another storage unit to refund me my money back, but I already paid for a storage and needed it. I’m a day behind because of the unorganized storage rental. I’m scared to leave town not knowing if the new unit I was assigned might get messed up because I paid cash and yes I do have my receipts. I just wish the person who checks you out explain how to access the gate to get in and make the customer knowledgeable of the process. The problem was fixed I’m just mad I have to pay an extra day because the experience.

My personal opinion you need more managers such as her, I’ve never met her personally but I feel as if I’ve been knowing her for years, what it is I was in a managerial position for over 17 years and what I relate to is she treat the customers the way she wants to be treated. I’ve had my experience of dealing with some of your other managers and to be honest they can take a 101 managers class from Ms Shermetha she’s the manager at the U-HAUL on Antoine and Sam Houston Pkwy
