My issues were 1. The gas tank reading was incorrect 2. I rented a van and it was infested with roaches! I would have immediately brought it back to address the situation but only had a two hour move in window that could not be changed, gahhh. 3. No present employees at the desk for at least 15 minutes. Had to search out side to find someone so I could return the van. 4. Received a phone call the day after returning the vehicle asking when I planned on bringing it back because I said it would be one day, in which I replied I did and before the time I said I would have it back to the center. Was spoken to with suspicion and was told we don't have your key behind the counter. I described the employee which helped me and then was informed I could be held accountable.SUZANNE C.

I did not go to the store, and they did not recommend any # of containers. No on-site staff was involved, but U-Haul & U-Box staff over the phone were less than abysmal. NEVER AGAIN!! Yes, my boxes arrived on time, and the people who physically delivered & picked up the units on both sides of the moves were the only good part of this experience. Both ladies were exceptional. One of the boxes I received was damaged, and one was apparently jostled about substantially at some point in transport. That was AFTER THEY FINALLY FOUND MY BOXES!! For a while no one could account for them!!!! We won't even get into the nightmarish experience and nearly a dozen hours wasted trying to schedule delivery after transport. Since I got 5 boxes, there were so many pads I would have had to rent another box to move them all. I asked for someone to pick them up pre-move, but they refused to sign acknowledging that they had taken the pads + U-Box was unable to deliver my last box without the pads even though they knew I didn't need them. Overall this was a hellish experience, and unfortunately it's not over yet.marci M.
Emichael was so lovely. That was the 4th location I went to that day. The first I was directed to for my reservation was out in the woods at a junkyard with no direction or parking. If they ever film a Deliverance 2, it will make the perfect location. They also had Confederate flags hanging on their building and I'm not giving money to Insurrectionist mouth-breathing racists. While the final location was quick and easy, the overall experience was a huge time-wasting nightmare that sent me to every corner of Jacksonville.JAIME C.

the website asked the same questions several times so did the the delivery guy- nothing changed. the lock setup on the Ubox is useless, remove 4 screws and you are in, the hasp only takes a small padlock.. Scheduling pick up of box when emptied took 11 days.Jeffrey B.

Truck had 2 holes in the top. On a 15" truck if tge door is up it covered the holes. It rained and my furniturw and cloethwa got wet. It's unacceptable and uhaul charging ao much to rent these truck that are not well maintained. I'm not happyANTOINETTE M.

I didn't have a problem with the location or the staff. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Especially Kaitlyn Lucontro. She deserves a raise ASAP! The world would be a better place if we had more people like her. But on the other hand from a company standpoint I don't like the fact that I have two charges on my card that can't be explained. All together I have 3 separate charges on my card and 2 of them aren't on my receipt. I no mean a big company like you should be more straightforward. Not hit customers with charges that can't be explained. Also the clean up guy needs to be more thorough. My truck was crawling with roaches. I went to sweep it out before I loaded it and that's when I noticed the bugs. And my truck wasn't running properly. The check engine light was on the whole time, it stalled on me for about 10 minutes and it made a really loud noise while I drove it. Someone at the location said it was the catalytic converter. On a whole I had a rough moving experience and I feel like I deserve a full refund. The only bright side to my recent U Haul experience was Kaitlyn. She was very nice and professional and she made me laugh when I was really ready to curse everybody out! Also not one of the 3 dollies I chose was available. I was given 2 that are normally for say and I has to drive to another location to pick up another one. SMHMichael F.

I had a reservation at the Edgewood location reserved and paid 72 hours prior upon arrival was told my reservation was cancelled and had to go to another location which was 20 miles from where we stay. Had to get a bigger truck and lost money. I have been using U-Haul for over 30 years and never had the experience I had this pass weekend. The person at the Edgewood Location was very unprofessional didn't know they work there wasn't even in uniform. Fast forward to Normandy location how the corporate office advise to pick up cargo van here and still they vehicle is being rented right before our eyes.MICHAEL G.
My U-Haul experience for the weekend was a nightmare, but this location did try to make it right and i certainly commend them for it. First our reservation location was changed without notice. Then when we went to the partner location to get the truck it was missing a mirror. Finally we had to come to this location to get the situation sorted. The process overall took nearly 3 hours causing us to miss the window that we had reserved our movers. While it took a bit of time to get it sorted, the associate at this location was very sympathetic and helpful in trying to get the situation sorted.john B.

I didn't even get to use the truck being I had to wait at a friend's house for about 2 hours all too find out the truck would be too small. I literally went 3 miles and didn't even use it yet the manager refused to refund me even though I changed for a larger truck. Not to mention my reservation was 11 and didn't get taken care of until 1245. Very poor customer service on the management. Will be dispute with my bank.heather D.

The pickup was painless and the staff friendly. One of the tabs which hold the gate was out of alignment making it very difficult to remove and the gate very difficult to open. Bed of the trailer had some dust/rust, which I didn't really mind but was later made to clean before returning.ALEXANDER P.
I owe on a previous contract, everything I go to pay it cannot be found,as a over the road driver I don't have hours to sit & wait & get run around trying to pay a debt that can't be found,after my short break every two weeks ( 34 hrs) trying to call & being on hold 35 to 45 minutes at a time ? I just can't go thru with this foolishness any longer . But in few days when I get back on the road & in an already stressful environment ,uhaul will call & tell me that another late fee will be added & more tolls will be found. BRING ON THE STRESS! The van was dirty I had to clean it myself at the Uhaul location the workers didn't care at all I told them it was nasty before I left but no body did nothing and also there were roaches this is not the first time I got a nasty van some of them have dog hair in them and burnt cigarettes that's a shame we have to pay our . The parking lot in front of the store was a mess, trucks parked everywhere and could hardly find where to go. Inside there was only one person at the counter and a line of 6-8 people, the manager wasn't even there. The manager came back while I was there and she seemed to have just left work to go to Dunkin as she walked in with coffee. I had a reservation for a storage unit, but when I got there to move in, as I was told to do online and through the app, there were no units available. What is the point of a reservation if I'm not actually going to get a unit. I had a one way truck full of my belongings in the parking lot. I was told there was nothing they could do and just left to figure it out myself. I will never store anything at U-Haul, because apparently their customers mean nothing to them. I had to call around and find a different place to store my stuff because U-Haul screwed me over. If you're going to give people reservations, there needs to be something to actually back up those reservations, if not then they aren't actually reservations. They're useless.Larissa W.

The office manager messed up my UBox order on this past Saturday 4-17-21. It caused me and my packers time before payment could be received. I have a problem with this facilities rules of no receipt of payments of monies paid in advance and the contract is cancelled 2 weeks before the end of the month. It's like being robbed having to pay for services not rendered. It upset me greatly. I am going to another Uhaul in another state and they would not even give me my money to credit them.
