I am thankful for customer service for fixing my dilemma the day of. I would appreciate it if there is a limited truck availability or any issue to be contacted directly at least 24 hours in advance. To find out as O was preparing to pick up the truck was the most frustrating experience out of it all.

That day, was very easy and smooth and the associate on duty that day was very polite and handled a large rush of people with ease. Everyone got taken care of and he was just really nice. I will recommend this place from now on and use it when I move again.


Cashier was very helpful, trailer did not hurt my trucks suspension. Totally worth going back in the future.

Rented a cargo van. Never was divulged that it ONLY took E83 gas. Got to Macon, GA 10pm. Took an hour to find station with gas. I'm 65 yrs old driving my disabled 62 yr old brother to new assisted living facility in TN. Tried calling Uhaul just to ask how to deal with gas situation. Scared to put any other gas in van. What if engine blew up???? Same story coming back. Stopped in Hickson, TN for gas. Ended up going UHaul there and the two very nice general manager and her assistant made calls for 30 minutes to find the gas. I was almost in tears. I delivered van this morning. Clean. Told the manager, Kaitlyn the issues. I refused to pay for an extra day and I refused to refuel. Wasn't going to drive over hell's half acre looking for a gas station. I rated the Normandy location high bc the people working there were not at fault. Higher up the food chain should clearly inform the renters with sticker on dash, verbal information, location of gas stations on route. Thank you.

Only complaint, truck had very little gas, just over 1/4 tank. Luckily, I didn't have to go far so I didn't have to add gas, but I feel vehicles should have at least 1/2 a tank of gas.

The staff was very rude. She was 20 min. Late opening then acted mad because 6 people were there waiting on her. When I took it back, no one was at the counter, I stood there for 10 min then a guy popped his head out of a back room and told me to just put the keys on the counter and he would take care of it later. Then I was over charged $66 for fuel that I had to dispute because it was untrue. Over all experience was a cluster! I will NOT use uhual again!

The idea of a "contactless" truck rental like is advertised is not close at all. The app guides you through the truck pickup, but this is also extensive. You have to take pictures of your license, provide an alternate contact person (who has to be contacted prior to them allowing you access to the app), and take pictures of the truck at every portion of the walkthrough. Through years of renting Uhaul trucks, the employees have never gotten over their laziness to do a walkthrough of the truck, but in this case I have to go through multiple layers of confirmation of my identity as well as the truck itself? Complete waste of time. But, when it comes time to pick up the keys, there is no secure contactless location for this. I have to go inside the store and the front desk attendant has to physically give me the keys! This is completely against the idea of a "do it yourself" pickup. Then, the moving pads I requested are not in the truck and I have to go back in a second time to get them! Overall very disappointed with this process. The truck was clean and I was able to get the job done that I needed, but the pickup process was overly complicated and unnecessary and as usual Uhaul has a single employee working in a busy store so there is zero efficiency.

The Saturday staffing was very nonchalant about helping the customers and it took one of the customers to get their attention outside to come help us.

Have enough staff to actually have customer service.. the 1 young lady that was trying to help 7 or 8 of us while dealing with software glitches that were preventing another customer from finishing they're move... truck was clean but smelled like an ashtray

The Uhaul truck and the auto transport were stolen from a hotel parking lot. The truck was recovered same day it was stolen, but the transport wasn't recovered until 2 weeks later. And now I'm being billed for the time it wasn't in my possession. This is highly unfair as I had no control over what happened to it, much less when it was recovered. I paid insurance, I filed a police report and insurance claim and reported both stolen to Uhaul. I lost 90% of my personal belongings and to have to pay $350 because it was recovered is insulting


More workers are needed at your facility. Customers have to spend too much time waiting around for help.

Several employees asked me to move my 26 ft truck and tow dolly forward when the return slots where full of other vehicles. I had to leave my truck and wander through the store to find someone to help me turn in my truck. Exit was completely blocked and we had to wait 45 minutes to leave the lot.

Chanee a flat trailer tire at the store where it was rented. Instead of renting, and not repairing it. Call roadside assist, at your facility. Plus your employee can't call for assistance or locate an available trailer.

Wait time was horrible waited in line for 20 mins I never had to wait this long in a line at any of the other uhauls with only 2 people in front of me. Uhaul van was stank smelled like cigarettes.

When a reservation is moved to another location make sure that the reservation can be fulfilled, i was moved from the blanding blvd location to the Normandy location and i had to wait for a truck to be returned for an hour. Also had to travel additional mileage due to this and no effort was mentioned to reimburse for extra mileage traveled even after submitting an email to the company expressing my frustration

Need at least 1 more person to help check in and out customers. My return took almost 20 minutes to get to counter. I could not use my phone for the return process. But over all I will rent again.

Customer service was horrible. I waited for 20 minutes before anyone spoke to me or any of the other customers waiting to be served. There was no employee inside the store for that length of time. Once someone showed up, my reservation was honored —I found the vehicle and took care of my business. I will not use this location again.

I used the mobile website to check in and it asked me to walk in the lobby and hold up my phone, which I did... nobody noticed. I ended up waiting in line for 30 minutes just to get my keys. The woman working had no sense of urgency and everyone in line was remarking at how unacceptable it was that service was that long... some only needing to buy some boxes.

Have more reliable people on staff. We waited in line for an hour and a half behind only one couple. I can't imagine how long the other SEVENTEEN people had to wait behind us. No that's not an exaggeration. We counted. It became a running joke as more people came in. Only one woman was working and she obviously didn't want to be there. And she DEFINITELY works too many days.... she said verbatim “they got me working 7 days a week. They don't care so why should I care?” HIRE MORE PEOPLE AND THIS LOCATION MAY NOT SUCK SO BAD. It delayed our CROSS COUNTRY move by about 4 hours and all we had to do was pick up a trailer for a car for a truck we already had for a few days. Our whole experience was awful with this location to the point where they told me they couldn't find a drop off point on Washington for us so we would have to find our own drop off location once we arrived. WELL APPARENTLY ITS NOT THAT EASY. I contacted the prospective drop off location and they said I would have to call the original location to have them transfer our equipment into their system. I immediately burst into tears simply because I knew contacting the Normandy location would NOT be possible. I sat on hold for 45 minutes (I'm honestly under estimating here). I ended up calling back the drop off location we wanted and he gave me a regional number to call and Rebecca that I spoke with was AWESOME. And the Kenmore Washington location was even MORE AWESOME!!! Not all Uhaul is bad!! But curse the Normandy location. Thank goodness I never need to deal with them EVER.

Service is very slow every time I have been in this location. This time it took me around 50 minutes for check out, due to staff having very little interest in my being there, moving very slowly with service and not communicating any reasons for the delay. Even with my UHaul corporate account the rates are very high compared to the other service providers I use. The milage rate is extremely high, 5-6 times higher than my corporate accounts with Penske, Merchant, Ryder, Budget and Enterprise. U-Haul is my very last resort when I need a vehicle. I wish I felt differently about doing business with UHaul.
