Well, first they tried to give me a 20 ft truck with a blown tire. Luckily, another customer was walking by and noticed the gaping hole in the tire before I drove away. So they gave me a 26 foot truck instead. I told them I didn't want a 26 foot because I was towing a car and it's too big. They offered a $100 discount. I told them that the difference in gas alone would be more than $100. The manager said that they all use the same amount of gas......i don't think so. So I said to give me insurance for free instead since the risk of an incident would be much higher driving such a large truck. He agreed and told me to pay for it, then he would discount it out later. Im pretty sure he's not going to do that, since it hasn't happened yet. Then to top it off, the manager hooked my car up to the tow dolly wrong. Luckily I noticed and corrected it before I actually left for my 800 mile trip. I don't know how they manage to operate this location with such inferior business practices.

Reservations was for a pickup Saturday between 9-10. Arrived at 915 was told we had to drive to Normandy to pick up and as to our inconvenience we would be receiving a 50 dollar reimbursement. In Normandy we were waited on a young lady by the name of shanequa who was dumb as a box of rocks took 30 min to find our reservation and we had the reservation number. Also regarding the $50 reimbursement shanequa said it was a separate transaction so I don’t know if received it. Once we arrived to our destination and called the number to return the trailer we returned it that very same day. When we arrived a sign on building said open but no one was there so we called the number and was told to leave it there on the lot. My husband struggled for 20 minutes trying to unhook it. Finally we had success. This was a very bad experience. Reservation number 81303715

After our wonderful experience picking up in Columbia, this was a disappointment. We had tried to get information several days (and several times) before our trip to SC, and couldn't get any info - "go to the website".

I left my car charger in truck due to me rushing to work. I called 5 mis after leaving and said i will come back tommorrow to get it. Someone said they would look and call back. Nothing i have called the location 3 to 5 times and cs. Twice. Waiting on a call from location. My caharger was in there cause i put gas in truck 5 mins way before returning truck.

Check the tires for wear in the lighted area or daylight the service was great but the one tire on our trailer had very little tread, luckily we made it to our destination and back with no major incident's even through a major snow storm through the carolinas and Georgia.

Stop double booking. And when people rent something, make sure you tell them they are getting charged a fee for insurance or whatever you call it. They went over the price of mileage, and putting gas in, but not being charged 14.00 for insurance. Didn't know until I looked on receipt on my email tonight.

I went in for a face to face rental. I asked for a truck and car dolly. The store manager was the person attending to my request, he told me he didn’t have the right car dolly on hand and that he submitted my request to the regional office to help fill the request. He told me I would hear something soon. I later got an email confirming my pick up at the same location I tried to do the face to face with. Low and behold they had the correct car dolly on hand. If I wasn’t in a bind to help my sister recover her car I would have went elsewhere after what the store manager had done. My time is just as important and getting the run around only hindered my plans. I’m not saying the store manager should be fired, and I feel it was more of him not wanting to deal with me so close to him getting off at 4pm, however he needs more training. I wish I could remember the guy that helped me when I went back to pick up the vehicle, he was super helpful and he apologized for his manger’s actions.

Well the girl marked the gas the wrong way and i did not notice it until i got to my destination which was 1/2 mile down the road. i took care of what i needed to and filled the tank to what she marked so as not to accrue a $30 charge. When i returned the van an hour later i told the guy i checked in with what happened and he said i would get a gas credit.. Since i haven't gotten it yet i believing that this is not true. If there is a next time i will definitely pay more attention to this.

I did express check in the lady still did regular check in so I wasted my time the rental cost of the van does not actually give u 100 miles so yea cost was more expensive than renting a truck the van had scratches all over it and the girl wasn’t even gonna mark them on the sheet til I said something also the cab of the van was not cleaned at all when I mentioned it she shrugged. Also the mileage was wrong but I didn’t notice until I left when I came back it took over twenty minutes to check out because they only had one cashier won’t be going back to them again

Improve the self pickup process. It takes forever to load. It takes a long time in general. The point is to skip the wait not spend the same amount of time. The hold for the Dante charges twice for 3 days is ridiculous too. Implement a better practice as far as that is concerned as well.

Work on customer service, in other words, be a little more upbeat, outgoing and friendly. Customer service is 10xs more important when you're dealing with people in person than over the phone. I don't care how bad your day was, you never allow the customer to see that because it can be taken the wrong way because that's pretty much what happened with the visit there.
