The fuel gauge was broken. they told us it was on empty and if we filled it up to 1/4 tank we would get a $24 credit. turned out to be the fuel gauge was broken but I showed them receipt where I put 7 gallons in even though we only went 8 miles total and they gave us the credit

More staff-both times for pick up n drop off I had to wait in line ..for drop off there was nobody even there n myself and a couple other customers were just hanging around waiting for someone to show up which they did 10mins later..there was a new girl there during drop off showing another customer a uhaul n she didn't say we will be right with you or try to get someone to help us that we're waiting even though she saw us standing there waiting..when I picked up the truck got it loaded m everything only then did I find out the security lock for the truck didn't work..I had to drive all the way back to uhaul to get another lock..a great improvement for uhaul would be if they gave their customers a ride to and from their destinations ofcourse as long as it is within a certain range/miles

When you give an rate call if any changes may accure was billed $30 dollars over, then $40 more because where I was told to pick up from was not any holding so it made more miles.

More staff in the AM, there was a long wait to pick up as there was only 1 person working at 9am on a Saturday. The van was clean, but had a strong odor from someone smoking in it, so maybe some equipment could be reserved for non smokers.

I reserved a 5x10 enclosed trailer online. U-haul confirmed it & sent me to Normandy Blvd. They did not have the trailer & as usual the customer has to make all of the phone calls to find out about the reservation. The people at your site do not help with your company's mess ups. I changed to a 5x8 trailer so that i could get one. The store charged the price for the 5x8, but u-haul charged me for the 5x10. You can't give me the trailer i reserved but you are going to charge me the higher price for what I had to take. YOU overcharged me for this reservation and if YOU don't fix that this complaint will be elevated to an outside agency!!!



I went to 5 different locations only to find out that 3 do not exist anymore. Attempted to rent trailer at the location closest to the Jacksonville airport only to have the person tell me that the trailer was already rented but they are late. Over a hour. I will purchase a trailer to not have to deal with u haul in the future.

I had a reservation for 4pm, I arrived to the location around 3:45 pm, I was told that I was early and they gave the trailer to a walk in customer, and they were expecting more trailers to come in. I had to wait an additional 25 minutes for a trailer, which in trun made me late to another appointment because of this issue. I reserved a trailer and I expected to have one available when I got there, I feel that I was penalized for having the forethought of reserving a trailer and if I had walk in, I would've gotten more preference. This is not how you run a business. I rent from Uhaul quite a bit, and this experience was the worst so far. This store needs to get its act together.

Have more than one person opening the store. When I arrived at 7:30 am there was one employee preparing a truck and no one inside assisting customers because the other employee was late. By the time he arrived there were three people waiting in line for assistance. The computer system then was an issue. It took the employee some time to get around the unresponsive keypad and printing function issues. They could be more efficient if the computer systems were more functional.

More check in staff on premises on Saturday. The gentlemen that were there are overwhelmed and LOTS OF angry customers. I was patient with him but ha had just been cursed by the woman in front of me.
