The parking lot in front of the store was a mess, trucks parked everywhere and could hardly find where to go. Inside there was only one person at the counter and a line of 6-8 people, the manager wasn't even there. The manager came back while I was there and she seemed to have just left work to go to Dunkin as she walked in with coffee. I had a reservation for a storage unit, but when I got there to move in, as I was told to do online and through the app, there were no units available. What is the point of a reservation if I'm not actually going to get a unit. I had a one way truck full of my belongings in the parking lot. I was told there was nothing they could do and just left to figure it out myself. I will never store anything at U-Haul, because apparently their customers mean nothing to them. I had to call around and find a different place to store my stuff because U-Haul screwed me over. If you're going to give people reservations, there needs to be something to actually back up those reservations, if not then they aren't actually reservations. They're useless.Larissa W.

My destination was approximately 170 miles. When I picked up the truck it had a quarter tank of gas in it. I had to stop and get gas before leaving for my destination and stop and put gas in before dropping it off. Why would it not have a full tank of gas? To me that's inconvenient. I have called â€œregionalâ€, I don't know. The structure of uhaul as a whole is confusing. I received the run around when I was trying to complain about my experience. Took over an hour to get a uhaul, with already being checked in with early reservation. The only reason we (there was a room full of customers) got helped is because I knocked on the employee only door where all the customers could hear the two staff members inside talking negatively about customers. It was baffling to say the least, the two employees that came out, could not help. That wasn't their â€œareaâ€, yet no one was working the rental area? I still have NO CLUE what happened fully that day because it was that much of a cluster! The poor lady in front of me got accused of having an â€œattitudeâ€, which she was waiting in there before me. No telling how long she was there but definitely didn't have an attitude but was rightfully upset due to service, I'm coughing that ladies attitude towards that particular customer to racism. Because the only difference between me and the customer before me was our color and I assure you I was not nice after that service and I was not treated as poorly as the lady in front of me and she was much nicer with her frustration. So moral of the story, I think the staff was racist, they talked openly (unknowingly) poorly about customers, staff was not helpful, and the whole place is ran as if no one is in charge. If y'all need help, let me come in and clean house because I assure you, I will have that place running like a military base.Brittney P.

They have people working in there that do not know what they are doing. Employees are processing payments without customer's consent. This location is so disorganized, it's intolerable. We almost got into a wreck in the parking lot because nobody knew where to park, where to drive, or how traffic flowed through the lot. Trucks and trailers were parked everywhere and anywhere, with no real sense of direction or organization. In order to get the truck I had reserved, I had to physically pick up and move a smaller trailer that someone had left across two lanes, and ask someone to move their car because they had parked in front of it.Zachary L.

We had to take the trailer to three drop off locations before we found one that would accept it. The first place (where we were told to take it) was full. The second was rude and the third finally took it. Took almost two hours to drop it off.Constance R.

Initially my experience was fine, the person with whom I picked up the trailer was very polite and accommodating.The equipment itself was filled with sticks and debris, but I declined the offer to blow it clear since I knew I had considerable miles to cover in picking up my load. My biggest grievance is the supplied instructions for securing the load, in following these I managed to learn the hard lesson that it was not meant for my style of motorcycle - looping the straps around the handlebars caused stress to the ignition assembly and completely broke and dislodged my starter button. Thankfully I opted for the optional insurance, yet it remains to be seen how the claim goes. My secondary issue was in returning the trailer. I showed up prior to the facility opening, but chose to wait since I had issue registering my claim online. Once open, I was ignored by an employee and skipped over to attend another who arrived after me. In my wait I managed to initiate the claim online, so I inquired with the afore mentioned employee if it necessary to continue waiting to return my equipment and I was met with an abrasive retort that I would need to wait my turn to speak to the sole person working the counter. Feeling tired from long hours of driving and loading, I ended up sitting on the floor to ease my back pain ...until a young representative called out for returns. She was very pleasant and understanding. You could do with more associates like her and the first young man I encountered. A link or QR code to access better loading/securing instructions for motorcycles, particularly with options for the type of motorcycle involved, would be highly recommended to avoid potential for damage. Otherwise, I am very pleased and impressed to learn U-Haul offers motorcycle-specific trailer options, I wish I had been aware long ago. Overall, the experience was a life saver.SINJIN Y.

No trolly in my truck Has was lower than what it was placed. I had to pay for fuel I didn’t use. I couldn’t access my storage unit, because my pin did not work. The office manager messed up my UBox order on this past Saturday 4-17-21. It caused me and my packers time before payment could be received. I have a problem with this facilities rules of no receipt of payments of monies paid in advance and the contract is cancelled 2 weeks before the end of the month. It's like being robbed having to pay for services not rendered. It upset me greatly. I am going to another Uhaul in another state and they would not even give me my money to credit them.
