Make sure you are checking the equipment before the next customer. I rented a tow dolly and one of the lights on it was broken. Then one of the straps to wrap around the tire wasn't long enough to even strap the tore down. I had to go to lowes to buy another just to get to my destination. I called customer service and it was a 40 minute hold just for Someone yo pick up the phone and hang up. That was my second time using this specific location and it won't be a third.Jessica C.

The area is a little run down but this location has great customer service and I have used them several times. I would have someone drop you off rather than leave your vehicle here.Allison W.
The tow dolly I rented to get my mother's broke down car of the side of the road,, was not in safe working condition when I rented it. When I arrived at the location to load the vehicle. We realized that the strap for securing the driver's side tire to the dolly was broken and couldn't reach the ratchet strap. There was no way to safely transport the vehicle. So I drove it back to the location where I rented it, which had just closed 10 minutes prior to my arrival. The gentleman was still there but was already locked up. I managed to get him to come out side and I explained to him that the dolly wasn't operational and I wasn't able to use it. He simply said okay and walked away. I checked the equipment in, provided pictures of the broken equipment, and left it there. I basically paid 58 dollars to pull a dolly 46 miles and never could use it. This could have all been avoided if they would have properly inspected the dolly before renting it out, because there were several dolly to chose from. If they would have inspected it, they would have seen that it was non operational, and could have given me a different one and not wasted my time and money. I will never rent from U-Haul again. This was one of the worst experience with U-Haul, the people at the counter where rude, we had to stand around and wait would not honor the U-Haul website prices. They laughed in my face then literally told me that I didn't know "for sure" that they where laughing at me. Concerned about loosing my things or something "happening" to them if I go into greater detail. Spoke to someone at U-Haul which was very nice till she transferred me and I got hung up on... The equipment at this location is fine. The staff is not adequately trained and very slow. I had a problem with a lock being left on the truck and the person I spoke with was very rude. I don't recommend renting from this location.Jeffrey Z.
The entire process was shambles! The attendant when i rented the truck was not clear in the instructions and was busy watching sports on his phone and I had to repeat answers to his questions. The truck wouldn't start and i was offered no compensation for this problem and was even charged MORE!! Because the truck would not start I did not want to drive it back across town at 1100 p.m. after moving up and down 3 flights of stairs! The attendant that called me the following morning was rude, threatening, and condescending to me. This has to be the worse experience with UHAUL I have ever had...ugh!AMBER P.

Here's what happened. The connection to the lights was frayed and had to be respliced which occurred. But upon one stop on the interstate I discovered that the cords were dragging and had to tape them up. When I got home we realized the back up light on the right side was not working.Elizabeth C.

We originally had our U-Haul Scheduled to pick up in Jenks at the Chieftain Storage facility - this was a complete nightmare. We were there an hour trying to figure out why we couldn't get the option to pick up the truck. It took two calls to U-Haul customer service. The first lady just sent us a video without checking anything on our order. After 30 mins of messing with that - we called back and the next customer service agent actually pulled up our order and told us that they did not leave any keys and that they did not set it up at all for us even though it was confirmed. So she sent us to the closest place which was this location. It started our move day over an hour later than intended with a lot of frustration. But this location was great. They sorted it all out and were very prompt and got us on our way. So it worked out in the end.EMILY W.

Was told my trailer rental was 67$, I was told that was for 6hr time frame. I brought it back in 5.5 hrs. The lady said my final bill was around 135$. I asked what happened to the 67$ price I was given and she said "oh that's just the estimated price". I said how do you estimate 2x less the price of the rental. She did not have a response and walked away. That's very disturbing. I will not ever rent from 8haul again. This is the 2nd time this location has done this to me.Jon-Christopher B.

We reserved a cargo van to be picked up and dropped off closest to our home was told we would receive a call on Monday to confirm. We did not receive the phone call until Thursday and was informed that the location we had chosen did not have a van and that U-Haul apparently is not interconnected enough to get rentals moved around to accommodate customer needs. I reserved a small trailer and appliance dolly to move a washer and dryer. Unfortunately, they did not have an appliance dolly but the website gives no indication that what you are reserving is not available... until you arrive to pick it up. Didn't need the trailer if I couldn't get the washer and drying into it, but went ahead and took it and fortunately we found something else that worked. Uhaul needs to figure out how to only let you reserve equipment they actually have.Randy B.

Reserved an appliance dolly. But one was not available at checkout. Fuel level was marked as full, but I drove 6 miles and it took 7.5 gallons to fill up. I reserved for 24 hours but I picked up 30 minutes late. Return time was not updated so I had the truck for 23.5 hours. I did not request a dolly or moving blankets, but both were preloaded in the truck taking up valuable floor space for your marketing efforts.steven S.

This unit did not honor my 1st month room free. They did not have the room available the same as described on the app. They had attitude. The manager kept saying what he wouldn't do via telephone but made no effort to resolve directly. They said I could dispute with customer service. While the location of this storage facility is not ideal, the manager Mark is beyond helpful. I live out of state and I feel so much better knowing Mark is watching over things here. He let me know immediately when someone cut my lock off my unit. He sent me pictures to help me determine if anything had been taken. And he replaced the lock on it for me. All of this was above and beyond and so helpful as I was not in a position to come back to Tulsa at the time. When I did make it back to Tulsa he took the time to walk with me to my unit to double check everything was as it should be.
