My storage unit was broken into my property was damaged from the break in as well as the ceiling leaking water on everything and I can't seem to get a response from anyone on how to file an insurance claim which I paid 20.00 extra for a month will not recommend uhaul to anyone I knowROBERT M.

We originally had our U-Haul Scheduled to pick up in Jenks at the Chieftain Storage facility - this was a complete nightmare. We were there an hour trying to figure out why we couldn't get the option to pick up the truck. It took two calls to U-Haul customer service. The first lady just sent us a video without checking anything on our order. After 30 mins of messing with that - we called back and the next customer service agent actually pulled up our order and told us that they did not leave any keys and that they did not set it up at all for us even though it was confirmed. So she sent us to the closest place which was this location. It started our move day over an hour later than intended with a lot of frustration. But this location was great. They sorted it all out and were very prompt and got us on our way. So it worked out in the end.EMILY W.

Was told my trailer rental was 67$, I was told that was for 6hr time frame. I brought it back in 5.5 hrs. The lady said my final bill was around 135$. I asked what happened to the 67$ price I was given and she said "oh that's just the estimated price". I said how do you estimate 2x less the price of the rental. She did not have a response and walked away. That's very disturbing. I will not ever rent from 8haul again. This is the 2nd time this location has done this to me.Jon-Christopher B.

We reserved a cargo van to be picked up and dropped off closest to our home was told we would receive a call on Monday to confirm. We did not receive the phone call until Thursday and was informed that the location we had chosen did not have a van and that U-Haul apparently is not interconnected enough to get rentals moved around to accommodate customer needs. I waited 55 minutes to get it checked in, I realized they were busy but there was an issue with every customer in front of me. My time is valuable too. I reserved a small trailer and appliance dolly to move a washer and dryer. Unfortunately, they did not have an appliance dolly but the website gives no indication that what you are reserving is not available... until you arrive to pick it up. Didn't need the trailer if I couldn't get the washer and drying into it, but went ahead and took it and fortunately we found something else that worked. Uhaul needs to figure out how to only let you reserve equipment they actually have.Randy B.

Reserved an appliance dolly. But one was not available at checkout. Fuel level was marked as full, but I drove 6 miles and it took 7.5 gallons to fill up. I reserved for 24 hours but I picked up 30 minutes late. Return time was not updated so I had the truck for 23.5 hours. I did not request a dolly or moving blankets, but both were preloaded in the truck taking up valuable floor space for your marketing efforts.steven S.

First off, I was told that my 10 month old tags were expired and when I showed the registration to the employee/manager he said it didn't matter. He said how do we know they aren't stolen? Maybe by looking at the registration? I had to rush to a TAG office before they closed to get a sticker for the tag. I returned and rented the trailer. After leaving I got an email showing the wrong drop off location that I had to change over the phone. The third day of the rental, the wiring got caught in the roll-up door causing me to lose half of my tail lights. Everything seemed to go okay when I dropped off the trailer on Tuesday morning until I checked my email this morning and see that I was charged for an additional day when I requested a return on Tuesday 9/7/21 and had until 5:00 PM to drop it off. I dropped it off around 9:45 that morning. Now I'm on a 25 minute hold for customer service to get this corrected. I've rented from U-haul for years in Knoxville without a problem, this location in Tulsa was horrible! One more thing... They needed names and phone numbers of two people I know. What the heck is up with that? I have never been treated this way anywhere before, absolutely uncalled for. Now... after spending 25 min on hold and speaking to a customer service rep, she was no help at all and ended up transferring me to the Farragut location which had nothing to do with the initial rental.Michael B.

Mark was so compassionate and caring during a time of great sorrow of the unexpected loss of my son. We needed to rent a vehicle hauler trailer to move my deceased son's truck to my daughter's house. There were not any trailers available. Mark was able to arrange for the lady who had the trailer reserved to change her reservation to a car dolly so we could use the trailer. I got charged for 2 gallons of gas when it had exactly how much I got it with, I returned it a day and a half early and got charged for an overnight fee because I didn't know you had to check it in. I also got charged extra mileage when I went from the Lawton location that was .1 mile from U-Haul in Lawton straight to Tulsa where I told them I was goingâ€¦ then I could not get ahold of anyone at the U-Haul location in Tulsa. So I rented for an extra day and I guess that's no. Refundable which I don't understand next time I'll just keep an extra day so you can't plan and you can still charge me thenâ€¦ extra mileage which was not true and 2 gallons of gas which was also not true so an extra $100 of my money for a already $450 trip. We returned everything that was rented in the back of the uhaul when we dropped it off. The men working didn't want to take the return and tried to send us down the road to a different location to return it. When the other location was full the unhooked the uhaul and told us to leave that we would get an email. Now they're trying to charge us for a Daly that was for sure returned with the trailer. ***UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES*** Charged for items not requested or used. This has happened before. Charged almost double for a day and a half rental. Charged for insurance I didn't get No manager. Too bad for you. They apply charges and process payment without allowing the customer to review the invoice. Manager never called. Called another location. That manager never called either. U-Haul owes me almost $600 from a truck rental in 2020 as well as charges for another van rental that they attached unpurchased insurance and fees to. This unit did not honor my 1st month room free. They did not have the room available the same as described on the app. They had attitude. The manager kept saying what he wouldn't do via telephone but made no effort to resolve directly. They said I could dispute with customer service. I fell and broke my hand there in July with a sign sticking out. Then they wouldn't check me in claiming system was down and they left at 7:15. Then they overcharged my visa and lied about Gas line. Refused to go over it. While I was doing self check in they took the truck and I couldn't get mileage. I'm passed patient and I'm very upset. I let the broken arm slide and I'm paying hospital bills from that. But the gas and the bullspuck check in is not acceptable. While the location of this storage facility is not ideal, the manager Mark is beyond helpful. I live out of state and I feel so much better knowing Mark is watching over things here. He let me know immediately when someone cut my lock off my unit. He sent me pictures to help me determine if anything had been taken. And he replaced the lock on it for me. All of this was above and beyond and so helpful as I was not in a position to come back to Tulsa at the time. When I did make it back to Tulsa he took the time to walk with me to my unit to double check everything was as it should be.
